    One more question. So this movie takes place after the movie Logan right. Well, in Logan most of the mutants died due to the poison spread by some humans. But how is Deadpool not affected by it and how come everything looked pretty normal in a sense of their city and etc?

    I can understand the hype and the cameos and all that… but to be honest i was kinda bored with the action and jokes, it was mid at best, no consequence fatalities could have used more time on serious character sub plots with wolverine but no they don’t go anywhere. Loved the midnight suns reference but I feel it was ticking boxes from the wish list.. also hate music choices.. don’t k ow how rewatchable this is for as other films

    Few questions, hope you can help answer them. But first I agree with your critics. 1. Why were so many stuff and characters in the Void? I thought TVA sent you there if you mess with multiverse time line. 2. Was X23, Blade and others dead by that cloud? And that the lady from TVA go back to the past where they were alive to get X23 for Deadpool? And did she only brought back X23 and not others? 3. Dr. Strange who died in the Void, was he from a different universe than the Dr. Strange we know of? 4. When Sabertooth got his head chopped off, if they put his head onto his body would he heal? Because Deadpool got his head chopped off before and he winked. 5. Was Johnny Storm from Fantastic Four, was he from the same movie we got long time ago with Jessica Alba? And that universe, were they in different universe than this main Deadpool? Thanks

    • @LoganLikesMovies
      @LoganLikesMovies 7 днів тому

      1. Could be one of two things I think. First is that yeah, it’s just cause they messed with the multiverse timeline somehow. Or second would be that Deadpool universe isn’t the first the TVA tried destroying. Maybe they also destroyed Blade’s, Elektra’s, and more. 2. It’s just kinda left unclear if they were dead from the cloud and whether or not they were doesn’t really matter I guess. Cause either they were dead and the lady time traveled to get X23 or they weren’t and the lady still got X23 but didn’t have to time travel. I’d guess she only brought back X23 cause otherwise the others would’ve also been in that ending dinner scene. But maybe she did and those characters will show up in Secret Wars. 3. Not the MCU Dr. Strange, definitely some variant of him. 4. I think he’d heal if you put his head back. But I don’t think anyone will ever put the head back. 5. Seems like the same Johnny as the one in the Jessica Alba Fantastic 4. Don’t think those movies were ever in the same universe as Deadpool cause otherwise they probably would’ve tried doing a Fantastic 4 X Men crossover at some point

    I thought the beginning was distasteful. Deadpool digging up Logan's grave was fine but should not have shown the skeleton and fight with using his skeleton. If he just dug up the grave and got the claws to fight that would have been better. Now if I go back and watch Logan it won't be the same.

    • @LoganLikesMovies
      @LoganLikesMovies 7 днів тому

      I see where you’re coming from for sure. In my opinion I don’t think it was distasteful just cause it’s not like Logan was alive or anything. Sure Deadpool kind of makes fun of Logan’s sacrifice but we aren’t forced to agree with Deadpool’s takes. I’m just glad Logan wasn’t alive or anything when Deadpool dug him out, then I think that would be VERY distasteful

    Well I'm a director and this movie had cool shots and stuff but plot,storytelling and the premise is lacking so much which made the movie mid so I actually agree. It was all hype and cameo-fest which affected the story itself. Basically thank God for Ryan and Hugh for carrying this movie.

      I don’t really think it was a cameo fest. I was surprised with how much screen time they got, they were pretty much supporting characters at that point. They actually helped the plot I thought especially with the theme they were going for.

      @@LoganLikesMovies not sarcasm. Obviously the movie was rushed. More time to work on a project means better quality, less about fan service and more about the plot itself. Plus if it WAS 3 hours, then it would've given them enough time to realize that the whole needle drop thing needed to go after the first one and in turn could've translated way better onto screen. Not to mention the weird fever dream of cameos this movie shows.

    I think Episodes 3 & 7 were the “cringiest,” but the finale was probably the worst… it was all so messy and rushed and anti-climactic, and nothing really made any sense 🤷🏻‍♂️ I honestly didn’t pick up on any negative aspects of Sol, I just thought he was kind of an idiot, with most of the questionable things he did seeming more like script deficiencies, rather than intentional character development… I suppose a compelling story for him would’ve been to give him a lot of guilt he’s struggling with throughout, with Mae and Osha being the devil and angel on his shoulders, so to speak… and in the end he finally gives in to his despair and lashes out at Mae, killing her… and in turn, that’s the finale straw for Osha’s faith in the Jedi, and she kills him and goes off with Qimir. something like that… or a completely different story that’s much better all around. and if I’m being extra honest, Lee Jung-Jae could’ve used a bit more practice with his English before taking on this role… and Mae and Osha should’ve been recast entirely 😑

    I was REALLY holding out hope for this show. Sith Apprentice's journey which could highlight flaws in Jedi is a pretty good plot. Yet after watching this show, I am MORE on the side of the Jedi. The whole thing reads like a fan fiction that, while being set in Star Wars, has none of the hidden traits that makes it FEEL like Star Wars I would say that the redeeming quality is the fight choreography, but it was pretty rough in the finale. Plus they would end in the most hamfisted way that felt like a slap to the face reminding you that the terrible story is back in control. May is flippantly vengeful while Osha's primary motives flip so irregularly you would think she's bipolar for the sole purpose of plot. If there is an Acolyte season 2 and it's just as garbage as S2, I will be convinced that the sole reason Disney bought Lucasfilms was to systematically destroy the IP

      This is exactly how I feel. My issue is that the good fight choreography kept drawing me back into the show cause I thought that if the fighting could look so good, then the story could get better

    Loved it. Nice easy watch with humour, sadness and romance. Just the thing for a rainy afternoon!.

    The lead actress was very good. The rest and over all film was crap.

    It was very good but unfortunately did over explain at the end. If you’re gonna over explain the mother’s connection you need to explain why he ended up living in the mother’s house and also, some backstory to Cobble? Like, maybe how he became what he is? Was he part of a cult? The ciphers are kind of blown over, it would’ve been neat to see some connection to perhaps ancient Sumerian texts or something, some deeper drive to Cobble’s mission than simply ‘Hail Satan.’ I would find it interesting if perhaps Cobble as a boy had an encounter with someone doing what he now does & it gets passed on like a demonic virus/contract required to not be killed by the predator. I dunno, a lot explained yet not explained leaving an unfinished feeling. Perhaps a prequel for Cobble? Interesting name too. Cobblepot/The Penguin. Cage’s character had Joker & Penguin all over it. I was waiting for Batman to show up during the interrogation. Didn’t understand the clothes at all. Weird pinkish white, multiple button up shirts, the powdered face. Came off less Marc Bolan glam & more Liberace. He had guitars (a Flying V), awesome. But why? Was in he in a band at some point? Did Satan promise him fame & fortune for doing his ‘dirty work’? What was the metal ball? What material? How does it channel the voice of the devil? So much left to imagine which is annoying as what’s left to imagine about Cobble is juxtaposed against what is explained which is that the mother is arguably more of a player here in the murders. She actually enters the home. She is an accomplice!! In classic Manson fashion, Cobble never actually kills anyone. Anyway, so many holes, so many questions, so many missed opportunities. This film needed another hour to artfully fill in some blanks and it would’ve been a masterpiece. I give it a solid B+ or three stars. Also, not really scary but definitely ambient, eerie & at times, although brief, creepy.

      I definitely see where you’re coming from. For me, I just kinda went with it and really enjoyed it as a result. Nic Cage’s killer is just a loser. Perkins says his intention with the character was to critique this new obsession with true crime. I think if we got more of Longlegs and found out more of his back strut, it would’ve been counterproductive to Perkins’ vision and made Longlegs too sympathetic
