They are but i think its because the market is so saturated with really big names like Motortrend. Road and Track and Car and Driver. Aswell as several others that some people dont feel like looking up for more. I didnt know about Xcar until i saw on DRIVE when they were asking for like 9$ a month to watch their videos someone commented that Xcar was really good and so was DRIVE before that mistake. And since then ive trully enjoyed the content. Sadly they dont seem to get as many press cars as magazines like Motortrend and that means what we get to see is not as vast but they are amazing at what they do. And manufacturers seem to get to know who they are more and more.
i really love the way you painted this picture of the bugatti, reinspired a lost love for the thing. seriously you guys need more attention on this channel
Snipereye64 My sentiments exactly. When it came out, I was stunned that it could exist. Then in the 10 years of production we had Koenigseggs and Henessey and then Porsche, Ferrari and McLaren all re-writing the rules of fast. But in truth, the Veyron SS is just on another level. And it always will be.
The original hypercar is the McLaren F1 -Pushed the boundries of engineering -Astronomical costs -Oblitorated the fastest production car record -Noticible gap between 'supercars' thus creating the Hypercar category. and that was in 1992!!
Aval Sirithanawat SAME! I am die hard Bugatti fan. The F1 isn't as stable on top speed nor does it offer what the Veyron does in terms of handling and refinement. Though i'm a big F1 lvoer as well, i can't go around how good this car is.
im so glad that the "pendulum" is finally swinging the other way and people are having respect for the Veyron. Yes, its looks are subjective(I like it) but it truly is an amazing car that has set the bar very high for other cars. Its like the Porshe 959. So many future super/hyper cars will benefit from its feats. ........at last, the Veyron has its day.......congrats Bugatti......whats next?
I've never been a "fan" of the Veyrons as in have a poster of one on my wall or as a wallpaper or anything, but I honestly thing it's one of the greatest automotive feats of engineering of our century. Yeah it may now not accelerate as fast as the LaF/P1/918 but it paved the way for their ludicrous speeds and all the effort that wasn't put into the design of this thing went into making an astounding piece of machinery!
B3ansGuy Don't be naive. It crushes those fake hybrid shit cars. What makes you think they out acceleratee a Veyron? Dont be daft. They cannot beat it. No car can. What's wrong with the design?? It was designed to be aerodynamic and handsome as well.
carcinoGenetitics Karkat Heartless monster. The Veyron laughs at sharp turns like i laugh at your stupiditiy and hatred. It needs oohmp, but that contributes to the experience. It's not a nerd car like those faker 4 wheel laptops you drool around of.
+twin turbocharged (feggggg) With enough power, good enough power delivery and electronic control, the weight issue becomes easily rectified. It's physics.
@B3ansGuy for general knowledge... The ferrari Laferrari has 0 to 62 of 2.9 seconds the p1 does it in 2.79 the 918 does it in 2.8 and the veyron does it in 2.5 seconds
Porsche Curves Mmmh not really. On the same level as a 458 Speciale, a Miura, a Z06 (Z07 pack), or an SLR... But not Veyron, P1, LaFerrari, Agera R, Regera, or the McLaren F1 (yeah you read that right: the McLaren F1, fastest NA car ever and we're in 2015 this car is 20 years old. That's the really first hypercar). These cars changed the game radically, they each have very, very unique and bonkers features. The 959 did but not on the same level.
Koenigsegg fan boys always seem to forget that the veyron has these stats and weighs 1500 lbs more than the agera. It's not meant to just be the fastest alone. It's supposed to be the fastest as well as luxurious and good looking. The James Bond hypercar that you can look as good in wearing a suit as you can wearing a sweatsuit
StretchakaKickman Correct!! Allthough i wouldnt name this as Bond car, it has everything and does everything a normal car should do. (except it has no 4 seats and has high mpg, no boot space, but who cares?) It's comfortable, yet it feels extreme if you want to, it corners like a Lotus Elise, despite weighing 1880 kgs. It's stable at top speed as well as any other speed. it's a hypercar AND a grand tourer. It's the best of two worlds. It's as sharp, extremely quick and snappy as a Lamborhini, yet as refined, classy, and great quality, and reliable as a Bentley. And beautiful as hell. The gear box is said to even be able to last 30 years!! It's the best car ever made!! Anything that followed was either gay hybrid gismo laptops or other nerdy eco shit. This is the ending of an era. It's a beast and gentleman!
StretchakaKickman luxurious, but not remotely good looking. it's a hypercar shaped like a beetle. and that extra 1500lb makes it handler like a boat compared to a mclaren or ferrari.
Great tribute to masterpiece of automotive engineering. There are cars faster on track, even more powerful and maybe with greater top speed. But no one has achieved what the Veyron achieved in the 2005. As an engineer, I absolutely love this car.
Excellent video. The Veyron is an engineering marvel which opened the door for Ferrari, Porsche and McLaren to build the hypercars we have today. If it wasn't for that I'm not sure those three would be as mental as they are.
I saw a teal/black one drive past me on sunset blvd last summer and my jaw dropped, head snapped, and I almost swerved into oncoming traffic, trying to catch one more glimpse as it went around the bend. Definitely has road presence, a lot wider than I expected too. Must be something else to get to drive one
Great video! Great tribute...Veyron is a legend, car that achieved somethning only handful of cars have ever achieved...It became a benchmark for many years to come...true masterpiece. One has to admire it...love it
I cannot believe it. People are still trying to compare Paganis, Koenigseggs or even the Venom to the Veyron. The Veyron combines the speed of 430 kph and the acceleration of 2,5s to 100 kph and 6.7s to 200 kph with the highest luxury interior and the reliability and everyday usability of a VW Golf. This unique combination of qualities is where the unbelivable amount of engineering and resources went and that's why they used a W16. No other car comes close. And the new Chiron is right around the corner (465 kph and 2,0s to 100kph).
dagda3000 Well if you saw the amount of work that went into the development of the Huayra, you might think that it can indeed be compared to the Veyron.
Not to long ago i discovered this channel and i must say its an excellent channel, the quality of the videos, cameras, the hosts, everything about it is nice im going to say that if they continue making this quality content , they are the next Top Gear.
The quality of film and journalism of this channel is truly outstanding! The word use of the host (sadly don't know the name) is beautiful! Keep it up guys, Im have been and will be a great fan
Supersnake 93 Nope. McLaren F1 is actually a supercar. The regular version was known of having braking issue due to the compromise of not using ABS, its handling was handful through the cornering due to its racing input. The reason it got the fame is due to high speed and its racing variant.
Supersnake 93 No you don't. Because nowadays Mclaren's making nerdy hybrid and gismo cars that arent driver orietnated and by looks and act like mere robots. It has no feel to it, it's just boring and overly digitized. THe F1 was the last real Mclaren.
Alex and all the X Car team well done, its not my favourite shaped car, but I love the engineering. Another excellent enjoyable, informative and beautifully filmed review, far far better than anything on TV!
I have long followed this channel because I'm a true car guy that loves quality reviews from people that knows how to present a piece of art. But you deserve more subscribers and views.
I absolutely love what you guys do. Your videos are great. They show your knowledge, passion, and fun that you have when you make them. I feel as if I'm along for the ride. Great job.
love the look on your face when you stepped on it and took off... I need to drive this car. the big question now is who do I know that knows someone ,that nows someone...that owns one.
Fantastic video guys, XCAR at it's absolute best here! Thanks for showing a regular guy whom has never even seen one in real life (let alone drive one), fantasise what it would be like =) Very grateful to you guys for Letting me escape to pure bliss for a few minutes..... Cheers
a year or two ago I told you you would drive a Veryon remember? I mean I could see it, it was quite obvious. And there you are! achievement accomplished. congratulations to XcarFilms! You guys deserve the best.
Great video-the best Veyron review I've seen. It succeeds in getting across what the crazy performance figures feel like in the context of everyday driving
XCAR - you guys really make awesome videos. Period. Proper technical details for each car and you guys really nail the points which a proper petrol head would appreciate. Thank you for making awesome videos and I'm sure you'll do very well in this profession. God Speed.
Koenigsegg might be fast but Bugatti still holds the crown overall. The review ppl give when driving a bugatti shows how good it is, tho its old. Veryon is so old but still beats any hypercar till date.
the veyron is a marvellous car indeed, and it deserves credit for being the first hypercar that not only delivered extreme performance, but also luxury and comfort at the same time. as impressive as it is, i myself would still choose the Carrera GT over any other car
To be honest? I still prefer a Koenigsegg over a Veyron. But before people get upset. here's my reasoning for why: 1) Koenigsegg holds it's own respectful records. But it will always be the Under-hyped underdog. 2) Koenigsegg looks better. Honestly. The Veyron is by no means ungodly to look at. But it looks just like an oversized Beetle. Then again. Look who they're owned by. 3) Koenigsegg uses a back to basics formula: Rear Wheel, V8, no nonsense. They don't fiddle around with automatic suspension or AWD. They're just about get in and go. (I'll mention the doors later.) 4) Koenigsegg is unique. They're bespoke. When people see a Veyron, they'll do the same thing as a Koenigsegg viewer. They'll take photos, they'll ask you a billion questions, the whole sort. But there will still be those people who say to themselves "Wow. How cliche. You did the same thing Little Wayne did. You bought a Veyron, so you could say you bought one. Good job." A koenigsegg owner buys an Agera or Regera to be noticed, and not be scoffed at. Bugatti has it's top speed to stand behind. But even that isn't solid. They're losing their ground now. They don't have anything to really make themselves unique these days. Koenigsegg has their Synchrodyhelix doors, and their insane fuel adaptive V8. Henessy has their stick shift and Lotus frame. Bugatti has their record and their 16 cylindre. But for the love of enthusiasts everywhere, can we just stop this fighting? The Veyron is dead now. Let's move on from the "YEAH BUT THE RECORD" nonsense and focus on the fact that you couldn't use one on a racetrack. But you can't use any of the Hypercars in town either. I'm a Koenigsegg fan, but they all have their issues. Koenigsegg is just more openly practical. But Bugatti is still dead impressive. They need their new car to be innovative. Not just a speed pig. Otherwise, the One trick pony called Bugatti will get old fast.
+Michael Tarantino I strongly disagree on several points of yours. Koenigsegg is so extremely overhyped by fanboys that it actually made me to dislike Koenigsegg. Not a single one of those people (including me) can say any assumptions about any of these cars because they probably never even saw them irl. I had the opportunity to see a Veyron in Wolfsburg museum and it looks epic honestly. I'm probably one of the few people on earth that really like the simple clean shape and style of the Veyron. Do you like the "fluid" style of Koenigsegg? I really don't. Should anyone care? No! Neither do I. Now to the next point. "Back to basics" formula is a good thing if you do it the right way. I can't make any assumptions on my own, but from what I've seen and what I've heard, I can state here that all Koenigseggs are set up to understeer a lot. They use absurd amount of stability control and traction control just to keep the car on the road. You must go beyond the standard envelope of engineering to produce something special (although I'm not a huge fan of putting fucking batteries into sportscar like LaFerrari, P1, 918). Koenigsegg doesn't cut it for me. Uniqueness of those cars is very speculative. With the right amount of money, all luxury manufacturers will hook you up with something special like McLaren Special Operations, Aston Martin's Q, Pagani, 918 were heavily customizable as well. All the big players can do this with no exception. Is it not unique just because some random dude bought it as well? Hell it's rather expensive to make a one-off car, Clapton could tell you. Is those Koenigsegg doors something special? No, they're just some pretty doors. It's basically what Lambo did like over 40 years ago but requires much more space in the parking lot. I don't find it to be that amazing. Fuel Flex system is a nice thing, generally available at third party tuners. Also not a big deal because fuel stations with E85 are very scarce. Hennessey is not really a competition in this category of cars. It's just a tuner's wet dream. Nothing more, nothing less. There's no luxury within the Lotus body with LSX engine strapped into it. Veyron is definitely not dead the same ways as McLaren F1 and Porsche 959 are not dead. Now it's finally time to enjoy the legacy and stop hating the car because "it's Veyron". It's price is not even a valid argument because there are far more expensive cars nowadays. The last paragraph of yours is what really grinded my gears though. Why can you use Veyron on a track? Is there a law for it? You can use on track anything you want (and passes local safety rules) and Veyron would probably smoke a lot of competition easily just with a set of slicks. Nobody does it because Veyron was not made as a track car. It's specifically made to be a superfast luxury daily driver. Have you even watched the video? Also, what's more practical on a Koenigsegg? It's firm suspension and lack of any luggage space? Every hypercar is the worst in terms practicality with no exception. It's not a bloody MPV! Every reviewer will tell you that you can daily drive a Veyron easily if you have the cash to back it up (for fuel and maintanance).
+Michael Tarantino Overpriced kitcar that will like the Ultimate Aero be forgotten in another 10 years. Koenigsegg don't even allow people to review their cars anymore, we don't even know if they are any good. No other car comes anywhere near in terms of luxury + performance certainly not Koenigsegg which cant put the power down and even on the video with the concept car known as 'Regera' the One:1 has a fogged up headlight
The 959 was the OG hypercar because it defined what a hypercar is before the term existed. that's how 'first' goes -.part intention, part happy(or not) accidents; result is unprecedented. The 959 was like NASA-level project.
I was a Veryon fan who became a Koenigsegg fan and for some reason, went back to the Veyron. I for some reason, love the looks of this car. I actually like the Veyron’s design better than any Koenigsegg, although Koenigseggs are beautiful too. The Vitesse is my favorite Veyron, and is my favorite car. There are flaws with the Veyron, like the weight and price. But hey, Koenigseggs have flaws too, like the inability to daily drive (except the Regera). I used to hate Bugatti, but they actually became my favorite brand. The Chiron is technically better than the Veyron (and looks better for most people), but I, strangely, like the Veyron more. I feel like the car has so much hate, it’s actually underrated, unlike the stereotype that’s says it’s overrated. This is an excellent video and hopefully more people see it. One last thing, this car, has my favorite sound of any car. Anyway, after praising this car, let the dislikes flow in!
Excellent reviewer, you can feel his passion for cars in every video. Thats exactly what you want from a person reviewing any car, unlike most of these shitty review videos online
David D exactly, couldn't agree more. Xcar should carry this on and turn it into a series. Doing a proper ten minute in depth job on some past and future classics. A change form the norm of drag races and timed laps, I don't want to see that it's old hat. Just a bloke who loves what he's doing belting about in a motor in never likely to see. Future episodes: original zonda, Enzo, any spyker, clio v6, murcielago lp640 etc etc. Make it happen!!!!!
you have a unique way of showing the cars you drive.....I've seen many, many videos on the Veyron but you still managed to give a fresh perspective on it. What a car!!!!! :)
I was lucky enough to see one at the New YOrk auto show. Not that I'll ever buy one but I hope next gen model doesn't require such substantial maintenance costs.
Really amazing video. It just let you think twice, if you want to say, that the Veyron is old, no more relevant and just too heavy. And it let you understand, that maybe - just maybe a car which can be driven effortless and comfortable, but still is the fastest car in the world, is more worth than cars, which are really fast and just amazing on the track.
Yes I have! I always watch all your videos less than 12 hours after they've been uploaded. I was referring to the 2016 redesign of the XF. But then its obvious that the next 5 Series is gonna thrash all these other noobs.
This channel is underrated
agreed.
KillerJay17 very underrated and i love the camera work as well
They are but i think its because the market is so saturated with really big names like Motortrend. Road and Track and Car and Driver. I have said it many many many times, this channel deserves more views. Another great video as usual.
Great video!!! Keep up the good work *****
Agreed...
Luckily they kept up the grind and the quality, and it's paying off :) This is still really good though, looking back!
i really love the way you painted this picture of the bugatti, reinspired a lost love for the thing.

This channel is awesome. Best in its kind with a fabulous array of cars and it doesn't get better than this or the Rolls Royce video
It says "Airbag" on the steering wheel just like my car!
Ehh I always considered the McLaren F1 the first true Hypercar
Djentify This Still is more amazing than the veyron to me.
Djentify This I think it actually is too.
So yeah... We all hate the Veyron. I'm egg fan rite here!!!
Aval Sirithanawat
We don't hate it lol. It just isn't really a hypercar to me its more of a very fast luxury vehicle.

One of the best XCAR videos ever. Fitting Tribute to a legend.
The Veyron will always be a an engineering showpiece.
Awesome video. Nice tribute to the Veyron, and I can't believe it's already been 10 years since it was released!
Nice to see a new Veyron film. Well done. Car still has appeal after 10years. Legend.

The 959 is the first hypercar. It was pushes the technological boundaries of that time period just like the Veyron does with modern times.
Porsche Curves Not mad enough. It's supercar-mad but def not mad enough.

Kaisuke971 Modern AWD systems can thank the 959. Don't think any of the cars you have listed have provided anything near that.
A really great video both in terms of content as well as the aesthetics of the shots - thanks for sharing!

juffurey In person, Veyron actually looks classy.
***** What for?
Still love the Veyron
not in that colour scheme though haha
Ettore Bugatti is such a gourgeus car.
Can Tavukçuoğlu Ettore Bugatti is a person, not a car. ;)
Pietervdv I am talking about the special edition that is named after the Ettore Bugatti.
Can Tavukçuoğlu Oh I see, I guess I missed that one then. So now we have a Ferrari LaFerrari and a Bugatti Ettore Bugatti?
Pietervdv Yes, kind of like that :D
You Koenigsegg and Hennessey Venom fanboys must hate hearing him say what he did at 7:15 - 7:38
+StretchakaKickman Hahaha....well put sir....
+StretchakaKickman We all know Koenigsegg Agera R is faster
Koenigsegg Agera R is NOT production car! Only 20 car to be production car they need 33 car or more
and yes egg faster the bug for now!
Jon Jones Around a track a Bugatti will never be faster
Great tribute to masterpiece of automotive engineering. There are cars faster on track, even more powerful and maybe with greater top speed. But no one has achieved what the Veyron achieved in the 2005. As an engineer, I absolutely love this car.

just when I thought I was totally tired of VW and its special edition circus it calls the Veyron, you get me wanting to know more about it again.
"There are really fast cars, but none of them are fast compared to this" except a koenigsegg
And also something like the Zenvo ST1 maybe
What about Hennessey Venom GT ? Even faster than veyron
Tim Erfurth ofc but I can't name every car lol there's a few more as well
Guinness book of world records, that is all that counts.
Mikhail Pugliano Last time I looked the Koenigsegg didn't do 267mph.
Brilliant video Xcar!
How do i find the music at 2:41 ?
Bugatti Veyron were my baby words when I started to get into cars.❤️

Exceptional commentary and really nice footage. Fantastic take on the Veyron!
Easily the best review of the Veyron I've ever seen.
This is the best XCar video I've seen. Really good presenting and you've made me really appreciate a car that I previously had dismissed.
Not to long ago i discovered this channel and i must say its an excellent channel, the quality of the videos, cameras, the hosts, everything about it is nice im going to say that if they continue making this quality content , they are the next Top Gear.
I've never been a fan of the veyron's looks but the levels of engineering in this car are just mind boggling!
Another great review and reason XCar films IMO, is amongst the very best automotive channels on UA-cam worth subscribing to.
Excellent commentary. Amazing car
probably the best veyron video i've seen to date.
Magnificent! The car and the video are masterpieces.
Thanks again guys. I keep finding myself watching XC over anything else in my subbox.
The quality of film and journalism of this channel is truly outstanding! The word use of the host (sadly don't know the name) is beautiful! Keep it up guys, Im have been and will be a great fan
You guys keep making films that are better than any others on UA-cam. If you had a magazine, I would subscribe to that too...
The Mclaren F1 IS AND ALWAYS WILL BE the first hypercar
Supersnake 93 *supercar , hyper is another level, just like supermodel and oubermodel

Really great video ! Thanks XCARFilms !
Awesome video you do some great work keep it up
Fantastic video guys, XCAR at it's absolute best here!
Thanks for showing a regular guy whom has never even seen one in real life (let alone drive one), fantasise what it would be like =)
Very grateful to you guys for Letting me escape to pure bliss for a few minutes.....
Cheers
a year or two ago I told you you would drive a Veryon remember? I mean I could see it, it was quite obvious. And there you are! achievement accomplished. congratulations to XcarFilms! You guys deserve the best.
Some lovely Clive Mansell in the intro.
God Speed.
What a gorgeous car it is. It has such presence on the road. Really a work of art.
I kniw gotta love that low beattle.
That face when Alex floors it! Great video!
Love the channel, though I still believe that 300SL Coupe that never went into mass production was the first and probably the finest hypercar ever.
Don't forget that the tires are actually glued to the wheels. So it costs about 120,000 dollars alone for the tires and wheels.
Amazing video, it deserves so many more viewers! People don't know what they're missing
Too bad they stopped making this magnificent beasts! These are some of the greatest cars ever!
At its time, it was by mile the best and for me, it still is
Also.. Just watching it go down the track on that world record part is just ridiculous. It is just flying.... How.. How
Another great review.
You're never too late to watch a veyron review. It may not be the fastest anymore. But, it still holds a legendary status.
you sold the shit outta this car
***** when i can afford it yes
I really want one after watching this amazing revisited video on the legendary car !
Truly amazing, never stops to amaze me.
getting goosebumps
***** saw every singer episode, ,love the channel
You guys should be the new trio for Top Gear UK. Young passionate blood for a new era of motor enthusiasts.
Cheers
Great video and a spectacular car!
Koenigsegg might be fast but Bugatti still holds the crown overall. The review ppl give when driving a bugatti shows how good it is, tho its old. Veryon is so old but still beats any hypercar till date.
Great film. Fantastic color combo. Any chance you can get your hands on the EB110? The most underrated and unloved supercar needs some attention.
Man!!!!! that was some videooo... great going guys..
the veyron is a marvellous car indeed, and it deserves credit for being the first hypercar that not only delivered extreme performance, but also luxury and comfort at the same time.
as impressive as it is, i myself would still choose the Carrera GT over any other car
this is a great video, keep them coming, thanks!
To be honest? I still prefer a Koenigsegg over a Veyron. But before people get upset. here's my reasoning for why:
1) Koenigsegg holds it's own respectful records.
(I'll mention the doors later.)
4) Koenigsegg is unique.
The acceleration doesn't feel as good as it does in the Bugatti because the Koenigsegg can't put its power down
+Michael Tarantino I strongly disagree on several points of yours.
+Martin Cerman you know your stuff!
+Michael Tarantino "it looks just like an oversized Beetle"
You got fucked up eyes or something, buddy?
***** Best review I've ever seen
perfect....I could feel the genuine passion and mind blowing out of it
The 959 was the OG hypercar because it defined what a hypercar is before the term existed. that's how 'first' goes -.part intention, part happy(or not) accidents; result is unprecedented. The 959 was like NASA-level project.
Here'w my 10 favorite Hypercars
1. 2003 Porsche Carrera GT
2. 2011 Bugatti Veyron SuperSport
3. 2013 Lamborghini Veneno
4. 2006 Koenigsegg CCX
5. 2013 Ferrari LaFerrari
6. 2013 McLaren P1
7. 2002 Ferrari Enzo
8. 2004 Maserati MC12
9. 1993 McLaren F1
10. 2014 Porsche 918 Hybrid Spyder
I like your taste
I would say Zonda instead of Veneno, but 'tis a good list nonetheless.
Clyde Donovan lol Veneno is not a hypercar. Its just a slightly tuned ugly body kit Aventador
Clyde Donovan lol Veneno a hypercar? Its a fucking Aventador with a bodykit, also the CarerraGT and Enzo were in SuperCar catagory
***** No worries , keep up the great work you guys do :)
Great spec. The WE SS is my second favorite spec Veyron.
you have a unique way of showing the cars you drive.....I've seen many, many videos on the Veyron but you still managed to give a fresh perspective on it. What a car!!!!! :)
I beg to differ. The original hypercar is the McLaren F1.
@@velkoto1 No... racing cars don't have luggage space.
Great film Xcar!
great work boys!!! keep em coming
I was lucky enough to see one at the New YOrk auto show. Not that I'll ever buy one but I hope next gen model doesn't require such substantial maintenance costs.
Your presentation skills are excellent. Richard Hammond level
Well done sir Alex, you're the best!!
What is that music called by 2:42
great video, great presenter
Now the question is what is next for them
The best car channel< Bar None!
yes yes yes, I've been waiting for a proper good bye to what people r forgetting possibly the greatest car ever,
I am eagerly anticipating your review on the new Jaguar XF.
Yes I have! I always watch all your videos less than 12 hours after they've been uploaded. I was referring to the 2016 redesign of the XF. But then its obvious that the next 5 Series is gonna thrash all these other noobs.
I was 21 in 2005. Getting old lol
Excellent review, cannot wait for you to get hold of 918 and La Ferrari.
Stunning review.
