I guess it was a combination of using the advice of people who have done the job before and luck re the rear subframe bolts. You will be pretty "chuffed" when the new subframe is in and any repairs done. Enjoying following your progress. Cheers, Midge

Heh, I'll be trying to do this on mine soon. Noticed some big ol' rust holes behind the driver's side wheel today...
Oh no 👎 fingers crossed its a smallish job
@@WilliamMurfitt I should probably clarify, the rust holes are in the subframe, so the subframe unfortunately has to be replaced.
@@MatroxMillennium i just hope the panels are ok or it could turn into a big job
@@WilliamMurfitt Oh, for sure. The rear end body panels look okay from what I can see, but I have some rust along the sides and in front that I'll have to deal with soon...

It's off at least.. must admit for the weight reason I stripped as much as subrame in situe as possible.. think when I put it back I will reverse what I did.. these nights are too warm lol
I wish the nights were warm now! it's so cold in the garage my body freezes and i can't function out there.
