The difference between Arrowhead and Dodger Stadium is Arrowhead gets more rain and freeze/thaw cycles. Yes, Dodger Stadium has earthquakes to worry about but how many snowstorms does LA get?
My Bills are getting a new stadium, the third since 1960. The first was built in the 1930’s, then came the current stadium that opened in 1973. The current stadium was a budget build after someone wanted to build a domed multipurpose stadium patterned after the Astrodome. Part of the problem in Jackson county is that it's already one of the highest taxed counties in Missouri, and many people are struggling to put food on the table under this administration. So who in their right mind is going to vote to be taxed even more for mere entertainment? Especially since all it does is fill the pockets of the billionaire owners and other wealthy elites even more. The current stadium is fine. It has no problems doing what it was designed and built to do, and has done for many years now, which is...host football games. It's the elites and a select few fans that always want more and better...as long as someone else is going to pay for it. **rolls eyes** While the rest that don't live for football (a mere game) want to keep their money for actual life stuff. You want it, YOU pay for it. If they leave, they leave.

Jackson county isn't poor (by most county standards), and doesn't need any sports team to be able to flourish more, it just needs better management of the already gross amount of tax money already coming in. If this country keeps going like it is, spending money on mere sporting and recreational activity will quickly be a thing of the past when people's credit cards are full and their bellies are empty. :(

@@michaelmarkowski204 The Royals are in a much more dire situation. There is no way they can stay at Kauffman. The Chiefs can possibly stay at Arrowhead. The owners of the Chiefs have a lot more money and and the team makes more money than the Royals.
It make some sense to renovate Arrowhead (although a new stadium would make more long term sense). The location of Kauffmann is just terrible for baseball and is one reason they draw so poorly during weekdays. The bigger problem with Kauffman is that it will need a billion dollars just to keep it going for another 20-30 years and it's just not worth putting that kind of money into that stadium in that location. There is no ROI. If the Royals don't get a new stadium, they are likely leaving KC.

OK, DG, another failed research video. The proposal in the KS Legislature was last minute and the committee that needed to have a hearing to allow it to be voted on the House floor had already adjourned for the year. But the odds are strong that Gov. Kelly will be calling the Leg. back for a special session for other tax questions. Once they’re back in session, the Leg. can pass any bill they want. This rendering was nothing more than an example for the Leg., not anything close to what it will be when built. The Chiefs had no say or input in this rendering. Kansas also wanted to get their foot in the door to let both teams know Kansas is open to both of them. According to MO law, JACo, MO cannot bring the issue back for a vote for 12 months after the issue was last voted on.
Don’t forget the new college football playoff will add more games, such as the CFP championship game! Plus KC could host a bowl game.

As a backup they would go to NKC in Clay County, Missouri, right across from downtown. The Chiefs are more likely to end up in Kansas but it’s still unlikely. The want to remain at Arrowhead and new stadium talk is a leverage play, imo.

The Cowboys are the richest professional sports franchise in the world and there's no way Jerry or the NFL would ever allow any barriers to the Cowboys making as much money as possible. I see this posted in every video about this and it just needs to stop. It's never going to happen. There is exactly one place the Chiefs can realistically move to that the other NFL owners would vote to allow and it's the Kansas side of Kansas City.

One of the guys that designed aligent stadium grew up in suburban Kansas City KS and graduated Shawnee mission east so his firm did a rendering to help pitch the idea. You also say soldier field randomly when it doesn't fit the context. Everything you're saying is just nonsense at that point you're not understanding what's going on.
