I love Fremont area! I love that there's about 12 casinos all really close/walking distance. I love the live nusic. Love the old vintage feel. I'm not into the Strip. Fremont all day👌

I love Downtown! Stay and play there 4x a year. Good food, shorter lines, better payback. Uber to strip for shows. F1 “decor” trashed the strip and I can never understand why the escalators are always out of service.
One of the best things about the Fremont Street area is Pizza Rock. Oh man that pizza is GOOD !
Love downtown it’s very vintage. It’s been renovated tremendously since 1994, when I moved here. It’s worth visiting
Fremont is great in the summer with the shade. The strip is all jacked up from F1. More fun on Fremont anyway.

You cannot sit anywhere on Fremont Street, which is BS. I like to sit and rest for a bit, but they have no seats!
They don’t want homeless laying around.
We haven’t been to lv in 13-14 years but we came to gamble so Fremont was the place to go, back then way bettef slots then strip and had 1 dollar black jack, 2 dollar cross with 20x odds, no 6/5 or triple 000 bs, el Cortez, plaza, Fitzgerald ( whatever it is now) were great and you had a legit shot yo win. I also like Fitzgerald cause they had a little tiny pool no one ever went to, you could swim, sit out, listen to music, it was in the back away from the noise, good to take a break after my wife would shoot through 75percent of our allotment on the first day. Golden gate too, and even the golden nugget was better than strip with the strip feel. And if you dared to walk past the bus stops outside Fremont there was a lot of good, at least decent, restaurants for cheap. Looks a little different on this upload but still pretty close to same, a lot less gentrified in downtown for sure.
After a miserable experience of winning/losing/tilting at the Strip, I’m trying downtown for my birthday; hopefully I’ll have a better outcome!
Great video! We always make it to downtown when we are in Vegas. We walk around in the early morning and grab a coffee and cheap breakfast at Binions! Usually buy at least one coffee mug in the souvenir shop!

Yes the diner (Dupars) at Golden Gate - was awesome I think my first time at Dupars was around 2006 and I took friends in 2014 - The area was under alot of construction in 2014 looks much better overall now! Barry from AZ thanks Jason!

Freemont is the best if you want to gamble. If you and the kids want to look at everything please stay on the strip. People want the perks and don't gamble have ruined it for everyone else.

CIRCA gave me a bad experience. They scan your ID as you walk through the door. The only casino i have experienced that at. Why are they doing that? I played some slots and afterwards started taking a video of the casino floor with my phone and a employee started waving her arms at me to stop. I felt it was rude .
Sorry, to hear that. Video recording at table games is typically frowned upon. The I D scan weeds out criminals it's more of a safety factor.

We love downtown! Most bang for your buck. Plenty of gambling and relatively cheap eats. Way cheaper than the strip.

I've been avoiding downtown since 2013 because I refuse to pay for parking. Spent all afternoon at Binion's casino and they hit me with a surprise $4.50 parking charge on departure. Spent four-and-one-half hours there, and the voucher was good for only two. Haven't set foot anywhere downtown since then.

I agree! Never going back. I come here every few weeks for family and work on the South part of Vegas, I will never go back downtown!
I agree the parking fees are not good. But I will not stop going for that. Las Vegas is changing and charging for things that are used to motivate people to go to their casinos. But I will still go but keep to my gambling budget with the minus of resort fees parking fees and overpriced food.

I went there for cheap shrimp cocktails. That’s a long time ago. Fremont is no longer about the light shows. It’s about the characters trying to scam you. Anyways, the free band shows and Circa look good. I just think it’s more of locals hangout. Once you’re on the Strip, it’s hard to break away for a separate trip.

Don’t care for Fremont, place is dirty. Circa only spot worth visiting.
Fremont still needs a lot of work though. The El Portal building is still abandoned and there is some stupid crap being build there and the building across the D with the souvenir store is ugly as hell. So is the tattoo shop across the 1st stage near the cowboy sign.
