Update guys. Turns out Ryan’s parents owned the hotel and passed away leaving the hotel to him, locals say he disappeared after losing the hotel but he has been spotted in the hotel at night…so the footsteps I heard in there could infact have been Ryan all grown up and stalking the hallways.. terrifying
So it might be his food in the one fridge and he forgot to eat it now spoiled.
Maybe that is what was behind one of the locked doors. Ryan
@@chrismaraccini8108 I was thinking also he keeps his personal belongings in the locked room and possibly lives there at times or permanently though I would think the kitchen would be cleaner if he did.
He could make phone calls stay warm keep cook food have as many drinks as he wants just not impressive to the girls unless she likes decay.
@@RetroCaptain But when you think about it with his parents dying, it is very sad.
I'm from this town, I'm pretty sure he still lives in there, he used to live in the main bar area as the rest of the place was condemned. it's crazy to think when I was around 14 it was still "running" watched it fall apart over the years 😥
I’m not going to lie, if I was homeless I would live in some of these houses you have shown.. I would clean up a bedroom and a bathroom and live my best life ❤
Me too!!!!
Until angry 20 somethings come in to vandalize it.
yes i was thinking the same 😂Think this place is not very far from me ....
Me to!
You do not want to live here. I live here and it's not the best place
Videos like this absolutely boil my blood......there is no need for pathetic vandalism, smashing things, graffiti on the place, by all means explore places out of curiosity but leave it how you find it. That's why I have alot of respect for adam marks because even if he looks at something, he always puts it back in the same place. Keep smashing out the amazing videos adam ❤ from sheffield
Completely agree with you and it annoys the hell out of me that idiots who feel every building that becomes empty needs to be vandalised.
what idiots set about vandalising and setting these places on fire
@@jane9875The usual anarchists. They have no respect for anyone or anything.
Yes makes my blood boil too complete morons go in and trash it for what ? No respect these days whatsoever !
I agree with you there is no reason for these teenagers to do this their parents need to teach them some respect
Gives meaning to the saying
"The lights are on but nobody's home."
Yes 😊 and that saying was also in a country song 😁
We live opposite here and although fascinating to see, please can I urge people to stay out? This has an unusual story and is still owned, and we believed sometimes still occupied by the owner - so you have been through what is left of their home, which is why you would find power on and their things in some the rooms. It was still open for visitors. just about, when I moved here in 2011/2012. There was a job advert in the window for a handyman to try and help patch it back up around then. I believe owner's personal circumstances changed tragically sometime after this, which is why it started to deteriorate as the lad that inherited would have difficulties knowing how to cope or what to do. Please, please, please folks, this isn't fully abandoned and still someone's home.
@Studiocommers, Can the town not help the owner cleanup.the property, even a volunteer group? Its heartbreaking
@@carolmac5944 ......
It really is and a volunteer group is a great idea. It would give some people something to do..
Its such a lovely place enjoyed the video tour thankyou for that
I’ve wondered what the consequences would be for going into a privately owned, though appearing to be derelict, home. Here in the states if someone wandered into a home occupied by the wrong type person, the consequences would be hefty. Many have a shoot first mentality. I enjoy the videos but wouldn’t dare go into a place like this.
It's great that you always give the back story of the explores; it adds the essential human element to what you are showing us.
When I was young I used to explore abandoned buildings. I never vandalized anything. I was raised to have respect for others.
Adam...what a great find! Looks like you guys really enjoyed the explore. The contrast between pristine, "frozen in time" rooms with working phones, electricity and televisions but yet ivy growing in the windows, pigeons, bird crap and the token creepy ass dolls is FASCINATING! One of my favs to date. Well done!!
It's been way too long since I've seen this Adam. The one that's happy and excited. The one that looks like he's really enjoying himself. For the 1st time in way too long I actually enjoyed watching your video. In fact this is the first I've watched till the end in months. I really needed to see that joy. The way you are when you're really enjoying looking at a place. This is the Adam that made me want to start watching your channel.💗
I felt it. Had a lot going on last few months needed a good explore like this
This explore was amazing, I'm sorry but you just crack me up, seeing dolls and the birds, the things you say are priceless. Thank you for taking us on your adventures completly enjoy. ❤ from 🇨🇦
How can it be left like this when there’s so many ex servicemen homeless they would probably help do the place up just so they had somewhere to live x
I was smiling through this whole video. You were filled with excitement, enthusiasm, & glee like a kid in a candy shop. A joy to watch this one.
Wow!! What a fantastic place. I wish we could see photos from back in the day. Thank you Adam and Matt for sharing this piece of history. Be safe and take care. Love from Arizona. 😁
Adam you and your friend need to be very careful in the hotel. No one is getting any notifications about any new videos on UA-cam channel.
I would love to have the doll on the ironing board.
@@shannonreeves8815 I'd rather have the ironing board. Hi from Wisconsin, U.S.A.
Listing a building is an absolute nightmare they would rather watch the building turn to ruins than help people refurbish those properties crazy ,love your channel my dude
I love all your shows especially the ones with Matt.
That was absolutely fantastic. What a place! The bar with all the overgrown vegatation was surreal. Plus dolls, smelly fridges and pigeons. Loved it!
I used to work here in 1985 it was Owned by Mr and Mrs Rapps then. I lived in Tywyn, it was a beautiful hotel and enjoyed working there then. I hope it can be made into an hotel again. I worked on reception and waited on in an evening. Lovely days. Lovely to see inside it again.
Absolutely loved this venture. Didn't want it to end so much to see! Thanks guy's it was great!
Adam Mark I really do want to thank you for this video
Such a big building is worth restoring and being used
I live in the town… rumour has it that Ryan still lives in the building! Usually recycling bins full outside when it’s bin day. And that the lights are always on
I don't know about it being Ryan. I'm sure he moved into another place that his parents left him aswell as my uncle knows him.
That’s actually creepy as
@@AdamMark from what I can gather adam, the place closed fully in 2008/2009 as by 2005 it was hardly doing any business and struggling, so since 2009 it's been just totally left with nothing done to it or no attempt to save it, so that's 14 years of nature taking it back. The last of us comments made laugh, let's just hope know clickers are in there with their superb hearing.
I will never buy a piano or a pool table, haha... What I absolutely love and find valuable, which both turn up lots in these places, are mirrors and books:). Thanks guys for another mega video & Sunday morning seeing you both!
Hi Adam, my wife and I (70 + 60 yrs old 😉), wait impatiently for Sunday’s episodes to be published. Though we rarely comment, we really enjoy them. My only slight criticism of this one, is your choice of editing with nano second splits (best way I can describe them), which does seem to be the trend followed by many UA-camr’s at the moment. Have to say, we don’t like it, preferring your previous format. That said, being a small UA-camr myself, I really do appreciate all the time and effort you put into producing these videos, for us to enjoy. Keep up the good work.
Absolutely heartbreaking to see it like this. This played a big part in my childhood, friends birthday parties, there was a club at one point I think where we spent a lot of time in the garden.
What was it called?
The Corbett Arms
Adam Adam Adam!!! Absolutely fantastic!!! You are an amazing tour guide!!! Wish I were there!! Lucky you!!!!!
One of your best yet. I get a real hoot out of your commentary, much enjoy watching your channel.
This has to be one of my favourite explores of yours! Seeing you loving it and buzzing is fab… Absolutely brilliant find!! ♥️🙌🏼
Such an amazing explore. I so enjoyed it.
What a fabulous hotel can't believe the lights were still on And the phones were working and the TV really enjoyed this explore 😁
I wish they would preserve most this history from the past
Amazing explore. Unbelievable that the electricity is still hooked up. Just love exploring with you. There were beautiful pieces of furniture you pointed out. Always a pleasure to hear you describe the beauty. ❤
this place is unreal. it would have been so posh in its day i rekon. shame on you Adam for shutting that door on the pigeon, so it couldnt get out. poor thing. great find - thanks for exploring and showing us this amazing place
Ive seen someone else investigate the place, but with you and Matt i get to see things I haven’t seen. With the Adam sense of humor and matts happy personality this was great!!!As always thank you.
Hi guys...it's so pity to see this hotel in that condition, I watched a channel about John Lennon and his wife journeys. This hotel was just closed, and the reporters did video inside in the room John likes to stay in always. I really enjoyed this video😊thank you, Adam, and Mark
Enjoyed this amazing explore👍♥️
A lovely place with quite a bit of history. As you said 'Grade 2 listed' so for insurance being a must the electricity has to be kept on and security checked on a ? Regular basis. This if renovated and preserved could be made into private apartments but would cost a fortune, sadly not many people are able to afford to save buildings like this. Great explore Adam, thank you for sharing. Say hi to Lisa, hipe she is well. 💕🇦🇺
This is an absolute epic of an explore. Just think of all the hotel guests that have passed through there back in its day. Wished the explore went longer😁. Very intrigued by comments especially by locals saying Ryan may still be there. Thats sad and creepy. Great explore. Well done. 🖒
Such an amazing explore mate, really enjoyed this one 👌👊
stayed there twice for a week each time in 2001 as respite from a recent health diagnosis. it was out of season and the "overlook hotel" vibe was just what i needed. tywyn and the corbett arms were as deserted as the beach, sea and sky were massive - what a place/great video
Love your explores, your so informative on the building etc, you and Matt have such good banter too, best team for explores makes my Sunday. 😊
The playground was so cool too! You made me loudly laugh more times than even usual in this one “ unless it’s another pidgeon coming to finish me off” 🤣
Thoroughly enjoyed this one! Thank you Adam and Matt, you've made my week!
This place was amazing!! Can't believe the electricity was still on lol. But even more the phones were still on lol. That blew my mind lol!! Awesome investigation!!
I look forward to seeing your channel every Sunday this one was great to think who will pay for the electricity bill all these years 😀 well done guys keep up the good work
Ya had to be on pigeon patrol but this is the most epic hotel I've ever seen. You and matt rock! Thank you for the tour Adam it was amazing! ❤❤❤
Such a great building. Sad that nothing can be done with it bc of all the red tape. Thank you for sharing this!!
An excellent video. So eerie how everything just left. You made me laugh 'This is better than the bar I worked in'.
Great explore Adam and you're narration is brilliant 👍 thanks for posting ☀️
Loved this place. I appreciate your time that you put into these explores, taking me places I never knew existed. Thank you!! x
This makes me feel sad
Once beautiful hotel
Just sitting there to rot away
The ‘Queen Victoria’ photo is most likely from the Victorian Week event that was (possibly still is) run by the nearby Talyllyn Railway. When the hotel was open many of the volunteers from said railway used to socialise in the bar.
A great explore. It does look like it won’t be rescued given the way things are decaying and the cost to restore which is pretty sad. I’m definitely calling my new band ‘Wilhelm Spaghetti’
Thanks for showing us around it was great 👍 👌 😊
Amazing explore as usual. Pity that building has been left to decay! Enjoyed this 😊
The piano is by Wilhelm Spaethe (not pronounced Spaghetti 😅, that was so funny), a German manufacturer of musical instruments from Gera in Eastern Germany, founded in 1858. They stopped making instruments in the 1950s so the piano is at least 70 years old. Thanks for the great explore 🙂
NEVER disappointed Adam!! Such a wonderful weekly treat!! ❤
Missed the basement, but the outside was nice to see.. That was a bustling hotel at onetime. I wonder if it has any spirits. Maybe you can check it out. Great explore. Be careful. See you next week. Ellen from Arkansas USA.
That hotel is awesome. I'm very surprised that the TV and the phones still work. That is so cool.
I lived here before I joined the army in 2001-2002 used to hate locking up and closing the bar at night … the hairs would always be standing up and used to run to my room. Full of history and spirits in that place!
Terrible waste letting it go.Great video thanku
Dude, that is absolutely awesome, i'd absolutely love to explore someplace like that, the UK has got some amazing history!!!!
Fantastic one Adam and Matt, you obviously enjoyed it as much as we did 👍, keep showing us more like this one perhaps with some more cat balls etc if they have no electric 😀
Loving all your adventures Mark...Your so entertaining love all your history on your finds ...And your ghost hunting is brilliant....Stay safe out there....best wishes from Scotland x
Hello Lorraine ❤ your name. ❤ from nagaland 🇮🇳
I'm from around this village, and the two parents died and left it to their disabled son. The son continued to live there for a few years before it was uninhabitable. To this day, it is still owned by the son.
Such a shame, would be lovely if a investor could put money into the place, restore the hotel to its former glory (let Ryan live in a room like staff quaters) an employ him at the hotel, so not only would the hotel be used again and many more memories created it would be amazing to have it back to being amazing sort of as his parents legacy 👍, ❤ to Tywyn from sheffield
So sad.
Does Ryan still live there then? Most people believe he does, bless him
Great explore just like the good old days.
Fabulous, what a lovely place, such a shame it cannot be saved , great explore ❤
😮 it's Very Beautiful ❤️. I love 💞 the colour scheme, very lovely.😊. I like our tours into abandoned buildings. Thankyou Adam, that was Amazing.
Hey Adam hope u well luv watching ur channel just thought to remind u to have a look for secret passages in these old places coz majority of them had them lol. Keep safe xxxx
What a great explore..... They all are! Love your channel Adam 😊
Great vid lads 🙌🏼
I loved Room 1 the bathroom actually looked clean. What a great explore
Last stayed there around 2001, and did some boiler repairs or something (can’t quite remember) around 2010. I’m sure a hotel chain surveyed it around that time and it was deemed to expensive to repair. It’s a very sad story about Ryan and his family.
Idn if there is away to contact someone but the power needs to be cut off before a fire finishes off this beautiful historic place! Great video
They leave the electricity on in the hopes that it burns down. Shame because it was a beautiful place. Thanks as always xxx
Thank you guys xxx
loved this one ... and Adam you made me literally laugh out loud. "Pigeon poop smells like someone just farted inside your mouth"! And the screaming during the bird attack & walking through the webs in the doorway. You guys hunt spirits and take crazy risks that none us would & it's so funny to see you both spooked
Lmfao, that was great!
Thank you so much, Adam. That was a great hotel in the bird I couldn't help but laugh when that pigeon, that is just too funny.😂
So Beautiful and sad it's going to waste 🥺
Another AWESOME Find Adam! Thank you so much for all your endeavors 💯👍
I am absolutely love this place too, it’s interesting to see abandoned of an old hotels , back in the day it’s must be beautiful and cosy , sad to see it turned out to be this way, I think homeless people have been living in there at one point, thank you for sharing
Last time I was in there was around 2003-2005. It was becoming quite run down. Not many people in there. Gave me the creeps to be honest
Thank you Adam for bringing this one to us. I love watching your explores, especially with Matt. Keep up the good work!
I agree Adam and Matt are the best team!
Brilliant explore Adam thank you so much 👍
Oh!!!! I loved every second watching this tonight I didn’t want you to stop filming!! I would absolutely love your job!! Love seeing the derelict buildings, this one tonight was so fascinating, just wonder who is paying the electric and phone lines??? Normally get cut of if bills are not paid? Loved it !!😊😘
G'day Adam Mark & Matt, I'm watching on UA-cam from all the way down under 🇦🇺 😊
Love the video! It is too bad they couldn't save the hotel and put it to good use (like Senior Citizen home or low-income apartments). Did you have a chance to explore the basement like you mentioned?
Absolutely LOVE your channel adam💯💯💯 i can’t get enough of your videos!!🤗👏🏽♥️
Can't believe it Still has electricity. Mad!
So cool!! Thank you for sharing
What an amazing place. I can't believe that the electricity 😳 is still on. I bet that it was a pretty place back in the day. Stay safe 👌 👍 🙏 ❤ 💓 💙
If I was homeless what a place to live. It really looks like it hasn't been deserted to many years.
That's so cool to bad it's left to fall apart.
Thanks for the tour.
Boy that would be creepy if he was living there. Maybe thats why the power was on. Love to have seen the basement. Cool video Adam. Cant wait till the next one
'was like someone farted in my mouth then ';' lol lol what a laugh and a gasp everytime something was working like tv etc and attack of that pigeon .was laughing all way though this really made my day great watch
Such a great explore. Mark you made me laugh when the pigeons got after you. It is such a shame all the beautiful furniture is just going down with the hotel. I am surprised the hotel is not filled with a lot of homeless people, especially since the power is on, which means there would be heat and a warm bed. I loved the explore. Stay safe guys.
Wonderful🐼💖👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
That was 1 amazing place...wow out of this world...I would love to go and have a look round it...x
Hi Adam , lived in a Hotel in Frome Somerset, it was a shelter home after the hotel closed down. It was famous for the penny bar. Very haunted town, worth a visit. Love your vids, keep them coming.👍
Great explore 😊
Another Awesome find ❣️🥰 Y'all stay safe , I think the pigeons are more dangerous than some of y'all's haunted places, but so awesome ❣️ You Rock ❤️
