Always have loved this song! I have been a fan of Mr, Mathis since the early 70's. I have seen him in concert many times...Impeccable singer! He gets to your heart and soul! He was given a special gift from God! 🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶
If people only knew the goodness and purity of Johnny Mathis music they would not indulge in some of the dark entertainment of this world. This is beautiful.
God definitely gave Johnny Mathis the gift to sing! Perfect ! This song can never be denied that he was made to sing this song! Don't think NO one else can do a better job !
My wife and I danced to this on our first date and then it was our first dance together at our wedding reception. No one sings it better than Johnny Mathis. A simply gorgeous song from the musical, "A Chorus Line."
This wonderful man didn't have to act, dance or be some sexy male, even though he was, he was just himself, and that's more than enough! He's just the most talented man, being himself. I'm proud he was around most of my life. You are, Wonderful, Wonderful. Joe's wife.
God only blesses a few each generation with a voice and talent like Johnny Mathis. Fortunately I’ve seen him in person 5 times and mesmerized is the best description I can think of to explain how it felt. Karen Carpenter who I saw live produced that same sensation. I just feel sad for my grandchildren because their generation’s idea of music has degraded to its lowest form perhaps in history. So sad.
I remember when Johnny was putting on a lot of albums in the 60s 60s and he was like one dressed in all white and he looked like perfection and his sound was the same perfection God blessed him as a performer and as a person and there's only one is it and
Johnny, Jack Jones and Englebert Humperdinck as far as the men are concerned perform to song with grace and elegance. Check out the lady performers- Eydie Gorme and Shirley Bassey- Excellent!
Johnny Mathis was fiercely protective of his private life. He wanted his love songs to be everybody's love songs. He was a singer first, a black man second, a gay man third. He was a SINGER indeed. The rest is secondary: I've known plenty of gay people, plenty of black people, but only ONE Johnny Mathis.
A concert video called Chances Are. Guest stars were Patti Austin and the Gatlin Brothers. Don't know if retrievable anywhere. Good luck it's a great show!
Shi I have the DVD live in Chicago but this is different I just looked even his bow tie please let me know yours says a& e but we're do you know it was filmed can I get on DVD or do you have to post ? I will pay you if you can upload it but if you can then I can copy on my computor thank u

I just watched an excerpt from a concert he did in October. At almost 90, his voice is still beautiful. I love this man.

Absolutely true.
Why do people get drawn to the horrid "music" and lyrics in today's songs when Johnny is there with so much beauty?
TRUTH.
Wow beautiful what a voice and still charming after all these years Johnny will always be the best singer of all time ♥️

Known for contortion but unless he forgot the words a superb singer.
Not even a close match to the original ..
So what? Doesn’t have to be. It’s Johnny Mathis.
