So pretty! Id love to go here just for the decorations alone. It's fun to see they have several individual shops and restaurants with their own menus. There are so many yummy items to choose from ! :)
I used to walk past this place all the time when I lived in Tokyo. I lived in the next area along the line from Jiyugaoka, called Midorigaoka. I went to Sweets Forest with a load of friends shortly after I arrived in Japan, then never went back again, but I always wished I could have gone before I returned to the UK xD
Oh my god! Sweets Forest! This place was featured on one of the old TV Shows back in 2004 'Ya Ya Yah: 愛Q劇場 Corner' hosted by the Johnny's Entertainment! Which featured the junior boy bands: Ya Ya Yah, J.J.Express & NEWS! XD Awesome! I didn't think this place still exists!
Gosh, 自由が丘 is so close to my house! Perhaps I should bring my wife there one of these days. BTW the strawberry montblanc looked like something with Mentaiko sprinkled on :)
Rachel & Jun Extra hey Rachel do you think you will go there again and maybe do a video of all the food available so we can see my daughter is very interested.
Tania LoNero Sorry, I don't think I'll be able to. :( It's in Tokyo for one, and in Tokyo it's kind of out of the way and costs too much to travel to. >_
YEA! Sailor Moon! My 1st experience of Japanese Anime! Happy Memories! I introduced my little kids to Japanese Anime with Sailor Moon! They love Japanese Anime to this day!
It made me hungry now! Oww everything looks so good ... I wan to taste!!! There's also a lot of store with French names, that's funny! Quite useful if you can't read japanese ahah
Hello! Thank you for the video, I'm gonna make sure I can visit this place when I go to Japan this summer! Also, um, i'm kind of writing a bachelor's final on japanese equality and I wanted to ask your thoughts on the matter? I'm gonna be doing multiple interviews with people while I'm over there, but getting to know about your experience would be so helpful! Rock on, you guys!
I always wonder how asian sweets, is compare to the rest of the world, the best sweets comes from Europe, but here in america most of our sweets is full of weird chemicals that make them last longer than their suppose to, like ice-cream and chocolate that doesn't melt in the sun, I hope japan isn't doing that.
jason4275 There are still preservatives here, especially in things like combini food and super market ready-to-go foods. No matter where you are I guess making your own food is the best way to eat healthy!
lizhiwen20 YES and I've never really gotten used to it. haha I just try to push past the uncomfortable-ness and do it anyway! Kind of a suck it up and just do it thing. I almost always end up not filming enough, though, because I want to put the camera away as soon as possible.
Rachel & Jun lizhiwen20 I used to shoot all my videos with my phone until I got a proper video camera recently. It never occurred to me with a phone it's much less obvious that you're filming, but with a video camera there's no doubt. Much more awkward.
Fox Village
Cat Island
Sweets Forest
no wonder why i consider japan to be my #1 place to visit.
+euniceerica Don't Japan also have a Bunny Island?
kimchi gerbil

This looks so nice! Love that it's open year round!

Just curious, what camera brand and model are you using?
That looked like broccoli on the pie at 0:40. Can you make a cake with that?

Do you feel awkward holding a giant camera talking to yourself? How do you get used to it?
lizhiwen20 YES and I've never really gotten used to it. haha
I just try to push past the uncomfortable-ness and do it anyway! Kind of a suck it up and just do it thing. I almost always end up not filming enough, though, because I want to put the camera away as soon as possible.

BunniesAtHome Yeah it is! haha

BunniesAtHome It's a DSLR. Awesome video quality but a little too pricey for me.
i wish we had this here :(
... anyone else think about that Detective Conan episode with the log cake...?
Now I want sweets
Well I'm off to bake
Also some cakes need alot of skill time and expensive ingredients.
I wish I was in Japan...
I just can't understand..how most of the Japanese are thin , yet they're so big on sweets & sweet shops? 🍦🍭🍬🤔
I love your videos, but I'm really curious: why did you stop blurring other people's faces?
Salander9277 We still do! On the rare occasion I have forgotten before, but in this video no one really seemed recognizable.

Oh I see. Thanks :)
Why is all the writing on cake in English?
Lydia Lilly Using English words and phrases on stuff is kind of trendy thing to do. Or maybe it's kitschy, I don't know, but they do it a lot.
DeplorableBird Oh right, yeah that makes sense. Thats cool.
Christmas us a Western tradition the Japanese are copying
I'm so confused as to why it's Christmas
If I go I would've become bankrupt
2:24 that's not how you write dessert in French T_T (yeah I know who cares)
15.000 yen .... WTF
