Catnip was probably mellowing the dog. It's one of the few things that are polar opposites for cats and dogs. Whilst it stimulates cats, it sedates dogs.

I'm 22 and I still hang out with children. (They're usually children of family friends so I've known them ever since they were born - when I was a teenager. Though random children also seem to really like me too, so I'm pretty good with children which is one of the reasons why I'm an Elementary Education Major.)

Spitzes are very sweet and sociable. We also have a Japanese spitz and he loves everyone, and rushes to meet strangers during walks.
They are also one of the smartest dog types. They can literally invent complex solutions to problems without any help. Our boy, Alex, learned to use the door-stopper leg with a spring on as a doorknob to tell us when he wants to get back in for example.
This pup was so calm! What a good boy. I wish more dogs had this type of energy.

Last month, my dad's cat was killed by his neighbor's dog. Be careful to not leave big dogs and cats together unless you know the dog is passive.
persimmon I brought home a lab/pit mix, and my cats, who don’t like each other, charged t dog and picked a size of his muzzle too hang from. The dog learned in under a minute to respect the old queens. Now the cats rub on him, and he doesn’t know what to do!
A cat got into our yard once and my dogs killed it. Genuinely one of the most traumatizing moments of my teenage years lol. Keep your cats inside, people! They can climb fences remember!

I understand Rachel's confusion when she forgot how to pet dog. I had a dog when I was really young and after he passed we got cats. After years of having cats I literally dont remember how to pet dogs. Everytime I run across one and I go to pet the good doggo I'm just like ???? How do I do this again???
