Here in the US the triple 2 is a very underrated round. I hear a lot of comments about how accurate it is but few videos on it. It used to be the top round for bench shooting. The .223 gets the spot light and it is not as accurate a round as the triple 2. Very few hunting videos using the triple 2 here in the US even though it is very capable. I prefer my Remington 700 BDL triple 2 to my Savage .223 and .22-250 when it comes to accuracy. Shorter range than the other two .22 centerfires but it is a much more capable round than it is given credit for. Thanks for sharing.

I know this is 10 months old but if you're still in the market the old Tikka M55 is an excellent rifle in 222rem also. Sako Vixen is lovely too. Very collectible in some places too.
It's all about the bullet not the caliber. Right bullet and the wound chanel would be the same with an 22lr or 338lm if you take it in % for the power of the round

I got myself a sabatti in 222rem and from 0 to 300m I must say that it is super accurate

nasty wound,in spain we have banned the 223,we can only use the 222 on semiauto rifles.
