We're avid viewers of Film Booth. Imagine our surprise when we found out we were randomly featured! Fun fact, we literally used information from this channel to create the thumbnails that were referenced. Thanks for all of the great tutorials!
Checking in a year later, you are doing awesome!
Literally every bit of advice you give from your UA-cam channel has worked for growing my brand new channel. I feel like I wouldn’t have the momentum I have without you. Very grateful! Thank you!
Great to hear!
Without knowing anything about Legos... Love your thumbnails and enjoyed your videos!
@@MatthewBHoth Wow! Thank you so much!
This is the one UA-cam channel where every video helps me.
Just looked at your channel. Looks really professional! Did you make all of the graphics and effects yourself?
I’m so glad you came back, you doing exactly what we need which is comparison analysis. To breakdown someone else’s mistake and discuss how to fix it allows us to understand what are the mistakes to look out for before we move forward. Nothing but value here. Thank you
“sell them the dream” wonderfully helpful video, Ed thank you! I’m excited to take these tips and apply them my business education channel.
More of this style video please. It's really chill to watch, I would watch this for a couple hours every week tbh.
700 people applying? Yipes....Glad I didn't bother you with my trivia.
Well done to you! That was a lot of work to help others!
an hour ago, this thumbnail clearly said 6% without pixelation blur. well done. im witnessing a/b testing changes in real time
I thought you were gone. I'm happy to see you again.
Me too!
Me three...
me four lol
Me 5
Me 6 🤩
Thank you so much, Film Booth! Your videos are incredible. They give me so much motivation (and the necessary tools) to grow on UA-cam
These reviews are SO exciting for me 😭, actually all your videos are!
I'm stoked to see where my channel is a year from now with your help 🥺
Thank you Ed (plus team)
Yay! A Film Booth video. Great to see you back here Ed, and so much great advice here to take on board, thank you! Just need to implement it now!
This was such a helpful video! Absolutely love the format, and would love to see more!
You are pure gold man! I am not only learning UA-cam tips from you but also story telling ideas too 🎉 I do hope your channel will skyrocket one day💕
Welcome back! It nice to see you again.
Thank you for helping all of us on here. I really hope this will help
Glad you're back!! Ive been rewatching your other videos while waiting, I LOVE YOUR EDITINGGG
As usual you do a great job with these videos, not only is it educational but its somehow really easy to consume this one in particular considering the simplicity of it, there isn't music, not to many fancy effects to the video, it's just two guys giving some criticism and its oddly entertaining. I'm gonna have a shot at properly doing content creation this weekend and trying to stick to it because I feel that this channel has given me so much knowledge and inspiration to try again.
Am a thumbnail creator, i think i can help too
This was so helpful! Thank you. Cannot wait for another set of review videos. Really enjoy them
Ive been here 7 years on UA-cam, in the past year your videos have been a great help and i've seen a lot of growth. Thanks Ed!
Absolutely loving bingeing your content at the moment, literally the only 'how to grow' channel with any binge-ability! Great work fella!
Ikr 😩
This channel is so COOL
Thanks for doing this! Happy to see you still making some videos.
Wow got surprised! YO thanks ED So much to take my channel for reviewing my thumbnails. Learned a lot from your perspective! Appreciate it! Time to implement some of it!
i love this type of video with you guys giving real world advice and criticism. i can take away way more information and notes from examples.
Glad to hear it. I enjoyed making it too, I'd like to plan another one soon

In the future when I have say 30 videos..
I'll apply..
If I won...
I would ask to swap the £100 for half hour or so of you auditing my channel.
Have you considered doing videos just talking to camera of your thoughts on a subject and then using the end card to refer to a related video from your channel...
So good to see you back 🥰
Was really craving your next upload!
Thank you for this insightful video on Thumbnails and titles!! It's honestly so tricky and I overthink this process all the time 😩 Appreciate this interview format and can't wait to apply these tricks!!
I'll be looking through my thumbnails with this message ringing in my ears, big thank you!!
Your content is so informative and helpful. Thanks for all you do. I’m glad you didn’t disappear.
Happy to see you back! Great video as always! Really helpful ❤
So cool to see you guys looking at model railroading channel! As I'm obsessed about model railroading.
I've been doing UA-cam for 3 years now and all your videos are really helpful!
Thank you both for diving deep into titles and thumbnails 🙏
Love the channel!
This was a fun format, I'd watch more of it!
Yooo, was just thinking about this channel, happy your not gone for good dude!
I pretty much never comment on videos but this was really solid advice and I like the walk through and thought process. Very helpful for reviewing my own channel and what I can do to improve. Great stuff and I’m looking forward to seeing more of your content after your time away!
It's great to see real examples and how they can be improved. Thank you!
I started my UA-cam Channel 2 months ago and your Channel didn't only give me Motivation, you also taught me how i can really take it seriously, even If i am still very small I know how to provide endless value and what's really important ! Thank you for that and if our ways crosses someday I won't forget what you've done
Man its great to see you back. Got depressed after watching your previous saying that your gone.
This is a huge surprise please keep sharing with us your videos have had a great impact on my youtube channel. Please dony disappear again
this was the review video I said id do, I will be off again but ill be back later this year, working on a cool video to come back with
Glad your back making videos again, hopefully everything going good after the break from making content.
Love your reminder about creating better titles and thumbnails that are compelling and uncluttered. Regarding text on thumbnails, we have experimented with both and our few top viewed videos have no text on them at all, just a cool compelling image. Otherwise, if you use them, that was a great tip about keeping your titles to 50 characters or under. Thank you!
Find it kinda funny how in a previous video you mentioned critiquing a video based on quitting and then going back to the status quo afterwards.
However, I will say yeah this definitely helped me lol
I always love videos like this. It’s super helpful so that I can reflect on my own content and see what I’m doing wrong.
LOVE YOU ED GLAD TO SEE UR BACK
Hell ya welcome back man thanks for the vid
These videos are so incredible. Thank you for all your insights!!
And we are back to the thumbnail and title... yep, those two tasks haunt me at least once every week. Thanks for the help!
Loved this video comeback! Please keep doing more of these and less of the gimmicks - I learnt so much from this video. Unfortunately I didn't resonate well with your other videos. But this one had me wanting more as a newbie UA-camr. You got my thumbs up and I've officially subscribed!
So happy to see you! Fabulous thumbnail suggestions as always.
CANT WAIT FOR MORE REVIEWS
I’m learning a lot from your style of story telling and editing methods!
Binging and taking so many notes, trying to learn, just started posting videos a few months ago, to share stuff, but honestly, watching your channel got me thinking about doing it differently and hopefully get a lot more views and grow, still a long way to go tho.
But thankfully I found your channel !!🥳
Thank you so much for this tips, they are so educative to us upcoming youtubers especially when it comes to thumbnails😊😊❤❤
This is the best video I've seen on your channel for a long long time, I have something (actually 3 things) I can take away from this video and apply to my thumbnails.
If this is reflective of the new direction you're going in, I love it.
Ed, I'm glad you didn't stay away for too long. Great video as always... now I'm off to work on my thumbnails.
Om not quite back, I said id post this channel review but ill be back later this year
@@FilmBooth Good deal! I have taken off for the last 6 months and my channel took off while I was gone... maybe the algorithm is trying to tell me something. 🤔
I luv the tutorials film booth , glad to see u again
This is a really educational video for small creators such as myself! Thank you for all the tips🙌
This is a fantastic video! Thumbnails have been such a weakness for me so far but I'm slowly getting better, thanks for all these great tips and reviews 😊
I just checked your channel your thumbnails are great but in my opinion you should increase the contrast so that the thumbnails might look a lot better
Glad you are back!
Ayyyeee!!! Glad to see you back posting videos again.
Thanks for the advice. Very educational. Will be very useful when I start my own channel, now knowing what to do.
I thoroughly enjoy this new format
I love this type where you guys are criticizing thumbnails! I learn a lot from it. Never seen that before until now.
Thank you for keeping up the good work. I really enjoy your channel; really hope it brings joy and growth to you!!!!
loved this video great work mate
That was quick, love this Ed!
Nice Format thank you!
Happy you are back!!
Great video. My biggest issue is the amount of UA-cam short subscribers my channel amassed during the roll out of UA-cam shorts, I feel now that any longer format videos I upload, don't get seen by any of them, so maybe if they new then I'd initially get more views when a video gets published by myself, which might help the video get seen by more, or maybe my content isn't appealing to many.
Welcome back! Such an amazing content ❤️❤️
i love these the most. somtimes i think im doing a strategy right but my implementation is wrong, and these help show it more.
Such a good video - just like all of your videos. Thanks for sharing. The production quality is absolutely 🔥. What I find really difficult with the whole thumbnail/clickbait titles is that I create software tutorials and it's really not easy to create those type of titles/thumbnails when teaching users how to use something like PowerPoint/Microsoft Word.
Thank you for this video! Really helpful, it is easy to get carried away with thumbnail creation and totally miss the mark. Thankfully we can always go back and change out our thumbnails!
Great to see you back
We need some tips for music education channels, please Ed. Good to see you back aswell bro 🙌🏾
I grew a channel to almost 100k and got locked out
Now we’re back with a different method but came back to take notes again.
Glad to see you’re back
This lighting setup is awesome. I need it.
Super helpful video! Also you're looking pretty jacked in that last clip 💪😂
Love to see this topic explored! As a side note, would you ever give advice to art channels?? I notice that literally nobody does this and there are so many new and upcoming channels that would love your advice. Thanks Ed!
Really great tips! Super useful and definitely something I need to apply!
Love this content way more than the heavily edited stuff
Really insightful video bro!!! I learn so much from your videos!!
Please do more of these!
I'm glad your back with your tips
im glad you're back!!
Happy Holidays Ed 🎄
Thanks for continuing to post great videos. I would really love to see what streaming titles and thumbnails should be like for gamers.
Thanks for this video I’m about to immediately start changing my thumbnails on my previous videos that have overcrowded texts that I’ve just noticed 🙏🏽🔥
I make bronze sculptures. I do unique projects and I think because of that I’m am not on a lot of searches. I can’t get my videos suggested by bigger channels, even if I try a “copy cat” project. I know I’ll get traction someday but it’s frustrating still.
Excellent video as always Ed!
Just found ur channel sir. So many new knowledge I got here. Thanks and keep sharing sir. Love from Indonesia 🙏
Love this. Super valuable
Good to see your back
More of these! Like the more specific example based advice
Small channel here and these tips are so helpful, love these kind of videos 😊
Thumbnails... This video enlightens a lot. So much, so that I feel like a rabbit on the road at night when you put on the high beams! 🐇💥 My brain hear bells, but I don't know where the sound comes from yet... Super conversation Ed and Aaron, very useful, very clear examples and counterexamples. Thank you so much, guys!
Your work is simply amazing
I’m happy that you’re back mate.
This is the channel review video I mentioned I'd make in my last video, Im still not "back" to regular content but will be before the end of the year.

You will have your hands full. People love your work and details. The comments celebrate all your help.
(Now as for the end of the year coming so quickly.....not good not good...I'm still one New Year's Resolution short of meeting my goals. Hmmm need to focus, but first more Halloween candy is in order).
I hope that you are doing well and getting yourself recentered. You've had a tremendous impact on a lot of us who have been looking to create something valuable. I appreciate you.
I love your videos Film Booth and am glad you posted this one. I've been having issues gaining traction and this was super helpful!
I like this. Keep going please 🥺
Thanks for reviewing my channel, massive help! Looking forward to your future videos as always - when you’re ready to come back that is!
Dropping FACTS. Thank you. Very useful info
Definitely one of the top channels for this kind of content, I think what is really making a difference, is that we see you care about helping, giving good, honest tips, and what's really cherry on a cake - you always show how to use tips, while you say to use those tips. Proves instantly how effective they are, and how you are learning/using them yourself, as we should too.
Video about importance of thumbnails? At end I get your next video, with powerful thumbnail that begs to be clicked - shows exactly what to aim for, to your viewers ;)
Thanks for doing your best man, while also being entertaining. I'm sure each of those videos take a lot of your energy, but as usually, if you do things in a best way, people notice and appreciate it :) Keep up the great work, and even if you take any breaks, we will always click your video when you are back ;)
This is kinda off topic but My biggest question right now that I can’t seem to find answered is how do you do UA-cam give aways? How can you tell who entered, how do you pick who wins, and how do you figure out their info to ship the item to them?
Great insights. Thank you for sharing.
Yess, he is back
