- Good and cheap practice amp, fear cleans, and quite a good drive channel. Recorded with Fender American Standard )with gen4 noiseless pickups), Gibson Les Paul Studio and Two Notes Captor 8 reactive load box.
Joe Bonamassa spent all that money on those high powered tweed twins and all he needed was this amp and a strat lol.
I have the head and a 2x12" eminence cabinet. The loudest i ever played the crunch Chanel was 3.5 the Windows started to shake. Such a cool amp!!!!
Wow! I just found a 700 Rocpro used and this demo made me buy it! I believe these are a gem from the past AND BANG FOR THE BUCK!
I got one myself and can't believe how much it sounds like an old tube Twin reverb! The spring reverb is the best!
I believe these are identical to the earlier Performer 1000 I picked up from the Guitar Center. It's marked made in the USA. Very pleased so far, amazing value.

@@bizzski Get one of these and a Marshall Mosfet 100 head and two 1x15 cabs with Celestion Fullbacks in them and a LP, Strat, and Tele style axes and you have all you need to gig both Fender and Marshall solid states at their best!
That actually sounded far better than I was expecting.
I’ve had this amp for at least 15 years, the spring reverb somehow got disconnected from the board and it’s stuck on the dirtiest tube channel.. but I still plug into it at least once a week. Great amp!

This sounds great man, I just picked up mine that was sitting in my parents garage for probably 20 years. I plugged it in it turns on but cutting out pretty bad, hopefully I can have it repaired, it was my first loud amp!!
was the preamp tube bad?
Get the pots cleaned and vacuum it out well.

Nice demo! I have roc pro 700, which I modded so it does not mumble in low mids. It sounds immense with celestion creamback!

Nice demo! Good comparison between the clean and "crunch" sounds at 1:15; its excatly what I was looking to hear. The amp sounds excellent. Nice playing, too.
How did you record the amp (e.g., amp to loadbox, loadbox to recording device etc...)?

I love the clean stuff that you do! I am curious who’s your guitar God when you were a little kid and you just got your first tube amp with two el 84 and nothing else but it was screaming like hell who did you listen to my friend
Thanks, my first el84 amp was my father's radio, which unfortunately had no drive :-) and was big fan of Metallica( surpice)
