Dude, that was killer! you have some very fast hands. I bet you flat out shred now 8 years later. I'm trying to buy this amp head on C.L. if the guy still has it. I hope he does. The more I learn and hear about this amp the more I want it. Greetings from Denver.
I used to use my Fender Roc Pro 1000 for death metal, and for some reason it actually did a fairly ok job at putting out some heavy-assed win. On gain 1. Then I moved away from my band, and my former band mates managed to blow it up before I was able to pick it up.
@benwilshire Nah mate. I have an Ibanez RGT3020, basically a neck thru ibanez with a lo-pro and paf pro's. ML1 looks sweet but im only 16 so i cant afford to buy stuff, had to save up a long time to buy this one :) Aiming for a new amp next and after that maybe a Chapman guitar :D
@sportsportsport MESA makes great stuff...I love the Lonestars... I have a Traynor amp that I hate too. I bought a Marshall JVM 410....that took care of it
@batteredornaments You sure you are watching the same video mate? I assume you must be Steve Vai if you think his playing is mediocre, can i have an autograph plz? Also I myself noticed a distinct lack of facial expressions save the scary flared nostril thing.....
Ben my mate, you got the chops and the hair but you need to feel free to use facial expressions. Don't be a stone face, as you won't captivate your audience. Just a pro tip from an old metal veteran who loves your playing. Keep Rockin!
@lighteningboy It's not that funny! Seriously. I've had this amp for five years now from second hand and it's finally pissed me off enough to ditch it! Mesa I think!
So it's all about how good your chops are! (...Which I find, extremely boring...). Next time you do a 'review' of an amp, take us through the stages, in clean and overdrive. Changing pups as you go. I don't tune in to check out how good or mediocre your playing is.... I wan't to hear how good the fucking amp is! Or not, as the case may be. So less of the posing and more of the proper reviewing. Thumbs inverted.
I LOVE these amps. A buddy of mine left one at my house recently and I'm blown away by it.
