It would have been nice to see this with a lawn that actually has leaves on it.

Absolutely 💯 percent happy with my lawn sweeper. Picks up all those pine needles, pine cones, and leaves. Plus easy bagging

I was thinking about the lawn sweeper I remembered as a kid in the 1960’s, didn’t know they still made them.

THANK YOU for showing the speeded up sweeping of a large swathe so we could get the full effect. I'm convinced this is what I need now.

Thanks for the info. I've recently been considering one of these. My grandpa had one when I was a kid. My lawn looks like 5 miles of bad road compared to yours but I have a ton of pine needles and I just can't do all that raking anymore.

Bro...your lawn is so immaculate I would be scared to step on it.
And you dam sure wouldn't be coming over my house, you would probably suffer PTSD just from the sight of it.

Just bought one. I have difficulty with wheels turning. They just stop turning and skim over. Do I squirt some WD? It's really not worth 200.00. Basket quickly adds up. Arms get tired quickly from pushing.

where did you buy it for alittle above a hundred bucks! its 200 on homedepo and amazon!!! its so expensive. I have another idea to add on to your modification. you can apply a half adhesive vinyl door draft stopper, which they sell for like 5 bucks at home depot onto your leaf sweeper for extra durability.

Just surface stuff? What about the leaves that are down by the soil? The grass grew past it. Had to rake by hand because the blower wouldn't get it out, they are so compacted to the soil. 15k sq feet. Ugh!

Wow Doc! This is something I need with all of my large oak trees here in SC
Speaking of trees, I don’t think I am going to be able to successfully maintain Bermuda in my yard with all of the shade.
Will all of the products you recommend, (PGF complete, Super Juice, DuoCide, humic, etc) do well with Zoysia grass?
I love your advice, website and program, but think i need to switch to Zoysia
    Thanks in advance

Hey Doc. Your "neighbor" down in Newnan. My lawn has been starting to brown over especially in front with the extra shade. I noticed yours isn't. Should I be worried? I know your lawn is MUCH healthier than mine. Is it too soon to brown? Neighbors here are too. Sad to see my green grass go to sleep.

Forget the duct tape. That cheap fix won't stay on. Instead, get a length of aluminum/vinyl door weatherstrip, or like a door sweep, and drill small holes along the width of the sweeper where you stuck the tape, and attach the door seal with little machine screws.
