Nice vid! So what you guys did was enter the lake side, took the fire road to the 15 side, and then ran it back running the offshoots. Going up the chute is a lot of fun by the way. Pretty doable. Non-locked may have issues.
Hey bro, i really appreciated your spotting in this video. You know exactly how atrac works and you let it work. Ive been spotted by people who dont understand atrac and are quick to say, STOP! BACK UP and take the bypass. Also a thing ive learned, i believe atrac kicks in slower due to the bigger size of the wheel. Atrac kicks in due to wheel speed of the spinning wheel, so the bigger tire changes the wheel speed! Anyways! Take it easy bro
most Bubbas don't understand ATRAC... it's always an entertaining time with the unwahed and uninitiated... we did all our ATRAC testing on these same Cleghorn Ridge offshoots... one time atop 2N17X someone in a Wrangler asked "is it a 4x4?" 😆 🤣
Just uploaded a video on this trail pt.2 but I definitely road the wall more because that rock is not friendly got up on the 3 wheels but the wheel base on the jt is long so no roll overs that easy lol
Kind of binge watched ur videos this trail can a Silverado with extended cab do this trail? It’s be tryed some trails off the 3n16 but way to small like jeep only size
Thats because the trail is not open yet. Forest service hasnt open it yet. Looks like DEC 31 under new order. Only forest thats open is Mnt. Top. Big Bear .
I spoke with the ranger that takes care of cleghorn and he confirmed with me that it’s Open, it is closed on the 15 fwy side all the way to we’re you can see in the video basically to Edison hill 👍
@@TrailMilitia my club is part of the Adopt A Trail in the San Bernadino Forest the only open trails are the ones in Big Bear. Mnt top ranger district. Look on line and it's posted. Closed till Dec.31. Just remember if you do get caught it's 5000.00 fine. Just trying to help. Not being a Asshole. Cleghorn and Lydel Creek are supposed to be closed.
@@guylongley1573 i totally understand where you’re coming from but this is coming from a forest Ranger. There’s only certain parts of the trail closed not the whole thing. Guess I’ll hit up the service station tomorrow and get a definitive answer.
@@TrailMilitia just don't want to see you guys get into trouble. We are working to get them open. Funny thing is they never closed the gates. Just blocked It off at the 15. Even Arrow Head is closed.

I usually don’t worry too much about going up these types of obstacles. It’s coming down that makes me crap myself.
*excllent skills... even more challenging after Hurricane Hilary* 🌀 ❤
George - a lot of your videos scare me but this one is pure stoke! Thanks and looking forward to wheeling with you in 2 weeks in Big Bear!
Scare you? Lol

Good to know appreciate the info I truly believe in the Atrac system when used properly! Thanks for the props

@@markbisdak last I heard was yes 👍 but I’m not 100percent sure
Good to know it’s open. If you google it says closed 🤷🏽♂️
Yea a lot of trails haven’t been updated online but they are open only certain sections are shut down
Dam ya'll make that look easy. My friend wants to take me here but my Jeep is stock...will it be okay?
Fun times, aside of wind noise, gear is working out.
This was with mic not updated like we spoke I’m hoping even with wind we should be crisp next time around
Clean Bro! Whats side you went in through though?
Good video i will subscribe your channel..
Glad you enjoyed it and thank you so much for the sub

It is doable the chute might get a little tricky with the Bed but with a good spotter you can definitely pull it off… thank you for the binge 🤟🏽
@@TrailMilitia I been going into the wash/river bed one that goes front the 10-210 north and south.. but when I go next time hit me up I’m down
FOR BEING A RETIRED JEEP MECHANIC , SPOTER, TRAIL GUIDE . YOU MAKE ME PROUD OF WHAT I DID . THANK YOU , IT IS A LOT OF WORK.
Thanks Gary and yes spotting is an art for sure especially with peoples rigs on the line
🔥
I’ve received more damage at Cleghorn more than any other trail. 💩happens!
Cleghorn takes peoples numbers all the time
Hey guys I’m new at this and I would be alone Can you go on the easy side on a stock 2023 tundra trd off road ? Or you must take the hard areas.
You can take the fire road from one side to the other without doing any obstacles
are there camping spots along this route?
Why doesn't the driver of the Lexus stratle the obstical to keep this vehicle level?
🤙🏽‼️
Yo, how can I purchase a Trail Militia hat?
Yo send me a DM on insta I’ll put your order im

Can the chute portion be bypassed
yes it can
what type of set up does the 2 door have?
He has a metal cloak 31/2 I believe with 35s and a front locker
I wish I had a Metal Clock set up .. terraflex 2” springs up front and 1” in rear (leveling kit) with a body 1 1/4” body lift ..
@@Batfish420 well I was off by a lot lol
@TrailMilitia By the way it handled the trail I would've thought the same thing
@@Batfish420 nice to see a 2 door represent.
The worst mex I can't spotter.
