Ram, I'm a little older than you, and I've run a few cows when I was a lot younger. It looks to me like, when them boys get a little wider at the shoulder your gonna have near a expert range crew. They'll be a bundle of energy and full of common sense . A perfect combination. And I can't blame it on anybody but they're leadership. You and , your wife have done a fine job. And a pleasure to watch. Thanks for sharing.

I love how you all work together with little to no communication. To wit, the boy (sorry, I don't track names) that brought the bunch over the hill, then turned back when he saw that you and the other boy were ready for them. Also that you know that he turned back for a good reason, and whatever that is that he can handle it, and that he knows you know that. Soooo nice to see a group operate like this, even better that it's young kids.

This is probably your best episode to date. I grew up in the 60s watching Rawhide and wagon train. If we'd had programs like yours back then you'd have ruled the ratings system for years. Just watching your kids grow up living the life of a real cowboy is more interesting and educational than anything I watched as a child. Keep up the great work!

I absolutely love your Adventures while ranching…. This is how kids should grow up. Your kids will go far as they know how to think for themselves, problem solve, ranch and drive anything.
I really enjoy watching them team rope, they are so talented after learning to rope the wild cattle on your ranch
Keep sharing your adventures, we love it!!!!

You're set up in the perfect place if a major calamity happens, whether it's an EMP, a natural disaster, a 'zombie apocalypse', or civil unrest. You have your own water and food supply, your own electricity, and - most important of all - the knowledge and experience to survive anything. Anchor Brand Ranch is great example of self-sufficiency. And if you're prepared for a zombie apocalypse, then you're prepared to handle anything.

The end of the video where you’re following the cow path thru the trees brung back a whole lotta memories of my childhood… the cows had all kinds of paths and trails thru the brambles that horses barely got thru and cowboys on horseback had no chance. We had a Shetland pony that was an uncooperative little poopoo head but he absolutely shined at getting the cows outa the tight pockets he’d bite the cows on their butts and force them out, somehow he’d turn his body enough so he wasn’t the one getting kicked it would be little idiot on top that would come home with the bruises on his feet and legs…

Nothing worse than riding a horse that doesn’t know how to handle their feet in rough country. I had a appy that was part mountain goat and part mule he thought. Would go through pretty much anything and never miss a step. We did a 75 mile 3 day trail ride through rough country where there was a rock under a every blade of grass. That horse would go through deep mud, any kind of water, steep climbs and if he saw a mule go somewhere he wanted to go too. He was 21 the last time he did that ride. And it was in july where temps were usually around 110 or up.
