Marcus Green yes nigga tf is you sayin? Damn because it’s a black movie the shit can’t get no Oscar consideration? MP killed this shit B he definitely deserved some Oscar love but black movies don’t get that kind of love
The mind of a hustler is someone who is focused on what he values and does whatever he can to obtain it by any means necessary. This scene is both effed up AS WELL as educational. It teaches to follow your passion but at the same time ask yourself why you are following it. Mitch learned it the hard way. And Ace looked up to Mitch because Mitch taught Ace to never lose vision of what's important. And to Ace, it was family
This scene just shows that Mitch didn’t care just about the money anymore but that love and respect that came with the hustle. He felt like he’s purpose in life was just to hustle and love he got proved it to him. Poetic in the sense he got too caught up in it and got killed by someone he thought loved him for it.
No he just cared about the money what the fuck you on about B he thinks he cares about love and stuff but in reality hes a good looking young guy that uses his charisma to charm people into buying drugs he doesnt care about love he cares about clout but he didnt deserve to be iced by rico
Mitch failed to see past the spectical and the attention he was getting. He got so wrapped up that he failed to see his enemies hiding behind familiar friendly faces. He felt like everything would last forever and that he was untouchable, however this isn't the reality of the game or the world that we live in. This is why so many fall victim to the manipulative nature of those seeking power around us. Although I liked his role in this movie a lot and definitely rooted for him.
What happened was Rich made a shady deal for like $300,000 with Alpo and Alpo found out and smoked him. They changed it in the movie to make him look more treacherous. Alpo didn't even live in New York at the time. I'm not saying killing your friends is ok but they were adolescents playing a deadly game.
Traye76 I think what you said is dumb and doesn't address what I said. He's a low life killer that you're talking about you love. If that's what you're going to show love for, than do it; but don't talk out of both sides of your mouth about it.
+Yobachi2007 Only you didn't understand what I meant, NOW you do, but instead of just saying "My bad" you're trying to save face by ignoring the fact you were wrong in the first place. The guy gets love in the streets, that's not up for debate. Your personal feelings about him mean absolutely nothing to what I said. In the future think first.

Mitch was honest to those that mattered to him. All he wanted was that same love to be returned back to him. Ace played his hand and got out the game beautifully. Movie taught me the crazy things the people we call friends would do if given the opportunity. Whodini called it right all those years ago.
I felt heartbroken when he said this. Broken mindset. Pride before the fall. He should've learned from his brothers pain right here. He was totally blind to it.😴
"It's my gift in life A.." Damn, like he said..He can leave the drug game behind but who will care for him then? I guess hustling all he know, sometimes in life when we love doing something it becomes our universe, our world and everything. Sometimes it blocks us from other opportunities we also could be doing. But we don't wanna change of what we love in the first place..our gift of whatever we love.
You can do things legally and still hustle.. Mitch would have been great at selling everything clothes to cars.. He could have gotten into the nightclub game; all types of shit and been good. Hustling don't just mean selling dope and all other types of illegal activity.
