Who will become Top Chef? And who will be told to "Pack up your knives, and go"? - Розваги
That giggling and down playing his mistakes got under my skin. I am so glad that Tom sent him home.
Exactly! Why Tom told him to leave.
Never watched this season, but this guy just got me so mad. He is laughing at destroying her tenderloin. Tom didn't raise his voice but he was steaming made.
He's actually not doing bad. I searched him and found a video of him making a lemon mayo for a local Sacramento News segment that has over 140 views
Hysterical!!!
You’re delusional too then!
🤣🤣

Bruh let ‘em have one chance…
The pure facade of smug hiding such massive incompetence and insecurity. Amazing
The funniest part to me is that he could have easily avoided this by just not volunteering to butcher😂. He literally shot himself in the foot
Exactly. Why volunteer for the tenderloin when you have no idea what you are doing.
You know it's bad when they don't tell you to pack your knives in an apologetic manner and they say "just pack your knives and go"
Without Padma there to soften it with a “please.” That had to be rough, but he was young, and hopefully took it as a huge life lesson in humility. Turn that gigantic negative, into a positive.
I was so stoked to see Tom pull rank like that… well done sir! Disrespect to the ingredient is a cardinal sin…
Yep! He failed everyone in the competition and took it as a joke.
And disrespect to his fellow contestants.
watching the look on Toms' face as he is examining the hacked-up meat is priceless . . .
It was like he was witnessing a crime, and he was.
*Tom’s
@@JRandaII well, no - the apostrophe in Tom's is an abbreviation for 'Tom is', as in "Tom's sleeping", for example. "Toms' ", where the apostrophe is after the plural word, refers to the possessive - the face which Tom has. My original post was correct :)
@@JRandaII imagine correcting someone so arrogantly and being completely wrong.
He's lucky it's not Gordon Ramsay! But Tom's face and Emeril's. Priceless
That would have been very entertaining
I don’t know. Tom exudes unquestionable authority under that cool, smirky exterior. He’s actually pretty terrifying.
"You said you've never butchered a fillet? Congratulations you just have..."
Emeril has fired people for that.
It's been like ten years, and I'm still waiting for a famous Chef Tyler "at the top".
😩🤣🤣
Seriously where is he now.
@@hange-zoe7810 He actually is at the top. As in the top of fastest top chef contestant to be booted off.
Tyler Florence took that spot 😁
Tyler Stone is actually a successful caterer in Napa Valley - he does a lot of events for different wineries
0:57 Just the way Tom and Emeril are standing there looking at him is priceless. Tom knew he was clueless from the word go.
I thought the same
Over 10 years later and this still lives rent free in my head.
I want a season of all the chefs that have gone home first.
I've lived it and it would be hard to watch. The way Tyler disrespected this animal product was hart breaking. As a Chef, a great deal of value is put into life, it is precious. Without it, I wouldn't have the job I've had.
I've been wanting a season of Hell's Kitchen: Donkey's Edition for that exact same reason.
I mean, Ru Paul did it once, I'd love to see it on a cooking show!
Like the Top Chef that started the season on the line at a restaurant tasting with his fingers…spacing on which one.
@@CalifScots I think that was season one, Ken Lee dipped finger in a sauce and was sent home first
People that lie so openly or shamelessly should be dealt like this...swiftly.👏👏👏👏👏 "no I wasn't butchering for someone else" liar!! I cheered so hard when he was thrown out, and then he says give me a shot, like he did the tenderloin, crybaby😅🐷
and then grayson ends up "on the bubble" because she allowed tyler to attempt to cut the meat. I'm glad she ended up making it, cause honestly, that seemed borderline unfair considering it is the first challenge and the entire point is to see if their FOOD is enough to get them in the competition
*’cause
I wish there was more of this on reality TV. No use keeping people around who will only hold everyone back just for the drama.
Oh but they did. The finale he was brought back to be on a team to help making the winning dishes. Lol it was a disaster.
Still to this day I don’t know why he volunteered to butcher that meat when he knew he didn’t know how to LOL
When you get kicked out even before cooking, but still are saying you’re going to the top 😂 the insanity is strong in this one.
I love how much I forgot about this guy after he “rose to the top”. Also, he looks like a human Quagmire.
That look on your face when you lied to get on the show, claiming to be a Chef, only to find out a fancy set of knives that you didn't know how to use, we're just bought from an estate sale.
Yep, Tyler went straight to the top, the top of the losers list....what disrespect for his competitors, they asked if he was butchering for someone else, and he knew he was, but turns around and says he's just taking what he needs, and screws not only that, but the rest of it for the others....
“I know where I’m going, right to the top”
*to jump off this building*
Hmmm one can say if your wanting to be a chef ,knowing what parts are what and how to butcher them to get the best cuts is essential , especially for costing each part to keep prices reasonable for the diner .
so much entertainment!!! and the season had not even started proper
He was mad arrogant.
Yes for absolutely no reason!
Tyler was hand picked to fail and yet,Tyler did that all on his own. I've worked in kitchens that have hired cooks with Tyler's level of experience in the past. It must be shocking for the viewer to see someone, that believes they can walk into this unprepared, unskilled, and unashamed. Crazier still is to try to convince someone who excels in butchery, that you can do this, even after you've outright failed. This is cringeworthy, on so many levels. I felt bad due to the disrespect of this animal, in the end I thought Tyler was going to stab himself. Tyler needs to rethink his career options.
'Hey you should really read that cookbook you wrote'😂
Been cooking for 22 plus years, breaking down meat is step 4 in cooking
First time Tom had to do this.. speaks volumes of his lack of respect for the product and the chefs he’s conpeting with
3:40 100% ignorance,100% arrogance, where is this guy now?
Quick answer...
Do you want fries with that or
Welcome to Chick Fil A
Google Chef Tyler Stone--there's an hilarious picture of him being as much a tool as he was on the show.
He actually has a successful catering company in Napa Valley - works with a number of wineries
Tyler reeks of BS. Can’t stand people like that. So glad he was called out on it.
I guess you could say, Tyler just couldn't....
**please don't**
Hack it!
**groan**
He didn't make the cut...
so he killed the other pieces, inorder to get his own piece as he wants? great move
His eyebrows can empathize with that violated pork 🙏🏾
I will own the fact that I wouldn't know my way around a professional kitchen if my life depended on it. That said even I've cut up enough pork that I probably could have got that line out of there in one piece. I guarantee you I would not have volunteered to butcher that for everyone else.
KICK ROCKS!!🤣🤣🤣🤣
I remember watching this 🤣
if you aren’t used to butchering pork then don’t volunteer to do it.
All I can say he is so lucky the late great Anthony bourdain was not there. Lord only knows what he would have said to this contestant. You are truly missed Mr. Bourdain.
"I'm rushing to complete my other tasks so I LET someone else butcher my tenderloin"
That makes no sense. Did the person butchering not need to quickly get his cut?
Tyler was dead wrong and deserved to be sent home for lying but the other chef was in no position to "Let someone" butcher her cut
Tom can be like Goku Black or Matori from Pokémon whenever a chef screws up on cutting pork properly.
I would never depend on someone else in a competition to butcher my cut of meat. I feel the other contestant were careless for trusting him to butcher the cut they needed.
I’m no butcher, but knew from the start that he messed up big time
With such an attitude in the kitchen it is a surprise we ever get anything to eat at all when we go to a restaurant.
I don't 100% understand what happened, but his trolling was TOO MUCH
Peak top chef right here😂😂😂😂
His confidence is misplaced
So was his talent.
What season was this?
This sort of failure makes one want to change their name and face and hope no one ever watches this.It was hard for me to watch and i exbit SCHADENFREUDE.
Why would he even offer to do it if he knew he couldn't
This was the first episode of Top Chef I ever watched and made me think "Wow, this competition is for real." After that, I never watched another episode of Hell's Kitchen.
What
To be fair i get why, it's just that Hell's Kitchen works way different than Top Chef
He acted like one of those people that think they are better than anyone else
That was brutal.
Stay humble my guy, there's only bottom of you carry on with that way of thinking and behaviour.
there is something very unsettling about the look in Tyler's eyes. anyone else?
Not surprised if Chef Tyler gets blacklisted from the World of Cooking.
Bit out of context this. I'm pretty sure (from memory) this was more of a "pre-selection" part of the show and the chefs knew they were being evaluated and may be sent home any moment.
If Tyler works for Sarah Welch (co-runner up of Top Chef Houston), trust me, she will fire him in a heartbeat. Sarah Welch is not only a chef, but also an incredible butcher (one of the founding figure of Marrow Restaurant and Butcher Shop in Detroit), and I think that kind of thing will not be acceptable in her restaurant.
New to TC, after this episode I wish I was that tenderloin. 😪
Why did Tyler offer to butcher the pork if he didn't know how to do jt
Dreadful season, full of bullies and abusers and bulls** t artists.
i liked a handful of people. ,but ultimately it was drowned out by the rest. It DOES have one my favorite episodes ever, and that was when they made the horror-like meal for charlize theron, the fit for an evil queen meal
Yup-I can’t rewatch it bc of how poorly Bev was treated.
I came here 2 years after this posted to apologize on behalf of all people born and raised in Sacramento. Please don't judge us by his actions
Oh I remember him. Just the ultimate d-bag. I was so glad to see him get his comeuppance.
Writing a cookbook in 3 and half weeks doesn't sound like something to brag about to me.
Wow, how did that guy even get on the show in the first place?
Right to the Top......More like straight out the Door
I wanna know what he was eating when they dismissed him
Tyler shows up later in the finale and actually has interesting and useful insights to share. He strikes me a bit like s2 Marcel. Passionate, motivated but a little too excited and ahead of himself.
Too bad it’s only words and not actions!
As a butcher, I can tell this dude has no clue what he's doing. I could break down that whole thing with a clever and Scimitar.
Private Chefs NEVER do well on Top Chef.
I feel that “Chef Tyler STONER!” is more than likely working at a 7-11, grilling Hot Dogs for a living.
stephanie was an all star and made it to the finals of the all star season 17 (one of the strongest seasons imo). She was a private chef.
@@2ntwins Before then, she was an Executive Chef. Why would you compare an Executive Chef with Tyler?!
🤦♂️
@@l-wolverine2211 Oh i didn't know that. I didn't see her original season jsut the all stars one. where she mentioned that she was a private chef andt therefore did not own any restaraunts
@@2ntwins True - but she came out of the same culinary background as Kristen Kish, working for Barbara Lynch in Boston and later gravitating to being a private chef.
Just the way he was holding his knife while going to clean it shows such a lack of regard for anyone else there.
Top chef
They knew what they were doing when they brought this guy on...
Not like it mattered. Paul dominated so hard this season, nobody stood a chance.
I felt kind of bad for him until his last words.
I didn't, I don't particularly like people who cannot take criticism or do not look a person in the eyes when they have a conversation.
he actually helps in the final episode and does a fine job.
He is a talented chef - has a very successful catering company that does a number of events in Napa for wineries.
@@jamesrawlins735 You must be his promoter. I’ve seen a couple comments like this from you.
I'm a Top Chef novice but I wish they'd kick some of the cooks off MasterChef mid-challenge.
I wonder which illustrious McDonald's Tyler works at now.
hahaha
I hear he can’t even heat up airline food
None. The McDonald's butchers weren't up to his standards
How the F did this guy make it on top Chef! 😖
There were 30 people that year, someone was bound to slip through. That said he was dealt with quickly.
he came back to be sarah's sue chef at the finale....hahaha
@@cirsiumc yeah thank you for the correction
He has a successful catering company in Napa Valley - does a lot of events for wineries so he had a lot of connections.
He was very arrogant
After this he went right to the top...of the highest building he could find.
So where is he now, flipping burgers at Wendy's ??
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Im not a butcher.
Yea, but youre a chef, thats a basic skill.
This fool didnt even recognize what part of the meat he was cutting. You fake it all you want but experts can recognize a fake.
Why are they doing pork cuts in Texas?
How did Tyler assist Sarah in the finale does he ever keep in his huge ego in his pea sized brain
So that’s what delusional looks like.
Hilarious
WoW didn't remember that Tyler episode but he was so arrogant he got what he deserved...
Wow thats really really basic stuff i could do at 12
Lol
He looks like a mannequin or something. Weird looking dude.
Glad that guy was gone he got a bad case of a small name big ego
Tyler narcissist all the way
come on give him a shot
He couldn't make it on Gordon Ramsay's shows.
Talk about low EQ…to go with a how IQ
Dude reeks of upper class spoiled money.
He butchered his eyebrows like the tenderloin!!
I was looking for this comment! The eyebrows told me everything I needed to know about him.
His face just… idk dude.
What a mess he is
Ego ego ego ... buhbye
Sabotage
Overconfidence and boasting
