Just finished rewatching this season a few days ago and yeah it was rough. Kristen kept giving her clear and specific instructions about the timing of things and Josie would just straight up ignore her and wander off somewhere lol. It was so clear Josie hated being on that team and didn't want them to succeed.
Also that judge’s table showed a lot about Kristen’s character. She was clearly upset about Josie but didn’t throw her under the bus and took responsibility for being the one who is ultimately in charge of the restaurant. That shows a lot of integrity (unlike Josie), she was already my favorite on that season but that probably made her one of my favorites of all time.
I always wonder how much the arguing from contestants at judges table ends up ever moving the needle. I would think if the judges base everything on the food nothing that is said would change the decisions. Unless you’re talking about disqualifying somebody for cheating.
Enchiladas are a traditional dish made with nixtalmalized corn tortillas. Anything else would be like making Yorkshire pudding with oatmeal. People may try it but it's not the same dish. You can make a similar dish with flour tortillas but it's not ever going to be an enchilada.
No true ones are made with corn , basically it's the American version that made them with flour, same as what western countries did to Chinese food. They alter it then try to tell people their way is correct.
I think the idea was they felt corn tortillas would've been more authentic for the Quinceanera. But I agree, I don't see the issue with using flour tortillas; it's common in a lot of places
I stop watching Top Chef a long time ago because it is lowkey racist. if I have to explain this is what I will say, it's a competition but it was a "team" effort. Josie played the victim, if you had a suggestion, say it. All of you are chefs, if it was shot down then your argument is valid. Kristen should've stayed. Howie wasn't communicating but Sara took the fall for what? Paul should've checked anyway, but he is right that I didn't argue with. Keith didn't know but because Sarah didn't voice her concern, Keith takes the heat then Sarah plays the victim. Tanya had to stop what she was doing to help you multiple times but it was her fault for not stopping again to help you like a maid, no bruh.
So many cringey moments on this “5 times” video :/ (but hey, no one forced me to rewatch these moments! 😅) Many chefs from this list have grown so much, I didn’t like how Claudette was portraying herself on S15, but to watch her on Iron Chef and coming back as a guest on Top Chef, you can tell she is in a much better place and her cooking just keeps getting better 🥳!
Did we miss anyone? Let us know in the comments.
Heather and Beverly from the Texas season
Lisa and Andrew
From season 4
The infamous pea puree
Josie was intentionally sabotaging Kristen every step of the way. I'm so glad Kristen came back and won.

Kristen got her Revenge against Josie at LCK
So true

Bringing Josie back was a genius decision. She was so annoying and not like able
The guys in the back grabbing their heads and faces when Tonya and Claudette were arguing 🤣 🤣
They knew she could’ve set it off in there lol
Not at all. 🙄
Josie is always such a hot mess and full of excuses. Cant stand her in either season she was in
I didn't even notice her in season 3.
Me either
Josie was awful....truly awful
Kristen is my favorite contestant of all time😄
The cringe from when Claudette threw Tanya under the bus was so palpable. All the chefs and even Colicchio were feeling it. 🤦♀️🤦🤦♂️
Claudette was looking out for herself. Not a team player
Hosea and Leah throwing Adriane under the bus
Couldn’t stand Sarah and still can’t.
I agree with you!!!
@John Brown Sarah G
Lisa from season 4 throwing Andrew under the bus for not including a whole grain!
Lisa was such an self-absorbed waste of flesh. And she didn’t even need to do that; Parma already knew and pointed it out during the meal.
@@Kemix0711 agreed
Tonya knew she had no allies in that room so she didn't want to waste her breath explaining. Been there before....
Don't know how you can know that just from this clip. Even if you watched the entire season, I'm still not sure how you can know that.

Excuse me? There were no needles involved. That would be abuse.
I thought this video was going to be Chefs throwing each other under the bus and then they end up winning the challenge.
Sarah is such a...Ugh. She and Heather are the reasons why I will never watch season 9 again.
@John Brown season 9
@John Brown Sarah G
the video quality comparison from earlier seasons to past seasons is funny lol. like the newer seasons were filmed on iphone 12 lol
Top Chef Texas is messy af... I'd rewatch every other season but Texas is just blergh. So many bullies in one group
_Top Chef_ Season 2 (Los Angeles) was the worst in terms of personalities. Everybody bullying Marcel.
I'm missing Casey from Season 3,8, and 14!!!
A follow up video maybe?
@@TopChef definitly!
It seems the judges side with the chefs they like or are more popular
I don't think you have watched top chef at all.
@@GoogleUser-fh8ek Maybe you haven't watched enough🤔🤷
@@Alexandra-qc9te I watched all episodes....Twice 😎
@@GoogleUser-fh8ek Where have you been all my life?!?😭😂😂
Tom is mortified.
Wow Kristen and Brooke look so different now.
Bourdain was no BS.
Enchiladas can totally be flour tortillas

True Traditional.... Enchiladas are made from Corn Tortillas

6:57 her lipstick looks like she had a grape flavored or dark colored lollipop.
hence why after checking tapes kristen made it all the way back..and won. huh
Where did Sarah throw Keith under the bus?
i'm sorry, but plenty of people in texas use flour tortillas for enchilladas. what are they talking about?
I think the idea was they felt corn tortillas would've been more authentic for the Quinceanera. But I agree, I don't see the issue with using flour tortillas; it's common in a lot of places
😮 Texan here never EVER flour.
@@VoiceoftheBoa2 Also what kind if chef buys PRE COOKED shrimp like he did.
@@63076topher I'm not defending that one

What is the name of the tall chef defending Sarah against Howie?
Chris “CJ” Jacobson. He also came back for Season 10 in Seattle.
😍 💦
Every1 said SARA N. was slow. They made it seem like a shocking news.
Sarah was horrible to Keith and everyone really.
Tonya was so rude and entitled. So was Claudette.
I love flour tortilla enchiladas. I hate corn tortilla enchiladas(texture is soggy and gritty).
Kristen is Mary Anne from Hell's kitchen
I never liked Josie!
Sarah was so annoying.
