Astron is the house brand of the Australian Sigma and Pentax importers (CR Kenedys). That one is a Sigma made lens but other Astron lenses were made by other less known lens manufacturers.
Hey I found this lens with a film camera that got lended to me by my mother. (can't garuntee is that same lens as she also had a DLSR k1000 I think.) It came with a sigma instruction booklet more digging to do later as im busy atm but I would be happy to upload it.
I used a K&F Pentax K mount to EOS plus a EOS to E-mount, as I had both of them around anyway, but, needless to say, it makes more sense to use just one adapter such as a K&F K-Mount to E-Mount

I reckon it is a Sigma lens too. Thanks for the info, don't worry about uploading the booklet.
What adapter did you use to mount this lens onto the a6500?
