  • One week at a time, we get closer to bringing in the cabin package! Today Levi built us some sawhorses to make all of the incoming building projects a little bit easier and Becca attempted to burn the slash pile that's taking up a good chunk of the garden space.
The sawhorses were successful but the slash pile will have to be put on hold until some more snow melts and we can get into the pile better with some dry kindling.
Henry is getting big enough to take some long naps in the warm truck so we finally got to video and get a lot done all in one day! He is still an expert at being tended to in the truck but we cannot wait for some warmer weather so we don't have to run the truck and be cramped up when taking care of him.
More space is opened up from snow every single day with the tractor and soon we will have a full-blown snow fortress that may never melt at this rate of build-up!
Becca also got to take down her biggest tree to date and Levi will probably not be able to steal the chainsaw back for at least 3-6 months. 😂
Our next big projects to finish up will be completing the garden moose fence and completing the outhouse that we have been planning and gathering materials for. The time is coming to start seeds for the garden as well!
As always, thank you so much for watching!! We appreciate each and every viewer.

You guys are young, fit, and very capable. Now you are parents, of which you are great. Your decisions are your choices. You are in the environment and understand exactly what are your needs. Just keep doing your best. You both work very hard.

Babies are a Blessing and so cherished but sleeping babies give Mothers a much needed break to have fun doing something towards your end goal, preparing your land to build your cabin . Enjoy your videos so much, another great one!❤️

You all are doing a bang up job. Dont listen to all this 'advice' that people can't help sticking their noses in. Last i seen you are grown adults with intelligent heads. You keep on being you, making awesome videos, and raising that beautiful baby !

My dad made his own saw horses also.. an he made a homemade sheet rock helper stand also you slide sheetrock on it and one side stayed in place an other would be able to lift up sheet rock .. you put a
2x4 etc. Help with holding it up
Especially if your working by yourself. He built it when I was a young girl ..

Thanks for another update, great to see you all doing well! Once the cabin kit arrives and the weather lets you get started, how long do you think it will take with the build to get to the point of at least being dried in?

Becca please when you are cutting down a tree step back from the stump as the tree can go any where it wants and if you are to close it can kick back and bust you up real bad, so try to step back safely as far as possible, i would think at least five feet depending on tree and terrain you are working in.
