Bonnie never deserved woody!!!
its actually not that far off from how kids treat their toys though
Woody left on his own terms
Star Lord I remember Andy not wanting to give woody away. Then like years later Boonie be like oh yeah I lost that toy.
*My favorite part was when they were trying to get dad arrested*
“Dads totally going to jail”
-Buttercup
Good thing the police found out that Bonnie’s dad wasn’t doing anything illegal since he was asleep the whole time! It was the toys who were trying to drive the Andersons’ personal van from the Grand Basin to back at their place.
@@gotemm2.05 .... That part cracks me up!!...lol...
It's A Giraffe!

Mine would be the plushies looming over the sleeping grandma. Just the expressions on their faces killed me.
Honestly, this movie makes me wish Andy just kept Woody.
Same here
Andy gave so much more importance to him, even wanting to bring him to college. Hayst...
Same. I'm 20 years old and still have my favourite childhood toy, it's completely unrealistic to just give it away. At least save it for your own kids! Just like the memories I have of playing with it, I don't think I could ever let go of it.
I kinda hate toy story 3. I really love the 1st and 2nd movie so when I saw the 3rd movie I felt like it didn’t live up to my expectations. I mean it’s a good movie but it just doesn’t feel like toy story to me.
Toy Story 4 was good.... but the ending really sucks tbh
Andy: You took everything from me.
Bonnie : I don’t even know who you are.
Andy: _”Y O U W I L L”_
Leah Kent You’re fun.
Lmao endgame
Bonnie snapped her fingers and only Woody was erased because the rest of the gang was lucky to be on the half that survived the snap.
You gotta stop.
Andy: “Where's Woody?”
Bonnie: “ *G O O D Q U E S T I O N* ”
*Police are still on the look out for a missing toddler*
@Sickle Yeah, regardless of how she was neglecting him during the film, Bonnie still is surely going to notice that Woody is gone. And what happens if Andy comes home from college and ends up visiting Bonnie? He’s definitely going to notice that his favorite childhood toy that he, reluctantly, trusted Bonnie to take care of is now gone.
@@MP-nq9ht that's the plot for toy story 5
He's with a travelling carnival, no doubt it will roll into town when Bonnie starts to worry that he isn't there, as these films always work out in the end.
Andy: I TOLD YOU TO TAKE GOOD CARE OF HIM FOR ME HE WAS VERY SPECIAL TO ME!
Even though the movie had mixed feelings, you can't deny that pixar has improved a LOT with their animations.
The animation is indeed awesome as always. If you compare it to the first film (whose animation of course was also stunning back in the day) you see how much they developed in 25 years.

She didn’t even care that Woody was gone
Wyatt Wistrom Why does everyone keep bashing on this freaking little kid?!! She wasn’t going to play with Woody forever. She was just changing her tastes and having her attention diverted somewhere else. She’s not a bad person for that. NOT AT ALL.
Nicholas Gadson woody meant so much to Andy she could’ve at least just throw woody on a table and forget about her instead of full on getting rid of him
*Andy, doesn't play with Woody for 6-8 years*
Woody: Don't worry, one day guys, one day.
*Bonnie doesn't play with Woody for a week*

I agree with the Super Carlin Brothers’ conclusion:
This movie should’ve been called “Woody”.
The film is more about him than the rest of the toys and is more of an epilogue or a side story than an actual “Toy Story” with all of the toys.
Because Woody was the main character..

This movie was the ToyStory ending we didn't know we needed. Just like life, it puts us on a different path and throws curve balls and is messy and unpredictable. I'm glad it wasn't anything like the previous one, not everything can be solved in a group because we are all fundamentally alone and at the end of the day have to do what is best for us as an individual.
It shows growth from just being a kids toy to actually being more than that. Like how you should do what makes you happy at the end of the day...

Me: Oh definitely, I loved it.
Movie: Am Joke To You?
The one thing I HATED about this movie was how they severely dumbed-down Buzz's personality. I REALLY wanted him to be in there more, but instead they gave the spotlight to Bo Peep--I guess that's not a bad thing, perhaps they could have made up some reason for side-lining him, like he gets injured or something, or even doesn't go on the trip--EXCEPT for the fact that they made him just so dumb! He was as equally as smart and emotionally intelligent as Woody in the other movies, but here he goes around blindly listening to his "inner voice" when he clearly displayed having a real conscience in the previous movies!
Please tell me someone else felt this way!!!
TS 2: buzz leads the toys
TS 3: Buzz gets messed with for half the movie
TS 4: *relies on a voice control to control his actions*
Buzz has a interesting life 😐
I wasn't a big fan of how woody just left the gang like that, and their goodbyes didn't look all that great but meh
To infinity and beyond, that's the best usage of the line ever.
No one was a big fan about it. But Buzz told him listen to his inner voice and we should all know how Woody felt about Bo. Woody literally haven’t seen her in like seven years!
@@ayeedonald629 Meaby 8 or 9, but if we calculate Toy Story 1 released at 1995 and Toy Story 4 at 2019, it means it's 24 years, but it's behind the scenes time.

Ducky and Bunny actually do have the scene he mentioned where they realize they don't want to be with Bonnie. After they nearly get killed by the cat and Bo and Giggles are leaving, they are saying they'll find their own kid. Sure it's not perfect, but it's not like it was completely dropped.
TheCheetahwings also Woody said that Bonnie would be their kid so it made sense for them to follow along.
Yes. But my point is after they are nearly killed, they realize they'd rather find a new kid.
I don't remember them saying that... but thanks for reminding!
Well they also have a post-credit scene...
Also because they wanted to stay away from Woody after he fucked up really bad
Andy: Hey Bonnie, I came to see my old friend that I told you to take good care of! Where is he?
Bonnie: *Gone, reduced to atoms.*
Id love to see a prequel of toystory when woody was new and how he lost his memory of who he was
Short Stack Studios .... How would that work when Andy is a kid himself, given it's a prequel?
I'm pretty sure Woody was actually owned by Andy's dad when he (the dad) was a kid, but still an interesting concept
@@Roadent1241 Woody originally belonged to Andy’s dad.
@@tetraxis3011 Oh yeah, I do remember hearing that, thanks.
Andy: Hey there, I just came through to visit Woody

I loved the beginning. They started the movie just how they started the first one. They pull Woody's string, he says "You're my favorite deputy," and they move him out of the way and the logo shows up.
HdogSSBU and then they proceed to fuck everything up in the end and soil the entire ts3 ending
@@moonsetpictures somebody gets it
Crispy Pringle so glad I’m not the only one. I honestly loved the movie up until Gabby stoke Woody’s voice box. After the way she acted, she deserved to be stuck up on the shelves. Then Bonnie replaces Woody with some dumb fork and basically ruined TS3
toy story 4’s animation is absolutely stunning
So is Lightyear’s
This is the worst toy story movie, because woody goes back on everything he says at the end.
What? That he want to be toy and live the rest of his life serving a child ? He said that he misses Andy...He misses feeling alive. And, just for once, he could get that without needing a child to play with him. Plus i really don't know how Andy getting Woody back would be a good thing. Andy's not a little kid anymore and this movie literally says that Woody WANT to be a lost toy
No this the best movie ever

Woody was never neglected before. He was a favorite until this movie. So it's not that we didnt know we want or need it, it's more like we really didnt want or need it, but we welcomed it.
He was neglected in the first movie when Andy first got Buzz
@@Billy-qw8ub ya
@@Billy-qw8ub Nah man, Andy still loved woody. Unlike Bonnie who just flat out forgot woody and was worried about a spork, Andy was worried for both of them when he couldn't find them. And Andy asked her to take care of Woody the most
Woody is very much matured than the rest. I really feel sorry for him. He was really lost in that show.
Except for the part where he tries his best to keep his voice box, but I guess in the end, he realizes that he's not what he used to be, and so, he willingly gives up his voice box to Gabby Gabby.

Finally a slightly original rendition of this tired joke.
i hope they make a short when andy already has kids and his daughter finds bo and woody on the play ground, and his daughter shows andy what she found, then andy starts having flashbacks, then a smirk shows up,then it fades to black.just an idea.
Yeah, that would be a really atleast nice ending for us viewers who's childhood was them. And then Bonnie was also there, coincidentally, bringing a young brother/sister/kid with Andy's old toys, y'know Buzz, Jessie, Mr. Potatohead, etc.
Yeah.. That would be a nice way to end it.
I didn’t really love this movie like i loved the first 3, don’t get me wrong i liked it but it’s not as great as the others..
This movie wasn’t needed imo..
Yeah, I thought the movie was ok but I didn’t connect with it like I did the first three.
Crazy Smith i just think the concept might have looked better on paper, but the ending was really bad imo because Woody himself has told us all, that the most important thing for toys is for them to be there when they’re needed, and then he just leaves everyone behind..
the villain was also really boring compared to all the others 😩 but now they should fix it with another movie 🤣😂🤣
@@martinchristensen6786 Exactly, Woody isn't needed anymore by Bonnie so he decided to stay with Bo and after helping Gabbie he realised the best thing he can do for other kids is by helping other toys
I'm First Comment Denier at the moment he’s not needed, but he might be needed later on but he always talked about being there for the kids when they needed them because they’re toys and they’re meant to be played with by kids, that’s the thing that kept him going..

@@a_normal_person3087 ya she did
In the beginning of the movie, I had a concept that the toy car should've fell down the sewer from the fail attempt to bring him back. Would've set up a darker more emotional beginning. With that being said this would be the main driving point in Woody's motivation to "bring a toy back home".
"The toy car"
Y'all that was RC and I was bawling enough as it is in that scene.
Huh. That WOULDVE been better. I still liked what we got though.
RC is too cute to die though😢I mean, it would perfectly explain why he wasn't in Toy Story 3. Maybe he should've gotten swept away to create a heart wrenching moment, but you can bring him back as Bo's RC Skunk😂Basically him wearing a costume lol
reminder that its the same car Woody used to push Buzz off the window
Fuk u calling him "the toy car" his name is R.C. and we still don't know wtf happened to him... or lenny
Bonnie in TS3: Please! Give me your cherished toy! GIMME GIMME GIMME!!!! I LOVE HIM!!!
Bonnie in TS4: Oh yeah, That cowboy thing. nah, this spork looks better
Remember kids, if you ever end up running into a girl that you haven’t seen in years that is constantly mean to you now, run away with them instead of staying with your family who loves you because they’re not nearly as important as the girl-This movies message in a nutshell
Ts3: Bonnie demands Andy give her his favourite toy, (a toy so important to him that he was going to take it to college) just because she played with it a bit.
Ts4: Bonnie leaves said toy to rot, never playing with it again, and never even noticing when it's missing (even though Andy made it clear how much it meant to him).
I don't care if she's 5. She completely destroyed a friendship that lasted a lifetime, just so that she could play with a toy for a few months, and neglect it in favour of a spork.
And the fact that she wouldn't have had forky without Woody just pissed me off more
Andy also knew that it was time to grow up and pass down Woody to another child. Sitting on a shelf is no life for a toy to live, especially a toy like Woody. I’m sure Andy would be a bit disappointed but overall, I think that he’d trust Woody being charming enough of a toy that he’d find his own way. (probably thinking another child found him and loved him like Bonnie had in TS3)
@@lovingyou9921 But then at the same time, they just said "I dOn'T caRe iF sHe's 5" and mostly everybody knows that they have a short attention span.
Dylan Kramer
I agree that sitting on a shelf is no life for a toy, and I'm glad Andy realized this.
...However, Bonnie should have known that sitting in a closet is no life for a toy.
I don't have too much of a problem with the fact that Andy gave away Woody, it's just that Bonnie was well aware of Woody's importance to Andy, and still neglected it all the same. Andy literally made Bonnie promise to take good care of Woody, and you can see how that turned out!
@@452pokemaster I understand, and to some degree I do agree. But Bonnie is a child and if it weren't for woody and the other toys, Andy would've been guilty of losing his toys as well. Like Bo Peep said, Toys go missing all of the time. And we've all been guilty of putting a special toy to the side to be forgotten about eventually.

Lol I actually was thinking about how Andy would react to woody being gone after I saw the movie 😅
Woody's character is literally like a child growing up to an adult, and that's what I found very fascinating about this series.
TS1 is a kid envious of the new sibling taking away all the attention, but soon accepts him in the family.
TS2 is a kid who realizes that his youth and childhood isn't going to last, but he learns to make the most of it before going into the nest phase in his life.
TS3 is that next phase finally here, learning to accept it and doing new things, meeting new people and moving forward, like a person going to college far away.
There is an underlying theme in these movies, though, which is pretty much parenthood. The toys needing to be there for their 'kid', making sure they're happy, supported, having someone to go to and see as a friend.
With TS4, the parenthood element finally makes the spotlight, as Woody is now a like parent. His 'kid' has grown up, went to college, is gonna do things he won't be around to see. His purpose was to look after him, but now that the goal is done, what else is there to do? For once, Woody can now think for himself, just like an adult would once their child leaves the nest. Woody finds love, meets new people, travels the world, things a parent is surely to desire once they are done with their job as a parent.
I'll admit that I didn't like Toy Story 3. The ending just felt wrong, if that makes sense. I ended up not watching 4, and seeing this review justifies that decision. Andy should have kept his toys to give to his kids, or at least Woody. Maybe I'm just sentimental, but I hate seeing things get thrown away like this. I'll just stick with Toy Story 2 as the ending of the series.
Sadly, I watched Toy Story 3 and 4 and when both came, I cried cause of the endings. Toy Story 3 felt kinda(?) out of nowhere but I guess I understood since Andy is growing up.
But Toy Story 4? Ugh. I'm sorry but I didn't like it. Probably cause it was my childhood. It just hurts to see the gang part ways.
I also totally forgot about Bo Peep in TS3 so never noticed she was gone til TS4. She legit felt kinda forced to be there and be Woody's ending.
I remember when I was a little kid I was obsessed with Toy Story and I didn’t like Toy Story 3 because of the ending. It had a weird tone for me but when I got older I seemed to except it better. So it was a happy ending then. But THEN, Toy Story 4 came...
I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks the same way.
@@vaughnrob4548 Let me break it down:
1. I personally think it's more about the first conclusion of the other toys, including the main characters (maybe except for Woody).
2. I also personally think that it's more about the second conclusion of the other toys, including the main characters, the (finally) real conclusion of Bo Peep, and the conclusion of Woody. Now, if you're wondering how she became a lost toy, you can watch a short movie about it.
Overall, I don't feel the same way as you do, probably because I'm in a different generation, but I get where you're coming from. Anyways, that's it from me!
Personally, I prefer all of them, since it is about character growth after all, even if that doesn't make any sense to you. Also, you should take reviews with a grain of salt. Yes, reviews are valid, but as LS Mark says, "Go watch [insert movie here] for yourself." That's all from me!
