@@symphonyyy7449 When it comes to an operational definition think about this. Is it clear & is it quantifiable. If a stranger read your operational definition would they be able to immediately understand and replicate your study? If the answer is yes, that means you defined it well For example, lets say your study is about music and it's effects on memory. How do you operationally define the DV of memory? Do you use a memory test? If so, how many questions? Are you measuring it in terms of points? Do you use a behavioural measure? If so, what criteria? A bad operational definition would be: Memory is operationally defined as a memory test given to participants A good operational definition would be something like: Memory will be operationally defined as the participant's scores our of 100 for a memory test which contains 20 questions, each worth 5 marks. Scores above 50 would mean good memory and scores below 50 would mean bad memory ^ This is JUST AN EXAMPLE. In your A-Levels exams you write to the best of your knowledge. As long as the definition makes clear sense, and can be quantified you should be fine.

Sir can make please make video explaining research methods as I'm not very confident about that topic. Thanks for your help and I highly appreciate your hard work.

Hey teach I just wanna say may god bless you and thank you so much for this video My professor at college was awesome, funny and very humble but not very helpful when it came to exams, like yeah if it weren't for him I would've never enjoyed psychology but whenever I gave a test, I'd fail and he'd say I need more detail, improve your answer! What should I improve?! After my mocks he said he's disappointed and I so wanted to say it to his face that it's because of him because he never taught me how to answer the questions After watching your video I believe I've finally understood what I had to write and I can't thank you enough, I gave my exam today with ease and satisfied. Hopefully I win my professor's trust back and I pray you'll stay blessed Thanks fir your help

The question is quite clear, in this case it says describe HOW a case study can INVESTIGATE. So you need to come up with a case study design that answers that question. If the question just asks you to describe the features or benefits of a case study they just write about that without having to make any investigation.
for the question about possible friends name in andrade, Could another effective way to control for this be to ask people after the experiment if they have any friends with those names and if they do, remove that participants data, since it would be very time consuming to have participants list all the names and adjust before the study.

Hello. Sadly, I do not have the time and resources to make a video on research methods. But if you kindly donate to my channel I may be able to produce one.
Hi, thanks a lot for this!! I just have one question for Q10 part b. The participant that is being used for the within subjects design, is it just one from the sample? How did we choose this one participant? Is it based on the results from the study and the one with the highest memory recall is used?
Hello. There is absolutely nothing in the question or in my answer that mentions one participants. I am confused by your question, what do you mean by "one participant"? Question B just needs to identify a weakness and solve it. I identified the weakness as it being between subjects and solved it.
hello Sir could you tell me what makes a study valid and what makes a study reliable. I know what reliability and validity is. just needed to know what makes the study reliable or valid.
Choose test-retest formula to check the reliability. Basically, testing the participants again to check if results are consistent. One of the example is the study from Laney et al about False Memories.
In question 2 (b) there were 40 participants, wouldn't it be very hard to ask each for a list of names of their friends then rule out all those names, because that could be a very long list, instead can't the ask the participants at the end if they heard the names of anyone they knew and removed that participants data? Please answer, cie is tomorrow
Hello. Don't overthink the answer. If you have another solution you may suggest that as well. The question is just asking for a solution, you don't need to evaluate how feasible the solution is. As long as your solution makes sense. If you have found my videos helpful, would you like to donate to my channel?
When you answer an essay question as long as you can provide a good justification for your answer, it should be accepted. In the case of type of experiments go back to your research methodology chapter and see what the weaknesses of a lab experiment are. Can you solve them with a field experiment? If so, explain why a field experiment is the solution. Whether something is correct or not depends on how you structure and justify your answer.
