- Today we did something unique, something we have never done before! Today we went to Universal Studios Orlando!! You knew it was just a matter of time and now it is here! Our 1st time EVER at a park in Orlando Florida that is not Disney....I have to say, I was happily surprised!

I can’t wait for more!! Disney was our first love and holds a special place in our hearts but we LOVE Universal too! My brother in law forced us to go a few years ago and I didn’t want to like it. Then we became pass holders! 😂

Very impressed with the crispness & clarity of the daytime footage with this GoPro! Yea for more details about all things Harry Potter! It’s good to be waking in “newbie” shoes to be refreshed about the learning curve we all go thru when visiting any theme park for the first time.
Michael bro, you have no idea how long I’ve been waiting for this. The universal parks are just as immersive and it’s a pleasure to see you opening up towards non Disney things. Look forward to the next one. Busch gardens is so good as well.

Universal really should rethink their policy on recording on attractions. Doesn’t generate the excitement to make a viewer want to visit their parks.

They did. They chose guest safety over marketing.
They used to, until people got injured repeatedly. Universal rides tend to move faster and with more sudden movements, cameras go flying.
Carlo Rufio ah ok. That makes sense. I wasn’t thinking about the fact that the rides are faster than Disney. But that is true.
I’m so happy you loved universal. It was so fun to see your excitement. Thank you for not apologizing. That’s the benefit of living in Florida, you get to experience all the parks.

Glad to see you move out of your comfort zone and try different and new experiences. I love Disney but I also love Universal. It's like having two kids. You can love them both. I hope you will also try Universal Studios. My favorite ride there is the mummy.

Finally the Kays first trip to Universal. So fun to see your excitement flow over to this park as well. Makes me want to go visit as I've never been there myself.
This was so refreshing to watch. I love when you are at Disney but you know it like the back of your hand pretty much and watching you enjoy new places and spaces is great to see.

Michael, I knew you would love Universal Studios! I've been waiting a long time for you to try it! You've got to try Mythos. My husband and I went there on our honeymoon and it was my BEST EVER dining experience!

It’s so nice to see you venture off Disney property. Universal is amazing and I’m glad you got to see a bit of it. I would definitely recommend an annual pass to see everything at your own pace. This video made me excited for my trip in December. The last time I was at Universal in FL was when they first opened the Wizarding World so I’m very excited to return.
Yayyyy!!!! This video made my morning! So happy you guys loved it! Tip for riding Hagrids, if you get to the gates at 7:30 (on a 9am opening day) and the weather is good you should be off the ride by 9:15ish, that’s what we did on our trip. Also, around 1-2pm if the wait is 120 min or less def get in line, we did that twice and the wait was only 40 min. Also if you guys like hotdogs go to hot dog hall of fame in city walk! SO good!! Can’t wait to see more Universal videos!!

Yaaayyyy!! So glad you finally tried Universal. 😃 I'm a diehard Disney fan, but tried Universal a couple of years ago because my son REALLY wanted to go. So glad we went, I was blown away by the Harry Potter sections of the parks. No it's not Disney, but that's okay, they both have their strengths. Enjoy ALL that life has to offer! Glad you finally headed over to Universal! Enjoying Universal is by no means betraying Disney 😆 We always stop there for a day during our Disney trip!
The new camera did great in daytime lighting and the sound was good as well... it did not however stand up in low light. It was so dark at times, it was tough to see much of anything. Otherwise, glad you guys liked Universal! Harry Potter is one of my wife and I's favorite IP's so it was a no brainer for us to spend time there when we are in Orlando. :)

Although Disney will always be #1 in my heart (51 visits and AP since 2013), I do love a fun visit to Universal. A couple of years ago I had an AP at US also. I am looking forward to seeing you review more attractions and food in your future visits. It looks like you had a great time!

YES!! You guys have to go to Universal as well next time, ride the train over to Diagon Alley! And be sure to try all the food in Hogsmeade and Diagon Alley, especially Honeydukes!

Michael I would definitely look into getting the Universal Orlando Premier Pass and purchase the yearly photopass as well.
The UOPP gives you express press to all the rides after 4pm it very different then the fast passes to WDW. You do not need a time to go into a ride with the express pass.
The photopass is worth it ... My cousin is a annual passsholder and I just became one myself this past trip...she purchased one photopass for $150 for the year and it gave her three cards ...the photopass people just "scan" that card for every photospot you see.

Oh also Hagrids definitely try and do that ride first thing in the morning. You might not even get onto the ride till 10:30 because it's a 2 hour wait time.

Michael, you gotta ride The Hulk. That is a really fun coaster! Also, I don't know if it's still there, but there was an attraction with Poseidon that has some really awesome water effects.

You have got to go back and get Voodoo doughnuts it's a must. Maple bacon bar and their Voodoo men are the ones I liked the most a lot of them are really good it's worth the long line and wait.

The video quality is great! I've only been to Universal once and I definitely enjoyed it. However, it was also back in the day when Nickelodeon Studios was still there with the slime fountain and it made my life.
