Michael you forgot to get your button! First time at Disney as A Florida Resident! I love ❤️ seeing the excitement on your face! You truly are the reason Walt came up with this magical place! Enjoy!
You are definitely living the dream🏰! I would love to have a NO rush, layed back experience at Disney. One day hopefully! Until then, I'll keep watching. You guys are great and love that your still representing MD. Sunscreen tears 🤣 and all!
Love it!! Just a quick tip- when going to both MK and Epcot, park at Epcot if you’re going to end the night there. You can take the monorail to MK, back to Epcot, then your car is there waiting for you. 👍
Yay! Such a happy moment! First parks as Florida residents, and it's so cool that you got to capture that moment. One tip about parking: when you are directed into your row, if you go down to the end of your row, where the trams are, there is the lot character and a number. Take a picture of that so you can find your car easily when you leave. The numbers progress so you can just count up or down to it. So excited for you both. 🎆°o°🎆
When we park we either text the location of the car to someone else we are with, or take a picture of the row you’re parked in. Best way to remember. It’s fun watching you figure out new ways to do things there!
SO awesome to watch you guys experience MK through a locals eyes! What a great first park day as FL residents! We have been renting a vehicle the out last few visits to WDW and it is definitely different to get used to taking the trams. We usually take a picture of the end of the row of which we are parked so we don't forget. Thank you for sharing! 😁
You guys are very lucky to have been there so many times. I’ve been lucky enough to have been there only once. But the dream is still there, I might go back again and meet you in person. Enjoy every single moment you are there!
@@DaveKay you will really be wanting some shorts in a quick dry material the first time you are caught in jeans in a torrential downpour. Walking in wet jeans is not fun. Lol
@@JourneyTogetherToday well, the important thing at Disney is to be comfortable...whatever that may be, long or short, just be comfortable and have fun!
Michael you might have already heard about this but there is a really, really nice town a little north of downtown Orlando called Winter Park. There are so many fun things to do/eat (the restaurants there are incredible!) there and I would really recommend going there to see what it has to offer. Also the Saturday farmers market there is great!
I can understand that feeling when I go through the gate as a DVC member and the lights turn purple and the cast member says WELCOME HOME.💖 (Suncreen in my eye moment) 🤗
Hi from Maryland!! 😎 It's so warm here it's almost like being in Florida...ok, maybe I'm just trying to console myself. 😉 We're moving to Florida in 3 years, you make me want to move RIGHT NOW!! Thanks for your videos, they're all great, but I'm especially enjoying your moving journey. BTW, take a pic of your row number in the parking lot, you'll never get lost again. 😃
Kinda sad to see how excited he was here. I don’t think he ever anticipated how quickly his Disney perspective would change;for the worse) living so close. It’s never coming back.
It cam come back. I would have simply not gone to disney every day. Perhaps limit it to once or twice a week? One weekday and one weekend. The only thing that bothers me is that he talked about family and community and then just abandoned them. He owes us nothing... he doesn't have to do anything (ovviously). But a quick video about him stepping away would have been appreciated. Ps I go back to watch his older stuff all the time... still does well.
@@anthonycoughlin9339 I agree. There’s a lot of speculation to why he stepped away/stopped showing himself on camera or not disclosing who he was with (which is fine) but he just sort of abandoned everyone. Stopped replying to comments. Sad how it unfolded bc his old stuff is terrific. I def watch many of his pre Florida move trips and cruises. Good stuff.
Just LOVE these vlogs, Michael, David, Dad, Michelle, Mom, grma, you living in FL, your love for Disney, your consistency in putting up videos every day. You deserve way more subscribers. Here’s to million more 🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳
We were there the same night💗...ate at Skipper's at 9:00 and went outside to watch the fireworks. Loved the fireworks from there! You should look into doing the Pirate Adventure Game for fast passes. I have been going for years... and never knew about it until this year. Very cool. So many cool things like that to do at the various parks...park gaming right up Dave's alley! Thanks for the find your car app idea!
you show GREAT taste when it comes to restaurants. we ALWAYS eat the the harbor house when we are at the MAGIC KINGDOM. We always eat upstairs and by the window, so we can view the haunted mansion and the mark twain. GREAT views up there!
Hi guys, I just wanted to say that it is really inspiring to me to see you living your dreams. You mentioned some of your fears and doubts - and who knows how long you will live in Orlando - but none of that matters because what is amazing to me is that you really wanted something and you made it happen! It makes me feel better about my own dreams - I should just do it! Thank you for sharing your experiences with us - I hope you enjoy every moment and find some new magic everyday!
Absolutely love your reaction to everything. So sweet and genuine!!! I’m so happy and excited for you and David!!!! Love the videos you and your brother put out!!!! Thank you so much.
I love looking back at these videos! My wife, daughter, and I are Florida residents, but we are about 4-5 hours from the magic. we plan on moving within the next couple years to the orlando/kissimee area and will get to experience the magic all the time as well!!
That’s funny , sunscreen in eye . Not crying 😢. That’s what I would enjoy is to relax threw the park . Which we did on our last vacation 2017 . Just watched people , seen things we didn’t see before . It was awesome . Enjoy . Nice to see you & David have fun .
Tears of sunscreen. So magical. lol I could seriously do a drinking game to your vlogs since the move. Florida Resident have a drink. lol Your excitement for this move has been amazing.
Great 1st day!! Columbia Harbor House is our go to in the MK. I love the lobster roll there, it's a great value. Love that spot for fireworks. Thanks for sharing.
Don't worry about unpacking boxes...we've lived in our house for over a year & I've still got a few boxes that haven't been unpacked! =P Glad you guys are having a magical time in your new home!
We're so glad you ate at Columbia Harbour House. We'll be eating there on Tuesday. My son already said he's having the chicken and shrimp. Fireworks looked amazing!
I have been a 40 plus year Disney vacationer. Have not parked a car in a theme park parking lot for some time. The biggest tip I can give you gentleman is park at a resort. If for example your going to MK, park at the Grand Flo and tell them your having lunch or breakfast at the Cafe. If going to Epcot or Hollywood Studios, park at Beach Club, Boardwalk or Yacht Club and tell them your going to ESPN or some other restaurant then walk in the international gateway. Much less running around and very convenient. Lots of different ways of getting to the theme parks without putting up with trams and long lines. For example in this video you could parked at the Contemporary (via lunch at the wave) and just walked to your car.
What you can do for parking.. vs using the app... text your self the row and section before getting on the tram... such as Scar Row 26... the row numbers are painted on the concrete by the tram line
I think that u will love living in Florida. I have lived in Florida for my whole life and I go to Disney world at least 2 times a year. Have fun being a Florida resident!
I wonder if you would consider keeping a log of the number of times you go to the parks to see how many visits until/if the experience changes? I bet it would still feel like vacation for a while but at a slower pace. Kind of like when you move to any new city or home, how many days does it take before calling "home" seems normal.
Charles Reinmuth that is true. One can certainly retrospectively look back and count the visits but it may be easier to count them as you go. I also wonder if it would be more a matter of time spent in Florida or time spent in the parks before that “vacation” feeling subsides. For example I have lived in a number of cities for work and schooling that never felt like “home”. Time spent in each in each city was variable but the “home” feeling was not solely time dependent as there were cities I lived in for years that I have never considered “home”.
I'm looking for a good spot to watch fireworks other than Main St during my trip in 12 days!! Adventureland seems like a good pick! Then you're not surrounded by people, you get a new perspective, and you can sneak off to get another ride in after hahaha
