I am French too and I must deliver a message. Islamophobia created hatred towards your people, I know it because my family are so scared that they just categorized everyone since we got so much trouble with terrorism, women who aren’t Muslim and are harassed because they are driving, wearing their clothes etc… And there was this incident where muslim mane were killed by an other believer because they were drinking alcohol ? I mean people feel so much insecure in France and because of the origin of most of troublemaker if I could say it this way, people became scared and hated on other. It gives a very bad image of muslim who for most of them are well integrated, really nice polite people. FRANCE is supposed to be a country where you can believe in whatever religion, you can wear whatever you want, the country of freedom. In both way muslim should not get hate and people who don’t believe should not get bad insult either. We choose the way we want to live and no one should impose their religion or their beliefs on anyone. It goes both way and I am sorry sincerely for people who suffer from hatred going both ways. Please do know that not only muslim get hate also Jew, people with no religion, women. France became a country of hate from every one though there is so much nice French people. It is too bad. 😢
@@darrenscott6982 I actually don’t think so. I personally love France even if we have a lot of insecurities, violence, hatred well it is still a very good country, beautiful history, culture, most of the people are nice even if there are still well bad racist judgy people everywhere. As a French who has no religion even if I feel insecure (not because of Muslim but because of people with no education and respect, we forget to mention all the young troublemaker we have from all backgrounds, rich poor, white, black, religion or not, it’s just non educated people with no respect) I like this country. As a mixed person I love to see that much diversity in our country, in my university there is many people of many different origins and it’s cool to talk about it and exchange. Sadly not everyone is this open to other ethnicities, cultures or religions. But it’s everywhere America, England, Germany, Asia and even in Muslim countries, there is not a single place where you won’t find racism somewhere. Maybe not that much for sure but I still hope that things will slowly get better, France is my home after all even with its flaws and its not that good politician 😅🤷

When you strive for the truth which is Allah swt people will attack you because the world hates the truth. It’s really cowardly for people to attack women.
It's not about the world hating the truth. Some people do not accept difference and that women should be free to wear whatever they want. Sadly veiled women get attacked by racists in France, and Iranian women get attacked by their own government for refusing to veil . In both cases , it's not about the truth, it's about people who think that they know better and that women should dress in a certain way that is deemed acceptable in that nation, veiled in Iran , and unveiled in France .

There are now no-go areas in Sweden b/c of the violence and crime that some Muslim immigrants brought in. France does not want to become part of that.
As a French Muslim, we are proud of what you have done. But in truth, if it made so much noise, it's because you are known on the networks, otherwise the media ignore this kind of aggression towards hijabis. As French Muslims, unfortunately, this kind of aggression, sometimes verbal and sometimes even more violent, doesn't happen just once... So it's difficult to file a complaint each time, especially when we don't have proof. and we know that the French state will not defend us. I got called to the principal when I was 14 because I was wearing a long dress (it wasn't an abaya) and he threw it at me for I don't know how many minutes. I was born in this country, I was educated there, I have my family and my friends here. But this constant unhappiness, being constantly discriminated against in my own country, makes us want to go far away from here. and I have a lot of hijabi friends, no one wants to stay in France, we all want to leave, we don't want our children later to suffer the same thing we experienced.

A man decided to lean all the way out of his car window to stare at me, went around the block and sped past me again blowing his horn. It was scary enough that I removed my headscarf and went home immediately (I’m a recent revert and my confidence took a hard hit but alhamdulillah I wear my head scarf almost 100% now)
What surprised me it that your friend is so used so it, and that people in general are used to it in France (if I have to think of a comparison, I’d say as we - women - are unfortunately used to being cat called in the streets. However, I must also say that as a Christian, I have been spat on and insulted by Muslim residents in Muslim countries like Egypt and Morocco. It would be really nice if racism and discrimination didn't happen anywhere in the world.
There's a reason why French people at work, at social events, at school, all stick together and speak their own language even if they're not in France. They have a hive/gang mentality. At every company I've worked at, my French coworkers would have lunch, drinks and hang out only with themselves and ignore everyone else. That's not to say they won't talk to you, but they treat you as if you're an outsider. Recently, a new guy who isn't French came into the office and he only started learning the language and now all of a sudden they think he's one of them too.

French is a Catholic/Christian-centered country, how can it be oppressing Islam? If you go to a Muslim country, then Christians in those countries can say the same thing, right? At least in France, Muslims can have Mosques. Can't say the same for Christians in Muslim countries.
@faa1412 France is a secular country. The percentage of Catholics is way lower than that of agnostics and atheists. It's historically Catholic but no longer socially or politically Catholic. And yes, it has mosques , it has tv shows that celebrate Ramadan, it has one of the largest Muslim communities in Europe, and many French people are very tolerant towards religious differences. The fact that racism exists doesn't mean that the country is oppressing Islam. Its secularism is based on the idea that religions could oppress people, and thus, they should be protected. It protects people from religions by establishing a secular public sphere and secular governance, because they were oppressed by the Catholic Church in the past.

@MinhaMehrin528 I think you missed my point, but yes I agree with you.

3:06 OMG FRICK HIM im so proud of you for confronting him and im also hijabi and i wouldn't be able to do what you did ur so powerful and im proud of u 😘😘
They don't even talk when you don't speak their language is very correct. As soon as you mention English I speak, they lose interest on you. Some even get suprise if you don't speak their language. They think the whole world speak their language.
Taking a stand like this is also great for ur own wellbeing I remember I had an incident and I always wished I at least got up and defended myself to feel good to say I stood up and did that for me instead of feeling inferior
Note to future me : Never visit France
That's such a horrible thing, I'm so sorry that happened, and I hope you know how amazing you are for chasing him down, he was looking scared fr❤
I'm truly sorry for you; this behavior from people is disgusting and nothing can defend or justify it. However, I must also say that as a Christian, I have been spat on and insulted by Muslim residents in Muslim countries like Egypt and Morocco. It would be really nice if racism and discrimination didn't happen anywhere in the world.
Stay safe and well done for getting him on camera. Im sorry you had to go through this
Can’t be surprised this sort of stuff happens in a country with a very Islamophobic leader. My respect for France has gone down even more
thats so messed up, your so strong sister may Allah deal with those like that guy. 💓💓
Recently, a new guy who isn't French came into the office and he only started learning the language and now all of a sudden they think he's one of them too.
you are extreamly strong wallahi you inspire me soo much i
Thank you for being so patient!! If that was me, my anger issues could NEVER?!
Bravo Spain for being civil, not being Islamophobia. I'm coming to Spain for vacation Aamiin see you soon my beautiful good behavior people of Spain viva la Spain..
Where in Spain ?
@@ruskov5685in Europe it's in the "middle" let's just say middle of France and Portugal
I’m not Muslim but oppression of Islam is the main reason I’ve recently started having a more negative view on France over time.
Thank you for posting this, people should be more aware of Islamophobia
Islamophobia is so often happening here in Germany too, I'm used to it. It's so sad, but my actual surprise is when people act kindly towards us ..
Very disgusting Shame on him, and you have good running pace 🏃🏻♀️
very disgusting the current muslim invasion, we are just waking up
i am so sorry this happened to you sister :( Thank you so much for showing that women SHOULD file a complaint and report it to the news, even if we think they will not stand with us
Fatima, This is really an act of braveness for standing up for yourself, you are brave and keep going 💪, dont let something like this stop you from having fun and being yourself. Much love from India 🥰

Thank you for speaking up!❤❤❤
I'm so sorry this happened to you, Fátima. I remember when we did our masters in Arab and Islamis studies in Madrid, we would take the French laicité model as the perfect example of racism, comunitarism and segregation. They dont care being open about persecuting Islam
Vrm un pays de raciste, iam myself a hijabi living in Paris and I can tell you its sooo hard to face all this hate on a daily basis
