- Viking tour company's "Grand European Tour" starting in Amsterdam and ending in Budapest. Fifteen days of cruising on their long boats and visiting cities along the Rhine, Mainz, and Danube rivers. A wonderful trip through the Netherlands, Germany, Austria, and Hungary.
The trip is in two videos... Part 1 and Part 2.

Great video. We also did the Grand European in 2019. Learned so much and saw so much. Viking was great and even when low water forced us to switch ships, it was done effortlessly. Made new friends. Great memories.
River cruising is my favorite way to tour Europe. My bicyling days are over. Get on board your moving hotel, with almost fine-dining, manageable number of guests. I've done several and they are all similar in layout and quality and tours offered. Check out all the river tour operators and make your choice. Good value when you consider the convenience, inclusions and effortless way to travel.
We’ve been there - You did a very good job videotape, very realistic!!!!
Good film work.
Thank you for putting this together. I'm considering a river cruise next year. Just deciding on which one.
Have fun!
Great Video, what month did you go on this trip?
great videos. Looks like they were done by a professional editor.
I love Würzburg. I could easily live there.
Is there a cruise company that serves good food and nice wine? I don't like eating in a cafeteria and I don't drink cheap wines.
Nicely done.. What video maker did you use to create the video and special effects. Also, what device/camera did you use to film the video?
Used VSDC Video Editor, free edition.... GoPro 7 Black camera
What were your cruise dates? We are going June 2022.
First weeks of June
@@LesStark41 Thanks - it helps to see the weather conditions and what everyone is wearing!
June is beautiful there I went in 2017 it was never hotter than 74
We were in early June also.
Went on Viking, will never go on it again, too complicated a journey.
So, don’t just drop that comment - tell us what you didn’t like.
Omg we thought just the opposite!! Never having to change from hotel to hotel.. Viking taking care of all the reservations of what we wanted to do.
@@Chris-lv7uj Yes Viking service, is what you are paying for, it is the best, but at a steep price.
These cruises are grossly over priced.
We all have choices…
@@jimgray1094 I had no choice, i had to go in order to take care of my disabled parents.
@@davehenderson3739 I understand.. The cruises are a bit pricey, but when we considered everything that came with the price, plus the service and quality Viking offers, we thought it was well worth it.
@@jimgray1094 Well yes i was very impressed with the service, but compared to an ocean cruise it is very pricy.
@@davehenderson3739 by the time you add all the excursions on ocean cruise, it evens out in the end
