  • The Savage MultiFlex Light Stand is the most versatile light stand I have ever seen. Not only can it be used as a normal light stand, but it can shape itself into situations no other stand can do. You can put it practically flush to a corner, slide it under furniture or use it on uneven terrain. You will always know that the Savage MultiFlex Light Stand is level thanks to the built-in bubble level. The hardware is solid, sturdy, and quite heavy. Of course, it's always recommended to and weights to your light stand when being used on terrain that's not perfectly flat or when outside.

We appreciate the in-depth review of our MultiFlex Light Stand, and are happy to hear it's now an important tool in your gear bag! With additional use, sliding the leg up and down will become smoother on the track. 👍 Thanks, Scott!

Prove it with your strobe attached . ....in the wind outside

Outside you'd put a sandbag, waterbag, or some other weight on the legs to counter wind. So that aspect doesn't change. the only thing that changes is the ability to have the legs on a stable angle, which is in its benefit. Combine that with the weights and you're definitely more sturdy than a standard light stand.

@@scottwyden is it the only product out on the market that does these flexible legs or are there other brands that do the same thing ?

You should rent one to try it to see if you like it.

@@scottwyden probably costs 100 dollars to rent . Not cost efficient. My issues is that its probably not sturdy in wind and will get knocked down potentially breaking a strobe if you're shooting on concrete
