Add Voice Control to your Stream using Streamer.bot

No problem, streamer bot has you covered.
Any action you can define in the bot can be triggered with voice control, so you can switch OBS scenes with voice, trigger moderation commands with voice, play media or add voice filters or control snapchat filters, all with voice. Pretty cool!
Continuing my series of streamer tutorials, I demonstrate how to add voice control to your stream so you can control any action within Streamer.bot by voice.

Hi, thanks for this video. Nevertheless, I had to face a specific issue of which I found the solution. I created a voice command that allows me to get 40s vertical clips when I stream. However, sometimes Streamerbot didn't enter the keyboard shortcuts I set up.
So I decided to open Streamerbot as an administrator and then, it fixed that problem. 👍
Yes I ran into this myself using streamer bot to sent keyboard shortcuts to Snapchat to activate camera filters. If both programs were not running as administrator they only worked intermittently.
Come to think of it, that may be the issue I’m having with my push to mute issue with streamer bot and discord… hmmm

not able to get it to work on the version 02.2 the newst one as of now and i am not able to get voice commands to work and in logs all it thinks i say is the words the and fifth if your able to help much appriciated if not thanks for the amazing content
What isn’t working? Main difference would just be assigning the voice command to the action via a trigger.
As for voice recognition having trouble understanding you… that’s a whole separate problem, and I could speak for a while about it haha.
So it just says I’m saying 3 words the,of,and fifth but only with this one headset so idk why does it with tho it’s better then even my laptop mic
when i try to put a voice command I cant select an action, when I go to actions I cant select what buttons I want to go off. How do i fix this?
this is all handled through triggers now. in your action there is a triggers panel in the top right and you can choose Core -> Voice Control -> Command and choose the voice command you want to assign to that action

My streambot is detecting completely rubbish from my mic. I have lowered the mic volume to 50% but that didn't work either. It just keeps detecting "fifth" and "threat" and "if" or "of". No clue why that is happening, and I haven't been to solve the issue yet. :/
This is just how it is, unfortunately. It uses windows voice recognition software in the background, which does have some “training” options, but at the end of the day you need to just make very simple specific phrases as commands. You cannot rely on it for dictation whatsoever.
@@Phlare Ah alright. Fair enough. After all, I need it to recognise only specific phrases and not everything I say as though I'm dictating a whole essay. Haha... Thanks for the super helpful videos, btw!
The Voice Control section is completely grayed out. I do have a mic set up and Streamer Bot works with OBS andmy Twitch. Do you have any idea why this is the case?
I can’t access my computer until this evening, but I think in voice control tab there is a settings area where you need to choose the microphone source and stuff.

One notice on the documentation page: If the controls are unavailable make sure a supported display language is installed and available in the Speech Recogniser control panel applet

on the current version of streamer.bot, there is no way to add a action to the voice control command i created. How is this accomplished in the current version?
So as if 2.2 when you assign things to actions you do it using triggers on the action itself.
My video explaining the 2.0 changes goes through it in more depth using a command as an example, but the gist is the same for voice commands

I can't find anywhere in the current documentation for streamber.bot or tutorial or video that shows how to use voice control feature in streamer.bot version 0.2.1. Do you know how i get a voice command to trigger or how to use it with a action or subaction? I cant find a way to connect the two things together. I am trying to make it so that what i say gets sent to twitch chat, if thats even possible. any help regarding voice commands period would be greatly appreciated! Thank you in advance!
I’m not at my computer so I can’t give the exact names but on the action that you want to trigger using voice control, you would right click in the upper right panel labelled triggers, and then find the voice control trigger in the menus.
From there you should be able to select an existing voice command or create a new one, and connect it to your action
