THANK YOU for making a video on this powerful but confusing program! My fav thing I've made with it is a "secret assistant" TTS that I have tied to a "first chat message" trigger. So when someone enters chat and speaks for the first time, I hear a voice (JUST in my headphones) that says "%user% entered chat" and I can welcome them even if I'm focussed on something in the game, and I don't miss any of my regulars. I have it set to disable for 5 mins after a raid to keep things from getting too overwhelming!
I have been trying to figure this all out for ages and finally someone with a bigger brain like Nutty has given us instructions! When I get this all sorted out, I will be sure to come back and comment how my stream is now cursed with my chat actually yelling at me.
This video was super easy to follow! Thank you Nutty! Some people have TTS mascots on their channels (kinda like what you did with Critikal there) So maybe if you still want to make another video on this, you could make a tutorial abt how one would set this with Streamer bot or Mix it Up bot!
nutty don't let others make you insecure, even if no-one watches a video or millions watch and no-one understood the first step, you are valid and keep doing videos even if you will end up homeless. Oh...
Not too complicated. Good video Nutty! I've been using Speaker Bot since it was called Twitch Speaker, been using the default Windows voices though out of sheer laziness. I'm really keen for the google doc pdf tutorial thing.
Nutty, I'm really stuck. Adding speech engines to Speaker Bot is not obvious at all and your PDF link in the description takes me to a Discord error message. How do I get the User ID and API Key?
Uberduck and TTS.Monster do not require your personal details but yes, I'd rather be upfront about it because the process is quite lengthy and I don't want you to put in all the effort just to find out later.
Was already using speakerbot with TTS Monster because I was too afraid to do any paid stuff. But thanks to that almighty Google doc I might branch out and add more fun (aka voices) to the stream. Big thank you, awesome video as always.
Thank you mister streamer man, I love watching your stuff for ideas! Even though I moved away from twitch as a platform, I know I can use this on here at least :D
Did not really fully understand this. Legit had to read the PDF to learn how it's done. Thank you. But now I want to use it as like a queue system where example, someone donates "bits" or "cheers" I can press a button on stream deck and go through the queue to see/hear what the person had said.
This is wonderful timing, thanks Nutty!! I recently made a TTS pet with Speaker bot but stuck with default tts because I was worried about paying for other engines. Now that I know I want to make more characters for different alerts!
Super glad you made this so easy to understand. been trying to find a way to use uberduck on my streams for quite some time. So will definitely use this tutorial in the near future! :D
This is what I was actually looking for, it is very easy except for the part of connecting with the voice engines, it's just boring. And thanks to you nutty, I just got partnered with Twitch out of the stream upgrade I had since starting watching your videos. Keep it up man
I’m def going to use this. I’ve been trying to give my ign character a voice to go alongside a short clip as a redemption. Thank you. I’ll let you know how it goes.
Thank you for the video. Played around for like a few hours a few weeks ago and I really hoped there was an ElevenLabs option, but sadly not or not yet. Let's hope someone makes this happen, because ElevenLabs is just so darn good and as many other services has free characters. Not 1 million, but for the 3 viewer andy streamers, a few thousand characters is enough.
I ended up here looking for how to draw in 11Labs for Twitch use. Not found how to yet but I know that a couple of streamers do use it and have mentioned it during their streams. Good luck.
Very great video, bro. You've been my most present coach on everything I add to my stream. Thank you very much for the awesome and helpful content! I even added the rewind thing from way back! Lol (Although I don't use it much, as it drains my RAM, and usually, when playing AAA games the RAM cost is already too high, + streaming + TouchPortal + Streamlabs Chatbot for commands and my own bot for commands, I go at about 20 to 25 GB of used RAM, and at 28, 29 either the livestream or the game just crashes)
Thank you nutty! I have it all working and am wondering if you know how to get the ms edge voices on speaker bot? I found that a few of the neural voices from edge, sound more natural than google's 😅
Hey from a fellow long-haired Filipino brother, thanks for making such stellar tutorials. Much validated. Also, should I get my hair cut, man summer is hot lol.
Very clear video, thanks Nutty! Have you ever had any issues with speaker bot not appearing in the vod or clips? I think it only happens in my longer actions, but I can't figure out why!
Hello, i use a mascot that speak a TTS command in streamerbot. Is there a command in "sub-actions" to set a waiting that the TTS Speaking is end to start the follow sub-action ? Thanks :)
Ok, I got everything up and running, but my speakerbot reads out the variable "percent ad length percent seconds of ads" instead of reading the variable. HALP!
I don't think it was complicated enough. Needed more nerd jargon and code. Serioiously, though .This was great. Can this also be used to read out user input messages? That would be a handy thing to cover if yes.
i wanted to use the speaker bot on my macbook for streaming and driving but i think ther is no mac os version any tipps how i can get the whole chat to speak
Create a chat command in the "Command" tab in Streamer.bot and put "Moderators" in the "Allowed" column. Then just create an action in the "Actions" tab to do the text to speech.
yes this can be done whether you are using speakerbot by itself or with streamerbot in control, you can set permissions for specific users, or groups (VIP, Subscriber, Moderatator etc). You can also have it so that specific voice aliases go to different sound output devices, so for example you could give your moderators the ability to talk to you but without the stream hearing it
I had the same issue. I finally figured out I could just join the discord server normally and find it. It's in the # resources channel, it's the most recent message in there atm.
It doesnt need any connection to the streaming software, you can use OBS, Streamlabs, XSplit, PolyPop or anything you like, the bots connect independantly direct to twitch / youtube
Okay Nutty, I have a challenge for you!! How would I set up a AI bot using commands with live text to speech from what any user types in chat with the command... for example "!rogan Hey Nutty thanks for the video, yeah yeah yeah."
You just create the chat command in Streamer.bot. Make a new action. In sub actions, add a "Speaker.bot > Speak" sub action and type in %rawInput% as the message. In triggers, add a "Core > Commands > Command Triggered" trigger After that, your viewers can type "!rogan balls" and Joe Rogan will say "balls".
Does this wait for automod approval before speaking with redeems or regular chat? I've had that issue with basically every TTS and I've had to shut them off for risk of breaching TOS
If Twitch automod itself is catching the message it should wait until the message is approved, however if it is a channel point redeem that might go around it. Also users can find interesting ways of spelling words that will get around filters. no system is 100% foolproof but there is also a bad words filter in speakerbot itself so you can layer up your protections. As to TOS, providing you as the streamer is actively seen to not condone the content the chat user has put out and takes appropriate moderation action you are covered. Additionally, unlike some TTS solutions you have chat commands you or your mods can run to skip and silence TTS even mid message if needed
bahahahaaa. "you must be new here" Yup, never heard of streamer bot, 2nd time watching your video, but searched you by name bc of your streamdeck video from a year ago so, see, that sh* works
Give me money on Patreon, I want to be rich.

What a great idea totally adding this
Hey, Can you tell me how you added the TTS for just for your headphones? Whenever I add to OBS, it plays on Desktop Audio source and everybody listens
Video was not too complicated, thank you for creating this!

I have been intending to research this for a while and this video made it so I could put in less effort. Very cool.
Not too complicated. Good video Nutty! I've been using Speaker Bot since it was called Twitch Speaker, been using the default Windows voices though out of sheer laziness. I'm really keen for the google doc pdf tutorial thing.
cool stuff. im committing myself to this whole journey of making my stream really interactive. Thanks homie
Am I the only person who noticed the absolute S-Tier edit at 1:36?
Thanks Nutty! I’ve been struggling to get a decent TTS to work on my stream. Your video and PDF guide was easy to follow and got me up and running!
You skipped the part where you connect streamer.bot to speaker.bot in integrations. Took me HOURS to figure it out.
Did not want to put in my credit card details but still watched the entire video for the algorithm etc.
Straightforward, broski. I will set this up after I come back from Canada.
awesome video! But I can't open the pdf. it shows a blank discord page
Nutty, I'm really stuck. Adding speech engines to Speaker Bot is not obvious at all and your PDF link in the description takes me to a Discord error message. How do I get the User ID and API Key?
bro collected the bag and said fuck this video
U go to uberduck log in and go to ur profile and go to account and then to to api key
glad to see that you told us before hand that we had to put personal info, thanks.
Uberduck and TTS.Monster do not require your personal details but yes, I'd rather be upfront about it because the process is quite lengthy and I don't want you to put in all the effort just to find out later.
Great video ... definitely want to use this more and get it to where it'll be fun for chat
Seems simple enough, will see how it goes when put into practice.
Thanks as always /endValidation
Was already using speakerbot with TTS Monster because I was too afraid to do any paid stuff. But thanks to that almighty Google doc I might branch out and add more fun (aka voices) to the stream. Big thank you, awesome video as always.
I'm here to validate you strimmer. I actually got useful info from this.

i couldnt find the pdf
Was a good intro to tts... And very nice of you, make a Doc too... So, good work!
This is wonderful timing, thanks Nutty!! I recently made a TTS pet with Speaker bot but stuck with default tts because I was worried about paying for other engines. Now that I know I want to make more characters for different alerts!
Thank you, Nutty! We love you! ❤
This is exactly what I've been looking for! Thanks! can't wait to set it up
Video made it easy and you have my gratitude. May the force be with you, always
Super glad you made this so easy to understand.
been trying to find a way to use uberduck on my streams for quite some time. So will definitely use this tutorial in the near future! :D
Perfecto Video nutty!! totally wasy to understand, we appreciate you got up at 7am jajaja
Thanks again nutty!

Watched the video and immediately going to my computer to set this up.
Wheres the google doc? or am i just dumb
I’m def going to use this. I’ve been trying to give my ign character a voice to go alongside a short clip as a redemption. Thank you. I’ll let you know how it goes.
Finally I can add a Filipino auntie simulator to my stream, thank you
thanks for your honesty, tapped out at 1:50. see ya next week. (still gonna let the video roll in the bg for the algorithm, tho) 🤙
TY king
Not all speech engines need CC info, there are some basic free voices built into windows that you can use with speakerbot
Love your content you're a huge freaking help. Making thigs clearer, more approachable and understandable... the discord link seems to be dead though.
I think the pdf link is broke or something just oepns to a page that says no text channels.. help
Broseph, I can't seem to access the link to the PDF instructions. It's trying to send me to a discord, but when I go to the link, nothing populates.
Thanks for the awesome video Nutty!
hey, where in the discord can I find the PDF? like.. witch tab??
Validation.
Also, your 'Don't' edit was incredible. 10/10
External Validation: Great Job!!!!

The video was very helpful and easy to follow. Also thanks for putting the PDF together !
Going to have to look into getting streamerbot now
How do i set this up for a channel point redeem? i want it to read what they type
Thank you nutty! I have it all working and am wondering if you know how to get the ms edge voices on speaker bot?
I found that a few of the neural voices from edge, sound more natural than google's 😅
actually this was super helpful 😀i needed that thank you !
Thank you!
Thanks for the lesson!
The PDF file is no longer accessable @nuttylmao
This is really cool, but I wish I didn’t need to have streamer.Bo’s since I’m already using Sammi and have been delaying moving everything over😅
That was superb! It works !!!!!!!!!!!
If I wanted the tts to read chats message, what would be the variable for that? I can not figure this out!
Hey from a fellow long-haired Filipino brother, thanks for making such stellar tutorials. Much validated. Also, should I get my hair cut, man summer is hot lol.
I'm not cutting mine but whatever will make you feel like a king 👑👑
Easy to understand, thank you
Great explanation. Thanks for the video!
I have been trying to do this for so long but all the solutions are soooo annoying, thank you for this!
Love how bro literally got a sponsorship from a pirated Windows code distributor OMGEGALOL xD
Super useful! TYSM!
Very clear video, thanks Nutty! Have you ever had any issues with speaker bot not appearing in the vod or clips? I think it only happens in my longer actions, but I can't figure out why!

Seems cool, needs more UA-cam benefits though. (I'm not on Twitch cause my channel is about making stuff)
Hey Nutty, google doc PDF link is broken, could you repost?
Hey Nutty! How do you omit the sound to your desktop to everyone to hear in games?
Keep getting an error each time I try to add the speech engine "Unable to add Google, check credentials." Anyone else?
Ok, I got everything up and running, but my speakerbot reads out the variable "percent ad length percent seconds of ads" instead of reading the variable. HALP!
is there a way to streamer bot speaker bot not read nightbot chat from youtube livestream chat?
love ur videos!
I did set it up, but I cant manage to avoid the TSS reading a very long message, or to avoid the TTS reading the emotes. Any help here?
the link to the speech engine PDF isnt working
I don't think it was complicated enough. Needed more nerd jargon and code. Serioiously, though .This was great. Can this also be used to read out user input messages? That would be a handy thing to cover if yes.
Yes, it can read out anything you want. If you can pull the variable, you can read it out.
@@nuttylmao thanks, Nutty! I'm sorry I didn't say it sooner. UA-cam never alerted me of the reply. You're the best!
Two nuttys videos in a week, what is this?
It was great even and Gen Xer like me could follow it.
Hey nutty it gives me an error when i click on the pdf link is the other way to get it ?
i wanted to use the speaker bot on my macbook for streaming and driving but i think ther is no mac os version any tipps how i can get the whole chat to speak
Yo is there a way to make just certain twitch users or mods use this as a command to make announcements or just to get my attention? would be sick!
Create a chat command in the "Command" tab in Streamer.bot and put "Moderators" in the "Allowed" column.
Then just create an action in the "Actions" tab to do the text to speech.
@@nuttylmao ty nutty :)

streamer bot doesnt have events listed in platforms for me, is it just me or has this been an update or something?
Will this work with Streamlabs or only Streamlabs OBS? Thanks
It doesnt need any connection to the streaming software, you can use OBS, Streamlabs, XSplit, PolyPop or anything you like, the bots connect independantly direct to twitch / youtube
Can I use this on kick?
I cant find the google doc
I made it to the end , do u ruv me too 🤣

the pdf stuff, its a link to ur discord but it doesnt take me anywhere
Using sheepchat (on steam) solely because it has good TTS engine

I'm going to post a video on Twitter about how to use this for streaming on UA-cam
It's not working for the link to discord.
that UI is better than the bullshit useless obscure Metro UI's that are around now
bahahahaaa. "you must be new here"
