I honestly don’t know if this video made any sense but you should leave a comment saying “Wow, I learned so much!” anyway because it will make me happier.
My best automation is whenever I raid someone the stream ends by itself, no more forgetting to press the stop streaming button.

I found out about Action History a few months ago when I was setting up websocket servers and clients to interact with SB. It's so important when making anything past surface level, I can't believe I went so long without knowing about it.

Hi Nutty, thanks for the tutorial! I want to ask about this though, I want to make a Streamer.bot command that can enable/disable actions with one button on Stream Deck(which involves in turning visibility state of the Move Transition filter), do you know how to make it something like a toggle with only one button?

Is there a way to get the filename of the current playing file from a Media Source via OBS events? I have a large library of individual clips and would like to get the name of the clip as a variable if possible.
How do you have so many camera hooked up? I keep running into host controller issues and can only do a max of four before I need to buy a pci card slot. Is there any other way around that? Are all your cameras on your 2nd pc?

SwitchScenes does seem to show up in action history on the version I'm on. I tried to follow your tutorial about starting ads on BRB but it doesn't seem to be supported anymore.

this looks totally awesome! Is this 'portable' similar to how OBS has a portable option? and/or does this work as expected with OBS Portable? I currently run my OBS off an externa SSD so I can use on different puters... thanks a lot, great info!
Yep, all your settings are stored in the Streamer.bot folder, so feel free to throw it on a USB stick and move it around PC's if you like.
Im trying to set Streamer Bot but I incounter a problem on the step of Servers/Clients and then on HTTP Server. I click on Auto Start and then Start Server, BUT the Requests Box is emty and I can't move along to the next step. HELP!
Im trying to know what event calls the bitrate change on obs. but i cant. You spoke about it but didnt show anything how to do it .

Same I'm kinda stuck w/ everything.😅 I was trying to make a facetracker channelpoints redeem action , the only problem was that it didn't even worked even when I tried to use trigger to activate the facetracking it does work but not by redeeming channelpoints.
I do not see the Events tab when I go into Platforms > Twitch?
For v. 0.2.1 it seems to be that all Events have moved to the Triggers Window in the Actions Tab. Highlight the Action you want to edit, right Click in the Trigger Window and add all Events, that shall trigger this Action.

Does an action have conditional statement? For example: trigger an action only if a specific variable has a value higher than 1000?
That is pretty simple yes, you can utilise incoming arguments or global values for your comparison

Ok you are fantastic but i cannot find how to add the variable of how long someone has subbed to twitch for, so i want to have a chat msg saying %user% has subbed to (channel) for X months but cannot find the variable to fill in X can anyone help me please. I have only been learning streambot for 7hours and love it.

HI Nutty, I'm lost and can't figure out how to mute redeems by scene. i.e. I have change camera redeems but i dont want them to be available during my starting soon or BRB Screen on Twitch. Can you help me, pLeAsE?!?!?!

I tried to do some of these to my streamer bot but it always says connecting to obs. Obs also says websockets plugin is not working correctly everytime i launch obs
Which OBS you using? The websocket 5.0 plugin is built directly into OBS now

is the UI facelift for BETA only or Full release
The different UI that nutty showed at around 0:33 is currently in alpha only til it's ready for beta
It will be in beta soon. There are a LOT of changes and new features incoming and they all need testing before its ready for the general public to play with.

I have managed to get streamer bot to send a message to a channel in my discord when they type !reminder but cannot get it to read the twitch message. Can you help? Thanks! Beaver.
9:30 you can just use the ? Button next to the triggers
They don't show all the variables, and some don't show any. They will also be going away entirely in the next version of Streamer.bot.
Action History tab is foolproof.

Looks like you have completely different options in the OBS Events than I do. I wonder if it's due to having the old version of the websocket server? I have the v5.x and I only have "RecordingStateChanged" and "StreamStateChanged" which double triggers things.
Nevermind, I figured out how to do it. I needed and If/Then for variable obsEvent.outputState to read OBS_WEBSOCKET_OUTPUT_STARTED for testing.
I completely forgot about that variable search, it's so super handy.
