Watch an interview where they're asked about the Rev. That smile is gone in a half a second max. And I completely understand it too. Fans keep asking about the Rev. and it cuts them open every time
Shadows is a very smiley guy but he does however look really fierce while playing Second Heartbeat at Warped tour in 2003.

Sierra Lynn Shadows at first glance always looks so humble and easy going you could get along with him very well.
This guy seems very down-to-earth, amazing vocals and lyrics.
Ronald Deschinny he's a little bit bat shit crazy at times but Matt is one cool guy met him at the show in MI for uproar festival at det music theater. The rest of the band is very low key and down to earth as well. Johny Christ is a prankster had beer poured all over me for fun. I love all them guys.
Ronald Deschinny They're the greatest guys ever. I've grown up listening to them, and going to their shows. First time I met them I was eight, maybe nine. This was back when they were more of local sensation and not really nationally known. I'm now twenty two years old. It's now to a point where they know me by name, and will approach me when I haven't even noticed them. They're so damn generous too. If you're a loyal fan of them, they will make a point to talk to you. I was sitting on a couch in the lobby of a hotel using my laptop after a show, and the band walked through the door. I was too busy editing and uploading shots of the concert to even notice them. I see these legs walk up out of the corner of my eye, and hear "Hey, hey, girl!" and look up to see Brian their guitarist standing in front of me. I actually got my first picture with the entire band (with Arin as drummer, I had some when Jimmy was still alive, but never a full band shot once Arin became the drummer), and it was only because Brain had come up to me. If he hadn't, and they'd kept walking to the elevators, I wouldn't have even noticed them probably. I've been given guitar picks almost every single concert I go to, free tickets, free sticky passes (backstage passes), meet and greet passes, after party passes, etc. I've got a nice collection of different sticky passes for backstage access, meet and greets, after parties, etc. And solely because of their generosity. If you say hello to Brian or Zack, or their security guys or crew, they're likely to hand you some guitar picks. It seems like they carry them around just to give out. Because of how many times I've met them, I've also gotten to know much of their crew, and these guys are just awesome as fuck. And it goes to a personal level too. I've not only met the band, but I've also met Matt and Brian's parents multiple times. I've met Matt's wife on multiple occasions, and their oldest son once. They literally remember my name, and know what state I come from. It's insane just how involved and caring they are of their fans. I know this comment is long as hell, but I just have to try to emphasis just how humble, generous, and awesome all the guys in this band are. Their appreciation towards the people who support them is just incredible. I don't want to come off like I'm bragging, because that's definitely NOT what I'm trying to do and I just realized it might seem as such, in my excited recollection of my experiences. But I am trying to make it extremely clear that if you support this band, they're going to be extremely grateful and generous in return. I'm not going to say this will be everyone's experience with them. But if you go to every concert you're able to attend, and you get to know their crew and eventually them, they'll definitely begin to show their appreciation the more they get to know you. They're just super humble, awesome guys. I'll stop here, but I could keep going on and on about how wonderful they are, lol. But I think (hope) you get it.

Best people in the damn planet Matt's sister is a sweetheart she played for the Detroit shock for a few championship games before they moved to another arena in Oklahoma. She was the one I could only say hello to as the other shock girls were cool I just new her more I guess that was the best part of working for the palace of auburn hills. Too bad she's getting torn down.
They are such a bunch of lovely guys. And I loved reading your experience with them and I agree with everything you said. They are all, including the fam and crew such nice people.

@@abdur1300 This is so BS. A frontman can certainly be confident on stage and shy off screen. Some of my favorite singers were shy, on top of my mind, Chris Cornell was known to be very shy in person, even in some interviews on UA-cam he seems to be more inquisite than normal. Chris said this about himself, and Kurt Danielson - who knew him - said the same thing about Chris [search 'Kurt Danielson and Chris Cornell' on Google, it's the first thing it appears]. The same thing can be said about Kurt Cobain and Layne Staley, and they seemed even more shy than Chris. About Cobain there's even more stories of people who met him on internet [if you search by keywords 'Kurt Cobain' and 'shy']. By the way, did you ever heard about how Freddie Mercury, of all people, was in person? Lesley-Ann (his biographer) said, 'For such a flamboyant performer, he was an incredibly shy man.'

Such a humble guy. Probably my favorite vocalist of all time. He might have had some drug and alcohol problems when he was younger but he's stayed out of trouble, and slowly becoming a favorite with everyone.
Fuhh Kuuu I don’t think he’s ever done drugs. He looks very healthy, plays a lot of sports and states that he’d rather play video games than go out partying or clubbing.

Yeah, they dropped all drugs (other than prescription, obviously,) and most alcohol after the Rev passed. They've been clean for 10 years now, so it's pretty impressive

This is one of my all time favorite bands. I'm old enough to be their mom and I have rocked out with them almost since day one. I love that there's a nomination for them and hope he wins. I really like the two covers A7X has put out of two of my other all-time favorite bands... The Stones and Pink Floyd.

PapaDanMrMetalMan but there is so many better bands, like The Rolling Stones, Black Veil Brides, Led Zeppelin, Dimmu Borgir, The Grateful Dead, so on. a7x is such a weak band from both a rock and metal perspective. The songwriting is a joke, the vocals are horrible, and the music is bland boring cookie cutter crap that sounds like it's been pushed off an assembly line. Nothing innovative or creative at all.

Matyas and Joseph's Meme Adventures The Rolling Stones and Led Zeppelin are the greatest rock bands of all time. BVB are the greatest rock band of this decade. Greta Van Fleet is great but they are brand new we'll have to see where they go. But right now BVB are still the best, have been since 09.
