    Good tip, mix the borax solution in a separate container and then gently pour it into the jar you are growing your crystals in being very careful not to let the undisputed borax into the jar. That will help grow more crystals on the pipe cleaner and less growth on the bottom of the jar.

    you can do this with salt and sugar, we did it in grade school with sugar, just keep adding in till no more can be dissolved

    i really enjoyed that you did something different when you used paint on a couple of them. i really liked how close the camera was so that we have a good close view of what you were working on as well. i thought this was a very well put together tutorial video. thank you from your newest subscriber!!

    I make geodes as well but I use a multitude of chemicals and crystals I bought from art supply stores. Im about to make some very large heavy pieces. My goal is to make them high end pieces that would cost my customers nearly $5000 each or greater. Ive done about 100 so far but now its time I make them larger and utilize larger molds for a gigantic formation for the bones of my geodes. Cant wait to start posting my larger pieces.

    thank you for this valuable information❤.
    I have a question: how long do the crystals keep their shape, after drying, or do they have to be varnished? If I would use this type of crystals to make earrings, for example

    Loved it! Thank you for explaining it so well. The last video I watched of this dyi craft was a disaster! She was literally doing the experiment as she was filming and didn’t edit it well enough , so it kept going on and on driving me insane, wasting 20 minutes of my precious time for absolutely nothing! 😂

    Thanks.. looks like it's gonna save my so much money.. How hard are they? Will they break upon falling down..? And what is to be used instead of pipe if I want straight crystal rods, used in crown

      i have not used any alternative to the pipe cleaner, whatever shape you roll the pipe in, that's the shape of your crystal you will get in the end, hope this helps! Happy Crafting!

    Just an observation. You are much much prettier when you came back to take out crystal, without all if that makeup. Your nose and lips and eyes look better, you look literally 15 yrs younger.

    Is there any alternative if there are no pipe cleaners?

    • @bluartcanvas3336
      @bluartcanvas3336  2 роки тому

      i have not tried anything except the pipe cleaner, would be open to trying an alternative :)

      @@bluartcanvas3336 oh we actually tried a rope, and it worked! Though it's not as firm as how the pipe cleaner would result to, but the color and appearance are still shining and stunning. We still got a good grade.
