I honestly think the writers in some point decided she will go down, really down the hill... The first 3 seasons before she got into Yale she was like fighting her way in Chilton, traying to get her stuffs by her... But fro S4 and on she just started to lose her scense... She stops being the tough fighter kid to become more and more confortable with just accepting whatever life gives her... That's why she ended up being Logan's mistress willingly for long time... When I look back to the show, I guess it would've been acceptable that Rory ended up living in a small apartament, having maybe a bad paid job but a Job she loves and maybe being an amataur writer... But she just lost it and AYITL just confirmed!!!
@@nitra7516 in reality, some kids stay ambitions and reach their goals. They don’t end up a side piece and pregnant by their ex. The ending was stupid and so was the return episodes. Total waste. I look for the writers of this show and avoid watching anything from them from now on.

The parallel is drawn that jess will be a father to rorys child like luke was a father to rory by being with lorelai, despite neither being biologically related to the mother and daughter duos children

This makes me so emotional, to me the parallel between the beginning and the ending of the show symbolises what the show is about at its core: Rory & Lorelai becoming a family with Luke.

I think you're talking about the inside remodeling, right? Because after Kirk crashes the place they did change some stuff in the decoration fo the place...
also immediately after the pilot, the second episode, they change it a bunch. kirk forces some change but it's also just that they finalized the set after the pilot (or so im assuming)
They made the PIlot in Canada in a real Town, so the history had to adjust to what the town offered... later on they moved to California and create the Stars Hollows we finally knew!!
Well Luke she did not grow up to be her mum. I understand what happened to rory's character is realistic but man I still feel bad . Atleast they could have given her a good career situation or something idk

i could name soooo many tv series that ended like crap and your are left sitting there being unsatisfied, but the last episode of GG was literally the perfect ending. I was crying and thought my life was over, but still, the ending was spot on!
I didn't like the S7 as a whole... of course a everything in life, it has some good spots, the end, as you fairly claim, is one of them... or the episode where Lorelai Sings (just that part) is another example... I think that's what I meant... I would never say the show it's bad just because one final season... I just expected something different in S6 and S7 but I respect fans who find them good!!!

I had a unique experience with this show. When I hear about a good show after the first season has aired already, I often skip the first few episodes and dive right in at the middle of the first season, so I never knew what Loreley had done; didn't know about her dark side. Found out MUCH later.
Is it me or did it look like the door to Luke's moved over the years. In first episode it isn't on the corner. Not sure when it changed....just noticed. Loved this btw

Rory cheating totally directionless Lorelei deciding to go for children. It just didn’t work! They should have HAD a kid already and been married already and we just got introduced to like 13 yr old sister! Would have been so cute to see 3 girls interacting from suck different ages and stages

She was exemplary in school and could’ve had such an amazing future and she ended up pregnant with who knows baby no job yet she went to Yale or couldve went to Harvard she had so many options and in the end she’s really just lazy it was not good character development because we all wanted her to become something amazing and don’t get me wrong there’s nothing wrong with how she ended up but we just expected so much more out of her from how she was portrayed in her younger years

Amy Sherman Palladino made this show. Marvelous Mrs. Maisel is another great show with great writing.
