    Way to pay respect to original artist, Paul Evans. I love this format with narration Jimmy.

    Sometimes I cry at night, when I'm alone, because I know I'll never be as amazing as Jimmy Diresta.

    The pattern of the 'frame' on the doors reminds me of a city street grid, like looking down on a colorful map. I can imagine what stores and homes, parks and structures are in all the triangles and trapezoids in between. Thank you, Jimmy, for sharing your thought process with us.

    It was really nice to see you Jimmy expressing yourself, and not just building the normal wood working norms. I really think you should make more like this and REALLY express yourself.

    This is quite great. I like when Mr. Diresta gets out of his comfort zone.

    Wasn't a big fan of this piece until I saw it installed in the space in your vlog. Nice work Jimmy and once again, thanks for sharing.

    What's interesting to me is that the piece looks right at home in your shop, while I can totally see it inhabit a New York studio apartment. Really great piece! Nicely done Jimmy.

    So long as your vertical rails are all the same width, measure half the width of your end rails and then divide the length of the piece by the desired number of verticals. I love watching you work, Jimmy.

    Very clever and nicely executed Jimmy! I like the piece of wood screwed to the router base. Slick. Cool looking piece, very unusual.

    This thing is amazing. Relatively "simple" build, but your techniques for building (the dado jig, self made hinges, and that middle leg of the baseframe) and the artwork on the doors gives it an amazing appearance.

      I'm confused, does Jimmy D make these videos for this channel?

    • @Ian_Hay
      @Ian_Hay 8 років тому +1

      +Bradley Patrick Yes. He does exclusive videos for Core77 about once a month. He also does regular videos for Make. Those, and his own channel, are the three places where all, or nearly all, Jimmy Diresta's videos are found.

    • @bradpatrick3796
      @bradpatrick3796 8 років тому

      +Ian Hay good deal. I knew he did them for Make. I just wanted to make sure it was legit here. I'll be subbing now that I know. Thank You
