Greg, te lo digo en español porque sé que lo hablas a la perfección, eres un profesor cojonudo. Gran día fue cuando encontré tu canal entre toda la marabunta de youtube. Muchas gracias y felicidades por tu patenidad.
Sometimes, I review your videos cuz' ,is a pleasure to me ,your GREAT WAY OF TEACHING !!! ,Sometimes...WORDS DON'T COME EASY TO ME .... ,(I'm a begginer) ,but !!!😊 YOU'RE THE BEST GRAMMAR ENGLISH TEACHER ON YOU TUBE !!!! 😊😊😊(CELIA FROM ARGENTINA 🇦🇷)🇦🇷🇬🇧🇦🇷🇬🇧🇦🇷🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧 THANKS FOR YOUR HELP !!!!❤❤❤
I started watching your you tube channel when subscribes were 70 to 75k now I can see that is increasing gradually. you are eligible for a few million subscribes. I wish it will complete very soon. Thank you very much sir. I'm Jubair Mahmud from Bangladesh.
Good video. Thanks. To recap what you explained, there's an even easier rule that brings all these verbs together, making it clear when the -ing form is to be used after "to": when a direct object can follow "to" so the -ING form is to be used.
Thank you, Greg for this enlightening class. It's been ages since I was looking forward to finding a solution for this english issue. Now I got it!!!!!
9:03 you said "In fact, another really, really common mistake is knowing...". Why did you use "knowing" not "to know"? That's something I've always wondered, when to use infinitive and gerund after the verb to be. Could you make a lesson about it?
Sir, you are an amazing teacher to teaching english garammer. I never heard or studied this grammer rule before. In this comment i have enterd that grammer rule in the sentence before. Thank you. I am latha from 🇱🇰. ❤️👍
Hello dear GREG !!!,I'm ARGENTINIAN ,and I 've found you recently ,YOUR LESSONS ARE SO FUNNY ! SO GOOD !! I LOVE your style !! I'm a begginer, but I learn a lot with you !!!,And I don't know ,why I love English languaje ,!! Perhaps because I like singing Phil Collins ,Sting ,Coldplay 😅 GREAG !!!I follow you every aftenoon !!!!😊😊😊😊❤❤❤❤
The simple trick to using gerund after verb is very easy. First to identify before to which is coming is Acton verb or non-action verb if it is Acton verb need to use just to + verb first form(to+verb) and vice-versa if non-action verb use to+gerund as like, admit, freak, long, crave and many more though those like learn, think, seem, know these words seem non action verb but they take to +verb first from when we get to need to strain on our brain example - I learn to speak English language. I hope , this would be useful and would make you sence of how to utilise verb in your writing and conversation.
Hi Greg, I look forward to seeing your next video here on this platform. I appreciate your support and your willingness to help us. Best wishes from the Red Sea (not from Germany today).
thank you, this lesson was definitely mind-opening to me. I have a question: does "agree to" follow the same rule? (e.g.: "We all agreed to going to the theatre?")
Please enlighen me.."The politicians are strongly opposed to the change" i assume this is an independent clause...my question is..why do you use 2 verbs (are and opposed to) in 1 independent clause?... isnt it violate the rules of grammar?..from what i've known,in one clause you can only used 1 subject and 1 verb
It just depends on what you mean … e.g I went to school…( to ) is a preposition .. I had an exam and I didn’t make it ( meaning that you didn’t pass the exam) When ( to ) is a preposition , either a noun or a gerund comes next e.g I look forward to the party… I look forward to seeing you later.. ( to ) infinitive e.g Children need ( to ) be supervised by adults

Toefl lesson...
Greg,you speak too fast!!!😢
You have settings in UA-cam with speed of video
@@КириллВикторов-ф5мThanks. Super helpful
@@КириллВикторов-ф5м He is super smart to slowing down the speed 😄😄👍
Actually what does gerund means😂
not clear enough..
For what??
Your expectation is very difficult and confusing for the non native
The simple rule: All phrasal verbs follow preposition + gerund.
