    Installing wall fans and even ACs still not enough to cool down your home? Watch this 👉 ua-cam.com/video/xcT1cq0QO5k/v-deo.html

    instead of cutting the cord and extending it which may cause the warranty to be voided use an extension cord or extend the power supply by connecting wires to
    the back of the main outlet and use conduit wire pipes and connect it to the newly installed outlet that's high enough to reach the wall fan plug

    When drilling the holes do you drill into a stud or not?

    • @HanDIYman007

      Ideally yes but the wall in the video is all concrete so doesn't really matter where i drilled.

      @@tsoftbone you can use expansion drywall screws instead to mount your wall fan. With these, you won't be at the mercy of where your studs are.

    How about plywood wall? Is it okay to use the same technique as you use to install the wall fan?

    • @HanDIYman007
      @HanDIYman007  3 роки тому +1

      Yes! Just use wood screw instead, to mount the fan.

      @@darkdot570 that "switch" on top of the fan is called an oscillating knob. You push it down to make the fan oscillate (swing side to side). You pull it up to make the fan steady and face only one direction.

    No soldering or shrink wrap? Just tape on that splice, then hide it behind some trim? No way!! That’s definitely not up to code! 😂

    Voiding my warranty would be the least of my concerns, you stand a good chance of starting a FIRE!!!!! If your going to splice a wire with electrical tape ----- at least stagger your splice---- at the Very Least!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    • @HanDIYman007
      @HanDIYman007  3 роки тому +1

      there are many ways to connect 2 wires. one of the cheapest and sturdiest is old-school electrical tape. nothing fancy.
