Sometimes there is a little too many for me to get to. However, the last few months have been extremely busy. I have very little time to do much more than make the videos and work on the gallery.
Can't wait for your gallery to be done! You always make the best tanks and have the best aquarium videos on UA-cam. I'm sure I'm not the only one who gets a ton of inspiration from you! Keep doing you Joey👍🏻
I love the silly little moments where you're talking to us like we are friends hanging out with you in the gallery with you. Sometimes you need those little unedited personal moments. It makes you more human and relatable.
Joey, just a suggestion it might be worth moving the heaters to another chamber of the sump. If there is a leak the return pump will pump the last chamber dry and the heaters will explode. This will not happen if there is a baffle in the way. A bit 'belt and braces' but may be worth considering. Everything looks great, well done.
I am hyped for the new tank. I love to watch schooling fish and i even wanted to get some of my own. Also, i just wanted you to know i appreciate you telling me all of your aquascaping supplies including the plants and substrates, which i might use for myself. Your helpfulness has not gone unnoticed. Keep up the great work
Great video, awesome how things are coming along. I started watching your videos at the beginning of the rebuild of your garage. You will have material from this for years to come. Thanks for doing what you do!
Do you have plans to finish the inside of the stand? Like paint it black or something? I think it would compliment the sump better considering you put the effort in to install the lights and everything.
Mission accomplished Joey, I'm inspired for sure. I'm in the process of customizing an eshopps sump to fit my tank's needs. Including a diy refugium! Couldn't do it without your detailed how-to videos and all your advice. Thank you for making all the videos you do, I'm definitely improving as a hobbyist and I'm spreading the word. Rob
I just make terrariums for various places in my house. I learned a lot about how to work with acrylic watching Joey's videos, then stayed to learn more about aquariums. One day, I want to build a vivarium with a diorama of a log cabin and a "lake" and a "forest" and will need to know more about filtration and lots of other things.
Dutch Aquaria I didn't hear him say he would outright, but I remember after he showed the 375 tank filtering system that he was glad he showed it since he would then remember to get the CO2 from in his house, I think. So I think there's a good chance.
Joey, this scape is going to be absolutely SICK!! I cannot wait!! Just remember (as I'm sure you know) Jungle Val are runners so they wont stay in the same spot. They'll send shoots all over your tank. You should throw in some Ruby Val as well!!! Also, Rainbow fish are the best fish for this tank! I'm so excited for this!
MR,PINCER & FRIENDS nice haha playing it safe! I have roaches, tarantulas, and a few frogs but the only one of those that isn't a plastic container, and has water, is the Frog Pond which is only about half a gallon. Most of my tarantulas are in plastic or acrylic. The roaches are just in big Sterilite bins
MR,PINCER & FRIENDS Got a 180,90, 2 50's, 5 30's and 5 10's and my biggest worry is any of them springing a leak and destroying our newly renovated hardwood floor
Wow joey, you hit over 11k views in less than an hour. Grand salute. Thank you for everything that you have done to spread this awesome hobby and for inspiring thousands of people.
I just can't wait to see this! you literally inspired me to start a fish tank for my room and even though I don't know what to put in it yet, your videos gives me a lot of idea!
I'm sure Frank is fine, although with the biggest, most territorial fish gone he obviously is a lot more confident.which is why he expanded his territory
The last few vids I have seen, Frank seems to be a lot more happy and swinning out in the open since that Arawana passed. He used to always hide by the log
Hey man, sorry to hear about Buddy. On a brighter note, I think rainbow fish are going to be an awesome addition to this planted 375 gallon. I have a breeding set of the red variety in my 80 gallon freshwater community tank and they are gorgeous. I love what you do and I love seeing your fish gallery come to life. Keep doing what you love.
You are truly an inspiration to me and probably many of you other viewers, you are happy and excited throughout all of your videos and it shows me that you can do what ever you want later on in life and you represent it perfectly with you passion. Keep making great content.
Great video. That sump is going to be awesome. 2 suggestions: 1) you could use plexiglass on the stand to knock down the noise and help with evaporation/humidity,, and 2) the first reactor could be filled with Purigen to get the water crystal clear.
Sweet Build Joey! I appreciate that your using the sterotypial saltwater gear on a freshwater tank! I have done that for years and love sumps to hide all my equipment (my early planted tanks were IM all in one tanks !) I can't wait to see this baby scaped!
We are all excited with you Joey! Can't wait to see what plants you are going to use, definitely will probably give me some ideas for the 75 Gallon I am working towards. Still need to figure out what to stock it with besides my Golden Dojo Loach and Platies
Plan sounds sweet Joey! Love the manzanita too, I have a 3' piece in my scape. IMHO, I'd tint the end of the tank with the wavemakers and weir & paint the underside of the stand black to match. Gallery is looking sexy! It's inspiring man.
I'm going to be honest King of DIY-fish AC Canada-ants Brian-reptiles These all like the same people but different animals I want to get one of them but idk who please reply and tell me
I love scaping my small betta tanks but i love big communities more so im pumped to see big schools of small starter type fish swimming throgh a cool scaped tank! It really gives me hope and inspiration!
So glad I found you when you were trending, I adore this channel and excitedly await every update Its so enjoyable. So excited to see this tank all out its gonna be amazing looking.
hey joey, i hope this doesn't come off as rude, but if you need more time to post videos then take your time. we love your channel and would much rather like to see progress than daily videos but just 20 minutes of empty aquarium/equipment... it's okay and i like it, but if you need more time to set things up and plant/introduce fish, then that's okay, im sure i can speak for all of us when i say quality over quantity. all that being said, im sure you would just like to keep us informed on everything you are doing. all the best.

Awesome job your doing !!! Because of you and your great videos, I am motivated to get back in to the hobby...thank you...i am also going to build a 300 gal cellcast acrylic tank...and build my own stand and build a 125 gal sump in my basement...
lol... I could put it through a lighting storm if i wanted to.... have clouds slowly pass... or maybe have the sun rise on one side of the tank and fall on the other... all the while controlling all colors and intensity... just to name a few. I can of course turn them on and off.... But i program it to do that..... However, i also allow them to work at night based on time of year and moon phase... Simulating the moon. ;) This thing would probably make me breakfast too if i can figure it out lol
As a rainbowfish keeper, I was hoping you'd give some love to the rainbows in one of those 120s. Instead you're setting up my dream tank. Can't wait to see what species you'll be stocking.
Hey Joey I would reconsider the caping of the ada, the valsiaria will send out enough runners to eventually cover it as well as the gravel eventually working its way down through the ada. Plus I personally think the gravel and sand will look funny together
Excited to see what the tank will look like. Some suggestions for easy plants that may go well with what you have planned. Blyxa japonica, cryptocoryne (there are a variety of species), staurogyne repens, alternanthera reineckii for some red notes, and perhaps some sword plants
Wired on Red Bull Joey is hilarious, love this and the fact its hectic, makes it seem so real life ! You must also have the most understanding wife in the world !!
With all the heavy bio load and light you'll be using in the 375, you may have a bit of algae growth in the display tank. You might want to get rid of those blocks in that middle sump chamber (I think you'll have plenty of biological media) and put an algae scrubber in there. You'll reduce a ton of nitrates and keep most the algae off the plants in the display tank.
Loving that sump first off. I got two suggestions. You may want to think of some sort of auto top off system. And two move the heaters from the return compartment. From all that I have heard that is the only compartment that may run dry.
i'll tell you right now that those marine pure blocks are gonna have to go if you are trying to keep nitrates in the tank. They work SO well in our saltwater hobby that people (me included) have to dose nitrates to keep enough in the tank for the coral.
Also, when capping aquasoil with sand the sand is going to inevitably sink to the bottom and the larger gravel, aquasoil, is going to end up above it. I did the same thing except I ground up the AS to a dust and then capped it with the sand, which worked. It was a very thin layer of the AS to help prevent any anaerobic places, but there definitely is some still. Best of luck Joey, I have a feeling this is going to become a very special aquarium. B)!
Aren't you worried about the co2 out gassing? That sump and system seems like it will have a lot of surface movement which will cause a lot of co2 to be released into the atmosphere
Nice build.. That thing is gonna ge bullet proof =).. Your sump is the shiznit.. Honestly your sump and tank is set up super similar to a reef system. Biological is the way to go in my opinion for longevity. Word of advice replace that ball valve on your drain line with a gate valve.. The bean animal is self leveling but dialing it in to pure silence is hard with a ball valve. You will be using your dry "emrgency" more than it was designed to be used. One last bit of advice would be double up your water change ball valve.. If your leaving 300+gls of water relying on a single cheap ball valve your really putting a lot of faith in a $10 valve. I personally would use two Tru Union ball valves ( I use Asahi since I can rebuild if needed) and rotate the use so you can change it or have double redundancy if it decides to leak.. Hope you don't get offended with advice/ opinions I just like to share mistakes I've made in my 30 years of experience in the hobby ( pure reef since '99 lol) and hope others take it into consideration ..
Today we take a look at my 375 gallon planted fish tank, in the aquarium gallery!
All video on this aquarium: goo.gl/7wrKYr

Looking forward to seeing your vision come to life on the 375. Rainbows will look great in that tank!
I love the silly little moments where you're talking to us like we are friends hanging out with you in the gallery with you. Sometimes you need those little unedited personal moments. It makes you more human and relatable.
Yesterday was my birthday and all I asked for was a new turtle tank! And I got it!!
happy bday
Did you forget to ask for a turtle?
aguyandhiscomputer lol
aguyandhiscomputer a new turtle tank. meaning a new aquarium for her turtle.
Alyssa Fenolio NICE what turtle do you have?
Joey, just a suggestion it might be worth moving the heaters to another chamber of the sump. If there is a leak the return pump will pump the last chamber dry and the heaters will explode. This will not happen if there is a baffle in the way. A bit 'belt and braces' but may be worth considering. Everything looks great, well done.
Those lights can do anything you can imagine hmm? Lights that can feed fish 😯👍🏼
VirtualJunky cool
Congrats for 500k Joey!

This is my favorite channel
Redzt same
Cannot wait to see your skills revealed & I bet the 375g tank will even be jaw dropping without the rainbow fish!!
I don't have any fish or any intention of buying any but I love these videos!
I just make terrariums for various places in my house. I learned a lot about how to work with acrylic watching Joey's videos, then stayed to learn more about aquariums. Great to see you smiling and so pumped Joey, can't wait to see buddy's old home finished and full of life again! Keep going brother
Looks good, Good luck with planting it $$$ :)
already done. ;)
Nice, well in that case I cant wait to see it! I cant remember if you said it or not, but are you going to have pressurized Co2 in this tank?
Dutch Aquaria I didn't hear him say he would outright, but I remember after he showed the 375 tank filtering system that he was glad he showed it since he would then remember to get the CO2 from in his house, I think. So I think there's a good chance.
I've been waiting for this, I'm setting up a ten gallon planted Aquarium with some Neo caridina shrimp, so excited for my tank and yours!
Cool video again bro 👌
Loved the video
Joey, this scape is going to be absolutely SICK!! I cannot wait!! Just remember (as I'm sure you know) Jungle Val are runners so they wont stay in the same spot. They'll send shoots all over your tank. You should throw in some Ruby Val as well!!! Also, Rainbow fish are the best fish for this tank! I'm so excited for this!
I would be paranoid with all the tanks. I would have put in drains in the floor just in case. :)
MR,PINCER & FRIENDS Same! I have wayyyy fewer tanks than Joey. I only have a 55 gal, 20 gal and am working on a 260 gal and I'm *still* paranoid lol
Siilver Poiison I have 3 tanks , 100 gallon , 20 gallon and 10 but none have water just lizards and worms and roaches.
MR,PINCER & FRIENDS nice haha playing it safe! Hi Joey, How is Frank? Is he much happier without the Arowana can we get an update video? Much love!
I'm sure Frank is fine, although with the biggest, most territorial fish gone he obviously is a lot more confident.which is why he expanded his territory
the frank nation will take over
The last few vids I have seen, Frank seems to be a lot more happy and swinning out in the open since that Arawana passed. He used to always hide by the log
Scott Marshall arOwana not arawana
It's leviOsa not levioSA
I'm so pumped up about you setting up this tank.I really want to see the sump in action. The sump is something to behold
Joey's outtakes: "It's 8ft long, 3ft wide, 2ft tall and holds 375 gallons of water.... just like my d!" hahahha
You should get that checked.
AlexsAnimalChannel lmao, that's hilarious 😅😅😅
AlexsAnimalChannel we all thought that haha so funny you wrote that!

You look very good wearing black
Jerry he looks even better in a tank top
Plan sounds sweet Joey! Love the manzanita too, I have a 3' piece in my scape. IMHO, I'd tint the end of the tank with the wavemakers and weir & paint the underside of the stand black to match. Gallery is looking sexy! It's inspiring man.

hey joey, i hope this doesn't come off as rude, but if you need more time to post videos then take your time. we love your channel and would much rather like to see progress than daily videos but just 20 minutes of empty aquarium/equipment... it's okay and i like it, but if you need more time to set things up and plant/introduce fish, then that's okay, im sure i can speak for all of us when i say quality over quantity. all that being said, im sure you would just like to keep us informed on everything you are doing. all the best.
i like vids even if there short
I love these equipment vids. Speak for yourself
That is one heck of a tank Joey. I highly recommend using the ADA bacteria to help with the ammonia spikes. Can't wait to see this build.

Awesome job your doing !!! Because of you and your great videos, I am motivated to get back in to the hobby...thank you...i am also going to build a 300 gal cellcast acrylic tank...and build my own stand and build a 125 gal sump in my basement...
O you can do anything with the light? How about TURNING IT OFF I bet you can't do that
lol... I could put it through a lighting storm if i wanted to.... have clouds slowly pass... or maybe have the sun rise on one side of the tank and fall on the other... all the while controlling all colors and intensity... just to name a few. The king of DIY can you make them rain?? Got you there huh?
Nutty 16 all you need is a water hose
80 or so Denison Barbs would be beautiful and one of the most interesting to watch tanks I could imagine
Never ever apologize for being yourself, that's what brought us to the channel to begin with.
Love the updates
So freaking excited to see this tank full of plants and rainbows...👍👍!!!
Oh Joey.. You sure know how to make my timbers shiver.
As a rainbowfish keeper, I was hoping you'd give some love to the rainbows in one of those 120s. Instead you're setting up my dream tank. Can't wait to see what species you'll be stocking.

Appreciate you sharing this journey! I admire such dedication to the hobby! Looking forward to future vlogs
Thanks for having the Bashsea open, it is so amazing.
Excited to see what the tank will look like. Some suggestions for easy plants that may go well with what you have planned.
Blyxa japonica, cryptocoryne (there are a variety of species), staurogyne repens, alternanthera reineckii for some red notes, and perhaps some sword plants
Thanks for addressing my question from your last episode. This setup is top notch for sure!
Wired on Red Bull Joey is hilarious, love this and the fact its hectic, makes it seem so real life ! You must also have the most understanding wife in the world !!
I love how you have your cuddly arowana in one of the tanks! XD
With all the heavy bio load and light you'll be using in the 375, you may have a bit of algae growth in the display tank. I think I might have misinterpreted whether you're going to cap the AS with the sand, still going to stick this out there though.
You inspire me! I want to have tanks that awesome one day!!
Wow I can't wait for Tuesday!!! You're so good with aquascaping ideas, keep it up!!! 😃
Aren't you worried about the co2 out gassing? That sump and system seems like it will have a lot of surface movement which will cause a lot of co2 to be released into the atmosphere

You can never have to much bio media. But if you plant the tank enough, the plants will work as media as well, right?
Who else can't wait till Tuesday!🙋🏻♂️
