I wish more videos explained how to play like this. I play wild rift and proxy is basically impossible with how much faster games are and shorter the maps/lanes are
play yorick ap ,i'm having a blast playing it right now start tear ,then liandry > Rylai > Fimbulwinter then lichbane first strike,Magical Footwear,Triple Tonic,Jack of All Trades can be good if enemy tries to counter you without knowing ur strat
if not, just stand in the bush closest to enemy tower and block the minions for 1-2-3 seconds for the same result, this isn't anything new in toplane, i do this on riven vs bad matchups, just so i don't take damage early. Very good start, but he didn't "really" come up with this, possibly he did by using singed w, but it's 100% the same idea.

Quinn's the bigger problem, but if you time your fling you can throw her behind you when she jumps you so instead of her flinging herself backwards, you're screwing her positioning so you can get away. Quinn's a problem because her R allows her to catch you on the proxy. If you run a movespeed build, as you should, you don't even need TP most of the time if you're doing this strat because you can catch the wave from base, just rush swifties and winged plate. IF you feel like you'd need TP when you run ghost/flash you can simply ghost to lane off of nimbus cloak and you can run cosmic insight for reduced summoner cooldowns.
For anyone that would find this info useful (@26:20) if you use the Comma/Less Than or Period/Greater Than (Angle Bracket) keys you can move the video frame by frame on YT. You do not hit shift for this to work.
Slowdown minion at level 1 is actually a lot more common than you might think. It was popularized by TheShy long time ago. That why I don't like leashing when I play top or when I play jg and start top side. If opponent come to lane slower than you, you can do this on all champion and it's pretty much death sentence to them.
you don't need w to do that. Just ward tribush. If toplaner is there, go hide in the bush near to their tower. Once the waves come, go take a bit of aggro and hide. Do it twice. Here u have the freeze and u can start q if the enemy follows. If the enemy is not in the tribush, go proxy. You can always do your strat if u don't see it clear, but I wouldn't go for it directly. You will be down some cs in the early

Hi Minishcap! Will this work on low elo where players don't know how to manage the wave and just keep auto-attacking the minions and hard-shoving the lane? I'm thinking against Yasuo where he just E Q the wave non-stop.
But if they don’t just perma push the wave like this Darius did. Then your wave is pushed up. It wouldn’t be better to level up W after he pushes the wave? So you can adjust if need be

singed is like the common cold, always evolving to find a way to infect the game in new ways with the enemy having to adapt and find similarly new ways to stop him. this is gonna turn into a game of chicken where the enemy laner has to guess whether Singed is just gonna W the wave or proxy.
problem with this lv 1 strat is a good toplaner i say master+ wont hit minions either but just zone you out of xp range (kill you if you dont respect) still better then normel start maybe would have to try it and play against to say 4 sure edit: if this becomes main stream and more singed do this i might also just walk up to your tower and tank wave for a few seconds this way it will even out or still puish into me but if singed has e in that case i will have to burn flash and maybe even die so its a big if
I bet you riot will "solve" it by halving the W slow against minions and monsters, they hate smart exploits like that, it messes with the 50% champion winrate rule, and the single wave slow lvl 1 can literally boost singed's winrate by a couple percentage points...
I'm not an expert but I believe that the disruption makes all of the enemy minions target a single melee minion on your side, guaranteeing that it will die faster, which in turn guarantees that the enemy minions have more total damage and will push towards you no matter what as long as you don't touch the wave?
It is a good idea but it is easier for Darius to make you lose 3 xp minions, the good thing is that you will be able to farm a little more than you could

Invertedcomposer bro, use E, A click to do an auto while enemy flies over you, is just 1 auto, but you never do that. Not saying you're not good at singed, you're pretty good, yet, I suggest you to check invertedcomposer's old Singed, he knows lots of tricks

Yorick players have been known to use their cage to block minions, their own and enemy

This is hard countered by Darius just standing in the lane to stop your minions for a second or so.

When you slow the front melee minions they clump up with the castor minions making them hit your minions faster than yours.
