@@WiscoOutdoors thanks for the reply. I just took mine apart. It looks like the rubber impeller isn’t damaged too much but more the plates underneath are abit rusty so look like need replacement
@@WiscoOutdoors by the way. When you took off yours did you have a key that came out of it that the impeller click in, I’m not sure if I had one to begin with. So wondering if I have lost it or not
Sorry I’m asking. Just panicking abit now. My motor is the exact same as yours and I didn’t see a loose key bit come out on yours so I didn’t check for it on mine
No worries. I believe the key way is fixed onto the shaft. Could be incorrect about that but I’m pretty confident. The only thing that came of was the physical impeller itself
Did the motor still piss water? Thinking mine is bad or going. I tried everything other than changing the impeller. There is still a steady stream of water coming out gf the motor but losing power
The water was intermediate. It would go full strength to a dribble. I did have some power issues when I had older gas in the motor. I used some injector cleaner and sea foam in some new gas and that seemed to clear everything out.
Reminder:
Your thingamabobby is right there.
Bro, how come you didn't replace the water pump gasket?
How did you remove that pin that holds the linkage together?
I used a small Allen key to push that pin out. I’m sure there is a proper tool for that but an Allen worked for me
Hey, was there any certain way to put the rubber impeller in or just put it in any way ?
There is no specific way to put that impeller on. There is a key way slot in the impeller so that is the only real way to put the impeller on.
