how much oil drooled into the upper housing when you pulled the filter off??? my old nissan sucks that way
Thanks Michael. Sure is a nice setup! I have a 2003 mercury 25 two stroke, how would it compare to the new 4 strokes? Power, speed and torque wise.
This is for the 25hp before 2022. Newer have a different engine, that the manual says not to change oil/gear lube until 100 hours

Hey can you answer me a question please I have 1448 flat bottom loaded heavy it only goes 20 mph max it won't go higher than that at 3500 rpm with a 10./75 .dia x 12 pitch prop suggestions thx

The oil kit you have on Amazon is a 40-60 hp is this the kit you used?
What size prop do you have
Where did you get the hour meter? manufacture?

Oil filter is last in oil circuit before return to C.C. no need to pre fill filter...
What about the 25 HP you had?
Hey Mike is it true running the new E.F.I. outboards out of fuel before storing them can damage the E.F.I. ?

What size oil filter socket did you use to get the filter out?
I can’t remember. I took the new filter and sized it at AutoZone
It has a 2004 mercury bigfoot 25 hp
Can you run non ethanol in efi
They recommend running non ethanol if available !
next time tilt it all the way up , then turn it so the plug is pointing straight down at the ground , no mess. thanks for the upload !
