Edit: day two it is 11:04 and I am yet again in my leotard and tights watching dance videos just thought I'd update all my fellow dancers / random people. Edit: I really do not want to write this but I have done it again day I don't know what of wearing my Leo at 11pm Edit : thx for 190 likes the most I have ever gotten. Edit: Just transferred to online dance leo issue has gotten worst lol Edit: Its 2022 and i had to temporarily stop ballet due to health stuff so i no longer do this lol
Figure skaters do a lot of this too. I used to stretch while watching stuff and still sit in positions that my family thinks are weird even though I stopped skating a while ago (oh, and I still can turn out pretty well too.) That was helpful in skating too, several skating basic positions require turnout - for example, the camel and sit spin - on the sit spin if you are not turned out it can make you fall.
Okay... Literally when you rolled the first clip of you sitting at a table with your leg up, I was sitting in the exact same way in bed 🤣 too accurate. I swear I'm incapable of sitting normally

These are all so accurate! I’m not a super advanced dancer, but my feet are quite flexible with high arches and other ballet dancers I know have told me, not in a weird way or anything, that they want my feet. One time my ballet teacher had me remove my ballet slippers and point my foot in front of the class, and they literally GASPED. I thought it was strange at the time, but I’ve gotten more into dance recently and I realize that I do it too now!
I have this wall in my kitchen and I just have recently been just doing back bends on the wall and see who far I can go but sometimes my family thinks I'm crazy cause I just do it randomly for no reason

I'm a former dancer/gymnast (MANY years back) but I have hypermobility, so I often stand in ballet 1st or sit crossed legged but also wrap my leg around the back of the leg I've crossed at work. Then I do various weird ways of sitting and lying at home. If I'm at my home desk, my latest thing is resting my right foot next to my hand on the mouse. lol
