Great video!! I purchased the screen and followed your step by step videos for installation. Everything is fine but my car is equipped with 360 video as standard but if I insert the rear I don't see any video. (the yellow connector is connected) could it be a question of video format?

Try going into the settings menu and go to the option that ask you for a passcode. The passcode is 3368. I have seen options there for video signal as well as 360.

Cześć, świetna robota ! Ja od roku mam zainstalowany ten ekran 12,3. Ale ten pierwszy, w którym wyświetlacz ma niebieskie odbicie. Spróbuj wykorzystać FCC louncher, można w nim ustawić ekran powitalny jak w oryginalnym PCM 5.0.

There is so many out there when we start looking. How do we know which one is the best one to buy ?

I agree. In my case, I wanted 2 things… (1) convenience, hence why I purchased at Amazon; (2) digital output, which the folks selling in Amazon were the only that confirmed functionality of digital output before purchase.

@@porscheDIY Thanks for the reply, I don't think i have the digital output being used on my current head unit. As i didn't see it when i installed carplay. But def like the look of the 12.3. Keeps coming up around the $1800 AUD price for me on amazon. but just wanted to make sure i am getting the exact same one you have, so trying to confirm brand and model etc .

@@perthlivestream The one in the video is a Plejbona… linked in the video description. However, I just replaced this unit by a DaiNav system that has better finishes and looks more OEM…

Sorry if this is a stupid question but is this only for "android" phones? If so is there one for iPhones?
Also i want this big screen so bad. if i buy it off amazon and take it to an audio place.. will it be complicated for them to do?
and does this violate any warranty or anything? i have a 2017 GTS.

This unit works with both Android and iPhone. I don’t believe it will be complicated to do, just make sure they know how to work with Porsche. As far as this affecting warranty, I don’t think so. You are not making any changes to the PCM itself, nor the car. But you might want to consult with your dealer.
