- Can anyone help identify this fish? It was shot in a freshwater stream in Rajasthan, India.
About 50 fish climbed up the rock face and got into a larger pool. 2 days later the water reduced and the fish disappeared.
My guess is it's some kind of river loach. Can anyone confirm this? - Наука та технологія
Thats a Hillstream loach, or Borneo loach. I attempted to keep them twice in my tank but they kept climbing out dying. Now that I see their natural habitat, no f******* wonder! Real thanks for the video.

First thoughts on the subject: look up either the Family Balitoridae or the Family Pseudogastromyzontidae. Both of these Families contain Hillstream Loaches that are native to India, and which may fit the bill here.
