I'm a bit embarrassed to say I'm 62 ...I have not been living under any rocks. I love lots of music. By artists she covers. I've know the name "Tori Amos" by name only. I'm a 62 year old guy and just got into Tori last night . ( that's the embarrassing part ) I saw her on the Rick Beato UA-cam channel. He's 60 and has loved her music for years he says. His show is really cool. I'm also a disabled American who can't get out very much so I get to listen to a lot of music on UA-cam. But I especially love it though when I stumble onto a powder keg like Tori.... a "new to me group or artist" that somehow bypassed me who is really good. It's ok 'cuz I've come to learn that all our lives are just an illusion anyways. The 1st cover I heard from Tori last night was "Smells Like Teen Spirit" by Nirvana and was instantly hooked on Tori. It's all Similar to finding a "vein of gold" in a copper mine and ya just keep digging and you keep finding more &better gold nuggets. Her covers of "Angie" and "Creep" I found just this morning while awaiting my pick up of monthly opiates. Now my mind is blown. This is an awesome day for me on a personal level. I'm very excited. I'd like to just hang out with Tori for a week because she seems to be such a cool person. Missing out on Tori Amos for all those years... (clicks tongue) ... mystifies me . But I was so much older then... I'm younger than that now. One thing that really bothers me is the immaturity of the audience. Dudes... shut your effing traps. !Nobody is here to hear all you 'wads yelling and clapping & whistling. They should go on tour with some other bands. Tori has a fine and sometimes almost a whisper voice. The way she breathes is all apart of her beauty & performance . Some artists or certain venues ask the audience to restrain themselves until the end .
