PA2 looks like its 90 percent Sims4
It does have sims vibes to it, especially when picking the wallpaper 😆
Skeptical about this one. As a longtime PA player this seems like a step back. We shall see!
Is it the art style thats holding you back?
@@MrsTeaRex not quite! I think a lot of it involves the lack of innovation and lack of content. A jump to 3d is super cool but I don’t trust them to do more cool things without putting it behind a DLC paywall

@@Saerkal It is a Paradox title after all, which always mean a milion DLC packs down the line, so most likely, yes.
PA2 looks good but it seems like it’s missing lots of features that where base game. And other than making the game 3D it doesn’t add to much more
I hope they expand on the game when It comes out in September
i personally will continue playing PA1 been playing for years and i love the simple art style to it. PA2 seems to cartoony for the kind of tone PA1 had
i love the original pa, but this looks so cartoonish and doesnt match the game style at all
Will be intresting to know what the modding community will do with it

So we get 3 floors (I’m not counting the roof.) friendships/enemies (which should have already been in og) and a reception room area thing (which was already in og)
That sounds fair enough to wait 6 months for base game, another 3 months for it to be playable and with the good DLC’s of the og, and at least $40 for, ignoring the good DLC’s.
Very excited.
I know the game has been delayed 3 times but hopfully this means when it is ready it will be a really good game. Im looking forward to it

In PA1 you can play it in 3D just like PA2 however you need to do a Easter egg for it 😅 i seen a video of how to do it

There is no story in PA2, in PA2 is like only a campaing explaining basic things(seen only from trailers), in PA1 there is too campaing but story too that explains basic mechanics too
with the new devs I hope its a good mix

Modding is being supported via Paradox Mods service (not workshop) so that mods will be produced as compatible with consoles as well.

I find the designs in PA2 just a little bit too playful, I am gonna miss the simple yet so complex designs from the original game

in PA1 there are 3 riot squads and in PA2 there are only 2, i am playing prison architect for a long time and i feel that a lot of things is missing

Yeh although you can add showers to their cells if your prefer

PA1 does have a charm about its simplistic graphics
