    Yes, please! I Love the videos where you verbally explain (as opposed to text on the screen) and walk us through the steps :) I learned how to do ombres and how to use decorative/shape tape from your videos ... and I discovered "skin guard" wraps - game changer, for sure! Thanks :)

    I love this format as well as the quick nail art designs for inspiration, I watch them to unwind and of course get inspiration. I really enjoyed the easy steps in this video. My grandma is a huge fan of french tip nails, she is already looking where to buy the guide stickers.
    So I think you have free liberty of doing whatever format video you like, and importantly like doing.

    👏🏻 Excellent tutorial. Clearly explained, no blasting music or speeding through it. A breath of fresh air. I taught myself to do gel nails. I want to move away from that and use the method you just used, so that’s what I plan to do. O.P.I is a good brand, I would go back to that brand for sure. I have used the French nail guides in the past but I don’t think I had a good brand as they didn’t stay stuck…messy and put me off. Seeing you use them has restored my faith to try again and the French polish, as you say, is never going out of fashion any time soon if ever! 😂💅🏻 thank you for sharing, much appreciated ❤🇬🇧

    I love love love French manicure 💅 and Ombre and it looks soo good on dark skin!
    Tip is to use really quality nail polish! I just bought a load of Essie topcoats and polishes and basecoats! Thin Essie polishes dry faster and minimal nail chips and no lifting, I'm impressed! My old gel polishes go well on my toes!
    I had a nightmare with gel polishes on my fingernails, now thanks to Essies thin polish, my polish STAYS ON 90% better and no gels lifting!
    Yay, no more gels on my fingernails!
    Also Essie No Chips topcoat and Essie Here Stay basecoat are REALLY strong, very much strengthened with Essie!
    I used a lot of Nailtek 2 nail strengthener up to March 2024 and my nails chipped N split, painful! Now 5 days of Essie and no nail breaks! I am so 😊 😃 happy! My French manicure Essie is THIN, SHINY and minimal chipping! Yay!
    I have no more gel lifting Yay! Tip with Essie is to use Quick Dry drops or spray, I use Elegant Touch quick dry nail polish spray off Ebay and Amazon!
    I can wear whatever French manicure 💅 I want! And Esdie lasts, no movement, or dents! Essie polish is so so SO THIN for a polish, the topcoats and basecoats are brilliant!
    Some of the 5ml Essie polishes wouldn't dry, but I need a Seche Vite Quick Dry topcoat! At last my nail polishes manicure DOES NOT MOVE! THANKS ESSIE! A bit of chipping, 80% less chipping than with gel!
    Happy! Gel nightmare was expensive but its now over! No more thick gel manicure except on my TOES, gel works better on my toes! Yay! UK 🇬🇧 24.3.24

    Hi Gabby,
    Thank you so much for posting this no frills and straight forward "french manicure" with O.P.I nail varnish, I have always love the timeless and elegant look of "french manicure"; and your video have made manicure achievable at the comfort of your home.❤️❤️❤️
    On another note, much appreciated for listing the names of the nail varnish colours; since getting the right colour especially when your olive/tan is tricky!! ⭐⭐⭐
    Will be highly appreciated if you could post a "french manicure" using SNS dipping powder, especially for low maintenance short nails like this video; since SNS nails dipping technique is something I haven't master and pretty novice at it. 😅😅😅🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️
    Keep doing what your doing, since I love all the colours on your nails; and I like your "no fussy straight to the point" videos. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

    I thought she finally crackied the French manicure code with a new technique. But no. Every girl along with myself has been trying to do this since late 90's -early 2000's when I was a little girl, well 11 🤭. But 28 year old me still can't do this. The white sticker, I find is NEVER sticky enough and ALWAYS peeled up or allowed nail polish to seep through. Also I noticed the polish would have to applied thicker so there's no streaks. White nail polish is so picky and boujee whether it's from the dollar store or a high end. Lol
    I guess some people just get lucky. 🤷🏽‍♀️

    Just ordered ZOYA ARMOR TOPCOAT, had a discount, can't wait! I have real issues with white polish! I adore French manicure but every white polish I use gets porous and absorbs the topcoats, I end up with smudged and crumbly nail tips! Wet n Wild White creme polish is cheap, but it doesn't get on to with Essie Here Stay basecoats and KINND quick dry TOPCOAT ! Obvious that I let each layer dry ! And use Essence Quick dry nail drops! Strange. Same thing happened with Technic white nail polish, Silcare gel White, MTSSII GEL polish and Essie Blanc white polish!
    A really good cheap gel-like Quick Dry topcoat is KINND Topcoat, it's really better than Essie No Chips topcoat, Sally Hansen insta dry clear Topcoat which dried FAST 😀 but chipped off easily, and Seche vite quick dry topcoat which was nice but like Essie it shrinks too much.
    I'm awaiting Zoya Armor Topcoat, can't wait and I looked at OPI Snow white polish and KINND White nail polish! Trial and error! UK 🇬🇧 😆

  • @asboukcomfortable1670
    @asboukcomfortable1670 8 місяців тому

    Happy now! Got Wet n Wild White creme polish and it's a really good, thin and strong white French manicure 💅 polish! Tip to stop chipping is use a really good Thin strengthening topcoats like Essie"No Chips" topcoat and Seche vite quick dry topcoat! I like Sally Hansen insta dry clear Topcoat but it Chips and snaps too much! Also Thin out nail and gel polish with thinner, thinner coats means you don't get too much chipping and lifting!
    I love that OPI ALPINE, its £9/$12 here, too expensive for me!.
    I prefer budget brands like Wet n Wild and Sally Hansen insta dry polish! £7/$9 or under!
    A good tip is to layer topcoats , I layered Essie No Chips topcoat with Sally Hansen insta dry because the Sally Hansen dries nail polish fast! I like Seche vite fast dry topcoat but it's very thick and shrinks the polish! Several coats add Essence Fast dry nail drops and 14 minutes my manicure 💅 is dry, though the layers are still smudgy! Don't move for 15 minutes, T tex dinosaur hands!
    Any recommendations for any other QUICK Dry Topcoats that don't chip? Uk 22.4.24 🇬🇧

  • @asboukcomfortable1670
    @asboukcomfortable1670 8 місяців тому

    Got Wet n wild White creme nail polish, solved my nail problem! A really cheap thin, minimal chipping CHEAP nail white, very bright! Only £2.40/$4, cheap!
    A GOOD Tip/ hack is to use very thin thin nail/gel coats, less BULKY nails, less chipping and lifting!
    I thinned down my Essie Blanc polish, less BULKY polish!
    Another hack is to use Quick Dry Topcoat like Sally Hansen insta dry clear Topcoat, Seche Vite Quick Dry topcoat and Essie No Chips. Budget topcoats that are thin! Happy now, and the Essie does shrink a bit like the Seche Vite, but that's OK! Less bulk, less lifting!
    Essie Here Stay basecoat is very strong, only one yes 1 chipped nail in 6 weeks, yes hallucinations! 1 chipped broken nail, not the nightmare chipped nails with too strong gel polish! 🙃 Happy at last!
    Also Another nail hack is to layer topcoats abd and basecoats! I layer Essie No Chips wit Sally Hansen insta dry clear Topcoat, polish dries fast, no smudged nails and no chipping! UK 🇬🇧 23.4.34
