    For someone who mostly does industry style gameplay, this is also. I recently purchased a Vulture and a C1. Will go and try this now.

    2024 is the year of the Drake Interplanetary settlement! The perfect combo with the release of 3.24 becomes the "Vulture" associated with the "Caterpillar", being the last becoming a bit like the "nest" of a bird, a hungry raptor.
    And if ever the monotony of recycling is felt, no worries, the "Corsair" comes to the rescue to explore the ships of citizens in distress in the Verse. "Drake" has definitely the best fleet or at least, the most balanced!

    2:00 Thats why CIG needs a new management for landing ships.
    Simply they must add new dedicated landing places for industrial, commercial and private applications. When AI starts to fly as well, the current way of handling landing and taking off from port will get cluster fucked.
    They need to separate cargo from commercial flights and private hangars/housing/storage or what ever you own into a different landing pads.
    This brings more indepth variation on taxation and use of landing pads.
    Some landing pads may be for availed for limited time (for a quick drop off and load. the cheapest option for landing)
    Some landing pads may be rented for days or months (private storage) and some landing pads only for commercial flights and "parking" landing pads/hangars what ever (these do not allow industrial or military ships) and so or so or how ever CIG would wanted to do it.
    This new persistent hangars is a gateway to new private own locations/buildings beyond hangar
    Pretty exciting ngl

    Overall I like the idea of switching cargo from ship to ship. But I don't like the way CIG implemented it. Remember when we still had the "Hangar Module"? You could spawn multiple ships in one hangar. It would be much cooler, if you could just have your C1 in your hangar in addition to the Vulture. Return from salvage and land the Vulture right next to your C1 and directly move the boxes from salvage to cargo ship. Then do another run or just head off to sell. Might have even been easier to implement.
    Oh, and if I am not mistaken, you have to manually unload you C1 to freight elevator in Orison before you can sell, right. My guess is, that after the novelty wears off, most players will stop doing it, because they spend so much time just moving boxes around. (Unless they are into Tetris).
    Anyway, thanks for making the effort and showing us how it works.

    Thanks for the video. Star Citizen is now the time vampire, it continually sucks it away from you. Now you get to watch the elevator go up and down...slowly. I use Trawler heads on my vulture, as they are way quicker. You can get them at Orison when you do the 30 minute time suck to sell off your loads. :) I will subscribe until you point a camera at yourself while you play.

      It takes about the same time to call a ship from within your hangar and have it delivered as it does to call your ship from a space station / city ASOP terminal and take an elevator to your hangar.

      I use the Cinch heads to get the most RMC. It does take a lot longer but I got 50 SCU off of a Valkyrie so I consider it worth it. I tend to use the Reclaimer though as well. So I have more space to store the material.

      This knocks off so much time... Whatre you on about. But also you can play starfield if you want a silly teleport everywhere game. It's what star citizen is. Closer to a space simulator and the large player base enjoys it for that reason.

    Thanks for the video and i am looking forward for 3.24 soon. However for me Grim Hex is way to dangerous a site to take cargo to. My message is directed at newer players. Just be careful.

    • @chriscrane1482
      @chriscrane1482 Місяць тому

      I definitely agree with this. I tend to stick in the Microtech area. It is a lot safer, but I see the Yela appeal. If I go there I will have the Reclaimer jump to me after towing the wreck we are salvaging far out of the asteroid field. Like 100+kms

  • @Alkvaarder
    @Alkvaarder Місяць тому

    I use two Abrade scrapers because the broader scrape area also grabs better in between narrow spaces. The 90% scrape of the Cinch seems nice but is tedious work with no perfect 0% end results. Panel scraping... it is lame. It is cheap but has no love to the original game loop. The cargo in certain ships make up to the front cost of contracts.

  • @P5ykoOHD
    @P5ykoOHD 25 днів тому

    I would really love to know how much it will cost to get a private hangar somewhere else like on a station ... believe it was supposed to be "rented space".
    And if they'll allow us to "hire background NPC's" to haul all of our stuff to a different location for us. My C2 can't even carry 1/10 of all the shit I have gathered and that got moved to New Babbage when 3.23 dropped (all the stuff I'd previously dispatched to the various stations).

    I cant try it out by myself (no acess to wave 1) so I have to ask you:

      this works, but i only seen it done to the cargo mission scu boxes.
      It also added an extra step in delivering, as you need to get the 8scu down, take the boxes out.
      the Player brought the boxes up before clearing the mission, but im not sure thats a step you need, if they are already in your hangar storage, you can problably simply deliver them after taking them out.

    Can you ask for different SCU boxes? For example, you stored 1scu boxes, let's say you have 24 of them. Can you ask for 1 x 24 SCU box? Instead of 24 x 1 SCU (witch will take way more time to manage).

    • @BossCostume
      @BossCostume  Місяць тому

      My understanding is that if you have a larger empty cargo container in your warehouse that you can drag these 1SCU boxes within it and call it up as a larger box. Will need to test this but I asked the same thing in the SC discord and that was what I heard so I’ve gotta try that.
