Jesse...REALLY appreciate the extra effort you put into your videos...FAR's, maps, plates, tech explanations, etc. . I know it's a lot of extra work, but it really sets your channel apart. Outstanding work!
Great flight, Jesse. You two really work well together. Nice landing for Lori. She seems to really be a great pilot. I really enjoy your videos, and the detail you provide. Look forward to more videos. I’m gonna go back and watch some of the others you’ve posted. Happy flying, and safe landings.
Sooooooooo good. This is the best well-made comprehensive executive jet short trip video I've seen EVER! I am so proud that I have actually met both of you in real life. Another great job Jesse!
I've started only 1 month ago watching your videos and I really appreciate the efforts you put in these. Great crew coordination, lots of information, superb editing and add-ons... Keep up the good work, and Thanks a lot!
Thanks Jesse I really enjoy your videos, excellent work, out of all of the videos I watch yours for some reason seem more real world, Lori is awesome too! .
You guys are so awesome. Love your videos! I think part of what makes them that much better than other channels is being able to follow the procedures with the PFD. Thanks for taking the time to edit these, they're a huge inspiration!
The Mustangs were most likely from Stallion 51 Corporation. They're an amazing group of people who I had the good fortune to be able to fly with as a private pilot. I did their version of an orientation flight to the Mustang with Lee Lauderback in Crazy Horse 2 over the Avon Park MOA/bombing range. It's one of the few flying experiences you can't even imagine and will leave you with memories that you'll never forget. If you ever get the opportunity to fly the mustang with them I highly suggest jumping at it.
Thanks! San Diego is photogenic. I cant wait to go back and have some more time there. That was done on a fairly short overnight. I left the camera out all night on the balcony haha
Great videos, I love this channel! It's hard to tell if producing videos or flying airplanes is your primary profession 😉 Can I ask what the ground controller means by "signature"? Sounds like it would be a taxiway but then "sierra" would make more sense
Outstanding video. Is it possible to add a camera from behind to show the instrument panel? Is it still called that? Love all the pop ups on the screen.
Thanks Michael! On future videos I'm going to have a dedicated camera on the panel. This trip was filmed with only 3 because I packed light due to having to airline.
Once again a great video that I highly enjoyed. I like the calm and professional atmosphere inside the cockpit. I am very much looking forward to see further videos. P. S.: I will celebrate the day Captain Lori comes without a bun (no offence!!!! she is a great pilot too, that bun tho ;-) )
Thanks for the question Bob. That’s referring to a checklist. If we have to return for landing it’s a checklist we run that helps us with that. This is used a lot on our short flights when we don’t go above 10,000ft.
I was looking at the Dukes on controller last night thinking that the only other plane as sexy as the Duke is the Phenom 300. Great job Jesse. You guys based out of FTW?
Yes we're out of FTW. I got to ride in a Royal Turbine Duke and thats the only thing that looks better than the piston version. Such an awesome airplane.
Thats a good question. Embraer recommends entering each position with the flap handle. For this reason we will say, "Flaps 2, Flaps 3" instead of just "Flaps 3". An example would be flying at 150kts and clean. You could go from Flaps up to Flaps Full but would have to enter each gate on the way to setting full. The reason we dont set Flaps 2 while in flight is because it tells the FADEC that your in a takeoff setting. The same goes for Flaps 3 while in flight. Flaps 3 and Full tell the FADEC that you are landing and in case of a Go Around the FADEC arms the Go Around Reserve power in case of an engine failure. Great question, thanks for asking! Hopefully the explanation makes sense.
JesseFlies thanks for the answer. It does makes sense when you bring the FADEC in the equation. It shows how automated and helpful are the systems on the phenom. Pretty advanced aircraft.
Nice landing, Lori! Do you steer that thing with your feet? (on the ground) I think taxiing would scare me more than most of the rest. Gets weird out there.
Yes we steer using the pedals and our feet. Sometimes taxiing at some airports can be harder than the actual flight. It helps to have a diagram and study it before arrival. Thanks for watching!
Even on an IFR you gotta be aware of your speeds. 250kts inside and 200kts below are the limits of class B. Also its good to be aware of where the traffic is and its good situational awareness.
Thanks! I was using my small Sony RX100 V and was using the built in time lapse app. If I remember correctly, it was 2 second shutter, interval of 2 seconds, f1.8, ISO 100 and manual focus. The output was a video file instead of RAW images. I really wish I had shot RAW images because I could edit them a lot more and really make it pop.
Just a question, not criticism: Are you on an IFR plan at this time? It looks as if the PIC is all "inside" the airplane. Is that typical in a two-pilot scenario in this jet? Thanks.
They are on an IFR flight plan as they went through clouds. Its actually rare for a jet to operate VFR, IFR is almost easier. As for her to be “inside” is common. All the flying in a jet is based off instruments. You cant really hold level flight based off the horizon as you can in a piston. I mean you can have a really good idea what level is but if youre wrong you are climbing/descending at 1500 fpm+ which would violate you pretty quick if you are on an IFR. Its also good for the PM to monitor the instruments and mentally fly as well as back up.
Lori and I flew a 2 day trip together in February and I filmed every leg. FTW-MMUN-BRO-ISM-MKC. I’ll be back in the left seat after the next video which will be JAX-MKC.
JesseFlies I would like to know if your ours are counted for when you’re the co-pilot ? Because me in my piper (1pilot airplane) when i sit in the right seat my time can’t be counted for . Thx for ansering 😉🛩🇨🇦
Jesse...REALLY appreciate the extra effort you put into your videos...FAR's, maps, plates, tech explanations, etc. . I know it's a lot of extra work, but it really sets your channel apart. Outstanding work!
Well said. Completely agree. Its great to get some understanding of the sometimes cryptic terms.
Very Enjoyable and like Louis and Jeremy, excellent job of providing all of the ongoing flight information. Looking forward to your next video.
Dittos, nice work, love the explanations. You two make a great team.
Just about spit my coffee out my nose with the opening time lapse comment. Hilarious!
I love Lori’s concentration and calm approach to handling this aircraft! 👍
I learn a lot just paying attention to the excellent crew coordination!
I agree with Louis. This channel is above the rest. The technical info and audios of takeoff checks etc. make for great learning tools for all of us.

I always learn a little something new when I watch these.
Absolutely fabulous work Jesse! Loving the Phenom 300 videos. Please keep em coming.
Excellent video as usual. It is a pleasure to watch you two at work.
Very cool video !! really enjoying the openning time lapse ! well done keep up the great work !
Empty that thing is a ROCKET! Great video.
It really is. It's not uncommon to pull the power back into the cruise setting in order to stay below 250kts below 10,000ft while still climbing.
I've started only 1 month ago watching your videos and I really appreciate the efforts you put in these. Great crew coordination, lots of information, superb editing and add-ons... Keep up the good work, and Thanks a lot!
Thanks Jesse I really enjoy your videos, excellent work, out of all of the videos I watch yours for some reason seem more real world, Lori is awesome too! .
Great video ……love the stuff your putting out!
This is probably my favorite channel right now. I am learning so much.
Thats what I like to hear! Glad you're enjoying it and learning!
You guys are so awesome. Love your videos! I think part of what makes them that much better than other channels is being able to follow the procedures with the PFD. Thanks for taking the time to edit these, they're a huge inspiration!
fantastic video, probably my favourite video of yours. thank you!
Another great video! Love the charts, plates, taxi diagrams and explanations.
Nice videos. I agree, the Duke is very cool looking aircraft. Enjoy your channel...
Another great video. I really like the opening time lapse. Arrivals look cool at a busy airport and the reflections in the water really top it off.
Thanks Alan, it turned out a lot better than I thought it would. I'm glad you liked it!
You do a great job. Thanks for making these videos!
I love flying. I remember my first time in the f/o seat. It was my only time in the f/o seat, lol. Can’t wait to get back into training
Thank you Jesse for another awesome video.
Hi, and just another great job.
Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for the Flight Enjoy your next one .Good weekend Capt .

That sounds awesome Paul. It's on my bucket list!
"String of Pearls" - Beautiful time lapse!
Thanks Tim, after several mediocre lapses finally one turned out well. Glad you enjoyed it!
Great Approach! Thank you both for all info before, during flight and landing. Just love it!
Excellent work guys!
What Louis Berry said held my attention
You videos motivate me man love them. I’m thinking about starting my own channel once I start flying professionally ;)
It’s a lot of fun and work to film, edit, and upload. Also growing a UA-cam channel is neat to watch. Thanks Clayton
Outstanding landing. Greased it on!
Very enjoyable, love the view flying amongst the clouds. Thank You.
Thanks for sharing your videos!
You deserve way more than 5,000 subscribers, great job!
Thanks! I appreciate that.
Great flight. Thank you for the shared information.
Strong work Captain Lori! And awesome editing as always.
Thanks Cameron!
Good piloting skills very professional thanks for sharing cheers
Excellent detail. Loved it! Thanks for the learning experience! Thanks.
Ah, the old should we "activate vectors to final" discussion, working on my IR, I know that discussion well, nice video. Paul
Nice arrival into my city! Welcome to JAX! You should choose KVQQ (Cecil) your next time to JAX.
Great video, awesome time lapse!
👍 Enjoyed the video, especially the cloud views.
Great landing!!!!
Awesome Time lapse! really really neat. Our Phenom was at KISM last week. Great video.
Thanks! San Diego is photogenic. I cant wait to go back and have some more time there. That was done on a fairly short overnight. I left the camera out all night on the balcony haha
The visuals look unbelievable in 4K on my 43" monitor... Thanks for the videos, they are great!
Thanks for noticing! Editing 4K is tough on the laptop but I love the final result.
Love that timelapse.
Fun to watch! Thanks.
Awesome videos, just found the channel and greatly appreciate the explanations!
love the explanation you gives... give me a rough idea what is going on... thanks
Just came across your channel. Subscribed! cos I Iove your content. Thanks for sharing.
Favorite pilot vlog. Great job!
"OK, I've got the airplane..." It sounded like he had repossessed the airplane. LOL
Really cool intro segment!
Totally smooth. Love the flows.
Awesome as always ! Safe flying!

Love the videos. Keep it up.
Stallion 51 flies P-51 orientation flights out of ISM, along with L-39 and a VERY well respected "unusual attitude" training school.
Outstanding video. Is it possible to add a camera from behind to show the instrument panel?
Is it still called that? Love all the pop ups on the screen.

Thanks for your respons
Very Good Videos
Love!! the time lapse!
Great clear video, thanks
Thanks Ron!
The San Diego footage was gorgeous!
Thank you!

P. S.: I will celebrate the day Captain Lori comes without a bun (no offence!!!! she is a great pilot too, that bun tho ;-) )
Great short trip. 👍
Beautiful editing. Was that a missed approach late in the San Diego time lapse?
Carl, it was definitely a go around or missed approach. Good eye!
Great time lapse and great landing by LOMA :-)
She puts rubber back on the tires with those kind of greasers!
So nice!!!
during your approach brief you mentioned "quick return", I've heard this on other vids. What is a quick return? great videos!!
Thanks for the question Bob. That’s referring to a checklist. If we have to return for landing it’s a checklist we run that helps us with that. This is used a lot on our short flights when we don’t go above 10,000ft.
Great video. The Yoke hand angles seem weird to me. But how do you two like them?
I enjoy the yoke. It was odd at first but after a while you get used to it.
Miss your flight videos bro.
The time lapse was great. :)
Thanks! Most of them turn out to be boring but this one was too good not to share. Glad you like it Jim
i am truly inspired
Nice job !
Great video as always. Flaps 2 and 3 are the same angle? So why two numbers then for landing and not just call it 2.
Thats a good question. Embraer recommends entering each position with the flap handle. For this reason we will say, "Flaps 2, Flaps 3" instead of just "Flaps 3". wonderful...really..is there Vtec inside?
ok time to bed;)))
Question: you're on an IFR flight plan, so why the focus/concern on where you are in relation to the Class B airspace? Just curious.
Even on an IFR you gotta be aware of your speeds. 250kts inside and 200kts below are the limits of class B. Also its good to be aware of where the traffic is and its good situational awareness.
I liked that time lapse. What settings did you use for it?

The output was a video file instead of RAW images. I really wish I had shot RAW images because I could edit them a lot more and really make it pop.
Just a quick question im sure you are asked all the time but generally, what is the cost of chartering your jet???
Just a question, not criticism: Are you on an IFR plan at this time? It looks as if the PIC is all "inside" the airplane. Is that typical in a two-pilot scenario in this jet? Thanks.
They are on an IFR flight plan as they went through clouds. Its actually rare for a jet to operate VFR, IFR is almost easier. As for her to be “inside” is common. When I'm asked what speed can you give I can only ever say 275 kts (ci2) 🤣
I know the feeling! The Phenom 100 was also sloooooww
What is the average cruise speed?
Wow... now the title makes sense! Haha
So if 2 and 3 are the same extension, what is the actual difference?
Ooh - belay that I see someone asked and you gave an excellent answer a while ago. Cheers.
Gets my sub, thumbs up :)
A former Duke owner agrees
Whats up with you on the right seat lately?
Lori and I flew a 2 day trip together in February and I filmed every leg. FTW-MMUN-BRO-ISM-MKC. I’ll be back in the left seat after the next video which will be JAX-MKC.
JesseFlies awesome looking forward to it!!
JesseFlies I would like to know if your ours are counted for when you’re the co-pilot ? Because me in my piper (1pilot airplane) when i sit in the right seat my time can’t be counted for . Thx for ansering 😉🛩🇨🇦
I couldn't possibly imaging why I was unsubscribed to this channel.
What a great day to be boring holes
