Ingredients:
3 Sticks of Land O Lakes Butter
3 Cups of Dixie Crystal Sugar
6 Large Eggs
2 Tsp of Lemon Juice
2 Tsp of Lemon Zest
1 Tsp of Vanilla Extract
1 Tsp of Cake Batter Extract
1 Cup of Buttermilk
3 1/4 Cup of White Lily All-Purpose Flour
1 1/2 Cups of Fresh Blueberries

Hi Mrs T, Because your cake batter is not thick the berries will fall to the bottom because of gravity. But you can fix it next time. I do it in layers. Add flour to fresh or frozen berries if your batter is not thick:
1. A layer of batter first, then blueberries, then I take a chopstick or a butter knife and lightly swirl them through.
2. Then the next layer repeats cake batter, then blueberries again swirl. But don't swirl into the first layer!!!
3. Then finish with the rest folded in a mixing bowl. Then put on top. No more swirling!! Also, "lightly" tap the pan for air bubbles.
Erik says. Leave his cake alone and get your own piece lol. I have issues with my berries sinking also. It’s hit or miss with me sometimes

When I do my blueberry muffins are used sugar to cope my blueberries, and they follow through they stay on top you know they go all the way through the gate they don’t sync to the bottom, but when you do it stop put them in the middle sum in the middle, and then you know like that but it looks delicious though thanks for sharing. if you put half of the batter in the pan then put a the blueberries in the center of batter, then put the rest of the batter in the pan on top of the blueberries. That way the blueberries will be in the center only

I made one today. You did a fantastic job as always. Yummy! I think those larger blueberries are heavier, and the weight of them makes them sink no matter what you do. Still delicious nevertheless.

Hey, Ms. Teresa. Your cake looks delicious. Dont stress yourself. I use sugar in my blueberries and use the smaller blueberries.
I learned that if you dust your fruit with flour it will prevent it from sinking to the bottom…
Beautiful cake, Mrs. Teresa. Your berries dropped to the bottom because you banged your cake on the table to get the air out. Try to get the air out before you add your berries.

This was a great video! I appreciate the manner in which you presented the recipe and your careful handling with your gloves and clean up as you go. Please keep doing these. You have a gentle way in talking through your actions. Maybe you did a little too much knocking it on the counter so berries fell to the bottom. Not a bad thing but try less and see if that helps. NEXT TIME, TRY NOT TO TAP YOUR PAN, ON THE CABINET SHELF, I COUNTED 34 TIMES, THE BLUEBERRIES WERE LARGE AND HAD NO WHERE TO GO, BUT TO THE BOTTOM OF THE PAN. I BELIEVE, THEY WOULD HAVE STAYED IN PLACE, WITHOUT THE TAPPING OF THE PAN.
